"Erwin Computers is Terrible....STAY AWAY!! I placed my order with this company on 3/8/12, paid for expedited shipping (3 day service), and per the USPS tracking system, order shows scanned but no tracking info. I called Erwin company, spoke to Jeff in customer service on 3/13/12, explained my situation, advised him that I needed my order on 3/13/12 for my sons birthday. He was very very Rude, had a bad attitude, and even raised his voice at me. I was appalled at the way he acted and handled the situation. I asked to speak to his supervisor, and was put on hold for 20 minutes, and I had to hang up, due to the wait time. I called back and never spoke to anyone and was on hold again for 20 more minutes. What poor customer service. At this stage, I am writing to request a full refund since I have never received the product I ordered and didn’t receive it on time. I am also notifying the BBB of New Jersey as well as the Federal Trade commission in NJ, due to the poor business conduct, not producing product and taking the publics money.... If this is not rectified today 3/14/12, I will be moving ahead with notifying the NJ authorities as well as my credit card Co.

"Terrible customer service. I placed an order on August 23. A temporary charge was placed on my credit card immediately. When my order status didn't get updated I sent an e-mail asking for an update. No response. So I sent another e-mail politely asking for an update. Again, no response. So I sent a third e-mail. This time I was informed that they had no inventory, and my order was being cancelled. In other words, it took seven days and three e-mails before I got any response from them. Avoid buying from this company."

"Absolutely terrible! They take your money and then you never hear from them. They charged my card and didn't respond to a single status request for over a week. Finally, when I threatened to bring Google in (used google checkout) they cancelled my order and said it was at my request, which it was not.

Star far far far away from these scammers.

"Ordered it online with the $28.95 shipping charge. Checked status online and it said the order was being verified. Called customer service only to learn that they somehow figured out just now that the TV can't be shipped UPS/FedX because of the size of the TV I ordered and that the shipping charge would be an additional $90. I agreed to the additional charge. I then receieved and email that said my order was on hold because my credit card was declined. When I checked with my back online (ING) they held the original purchased price and then submitted the entired charge price + the $90 thus the decline. I called customer service and asked why they didn't just submit an additional charge of $90 rather than putting the entire purchase on hold twice. Nonetheless I cancelled my order and ordered it online at BestBuy which resulted in me paying about $75 more dollars but atleast I know I will actually receive my TV and I will be able to pick it up at the store and get it from someone I can trust. Something told me when I purchased from Erwin that they were shady."

"Ordered an electronic component from them which arrived in the wrong size, so I can't use it. Reaching them to get this fixed has been impossible. I have tried to call several times, and every single time, after being on hold for about 20 minutes, their phone system disconnects. Emails to them seem to go into a black hole."

"I would NEVER BUY FROM ERWINCOMP.COM again. My girlfriend bought me a Garmin Zumo 550 Motorcycle GPS Navigator as a surprise present. I although she received the product and it is seems to be a very nice unit, I do not really need it because I would not use it more than once or twice a year. We tried calling them several times to find out about returning the item and was NOT able to get through to a live person even once. I finally e-mailed them and they responded propmtly to my first couple of e-mails. However, I still have questions about the return and they stopped returning my e-mails. I also e-mailed them asking to call her so we could ask our questions. It has been several days now and they still have not called or returned my last two e-mails. It appears we are stuck with a $650 item because this company will not return an e-mail or make a phone call. The customer service is horrible. They apparently do not want repeat customer business. We have never had such a difficult time with an online retailer and have done the majority of our shopping for presents online for over 10 years. I would NEVER BUY FROM ERWINCOMP.COM again. "

"ERWINCOMP.COM really sucks as a store. I placed my order and waited for an email indicating when they were going to send my item. Their website indicate 48 hour turn around. On Jan 4th I sent an email to them since they had not responded with any information on when my item would be shipped. On Jan 7th I got an email indicating the item was on backorder and their Estimated Time of Arrival was 7 - 14 days. I then heard nothing back from them and finally sent them another email on Feb 7th. This is 30 days after their last email and they still had not done anything to get my item to me. All they had done was taken my money on Dec 29th and that was it. This store has "NO customer service" and in my opinion is a black hole. I would not trust anything they write on their website nor state in an email. I have requested the return of my money and it will be interesting to see whether I need to call up my credit card company to cancel this transaction or whether ERWINCOMP will do anything. They are the worst store I have dealt with on the internet. WARNING DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ERWINCOMP.COM. "

"Worst company I have ever delt with. I had to place an order twice. They told me the adress didnt match on my credit card, i confirmed with the bank that it did, and they told me to place it agian, then it didnt match agian (even though bank said it does), and they cancelled my order, AND DIDN'T NOTIFY ME!!!! I checked the order few days later to see that the order was cancled. If the price on this site is cheaper, it is totaly not worth the hassel, because you probably wont even get the order!"

"I was extremely disappointed at how I was treated by this merchant. I purchased a product and wanted to return it within the 30-day period their policy allowed, so I FAXed an RMA request (per their directions on the web) and they never called or emailed me back. I called to follow up and they said since we were now outside the return period I could not return the product. Very poor (and self-serving) customer service."

"I ordered a router from Erwin Computers, and requested 2nd Air delivery. It was shipped Ground when I requested them to refund the difference $10 I was told to send the product back, (no offer to pay for those extra shipping costs) and they then would issue a refund for my purchase. Jeff the Sales Manager claims that he can't tell me the owner or the Presidents name and won't refund the $10."

"Purchased Kodak Dock II and 64MB card. Erwincomputers beat all other resellers on yahoo shopping for same items and had good reseller rating. Got Item 5 business days after placing order, items brand new/unopened and well packed. Would recommend and certainly buy from again."
