"I defiantly would not recommend dresses-pro to anyone, it's absolutely outrages. I cannot believe the poor communication, the online help doesn't work at all and the phone line is always on voicemail and when you email them they take a day to reply back. I certainly think they do this on purpose to try prevent costumers claiming back what is rightfully there's. I bought a dress and it was delivered to me very well damaged, by looking at it you'd think it's been worn alot. There was so many loose threads, sequences falling off and a big stain in the middle of the dress. I mean i paid an £154 which is enormous amount money for dress that worths not even 30. On the website return policy it perfectly says that if they sent a faulty item then you are eligible for full refund however that is all nonsense as they offer you 20% back which is nothing, just going to dry cleaners you have to pay more than £30. The quality of the dress is rubbish. Once they get there money you wont be able to get a penny back even with damaged item. I'm very angry and disappointed that such site exist."

"Absolutely horrendous quality, service and experience! My girlfiend and i bought 2 dresses in the summer, which turned up on the final deadline day (and im pretty sure that only happend because i reminded them the week before, although that may explain the panic rush & shoddy results!) both stuffed into a bag so tightly that had that been the day of the event (which as far as they were concerned it was!) there was no way they could have been worn as they were creased beyond any sate that could be cured by pressing at home!

Anyway that was the least of the issues as one dress was about 5 sizes too big (no exaggeration!!) and the other was bout 3 sizes too big, whcih given that we had provided 100% accurate measurements (carried by a professional seamstress) was frankly laughable! Whats even more laughable is that we had supplied the same measurements twice (i.e. seperately for each dress on the same order) so any muppet should be able to tell that both dresses were for the same person, so not only were the measurements totally ignored they didint even carry out the simple check of comaparing them with each other! That kind of incompetence really takes effort!!

The quality of both dresses was also diabolical; one of the dresses had been threaded quite badly in places as they had clearly used off cuts from other shoddy dresses and as far as the beading was concerned they would have been more symetrical if they has just covered the beads in glue and thrown them at the dress!!

I did get a full in the end but only after several emails and much shouting and arguing (and even that took about 9 attempts to get anyone on the UK number!) and that was despite their initial concession that the dresses were clearly too big in the photos that we provided! They actually had the audacity to suggest that one of the dresses was good enough (despite their previous admission they werent!) and they would only refund one of the dresses! Once i corrected their outrageous attitude they still managed to screw up the refund and sent it to an incorrect paypal account (dont even start me on those idiots!) rather than refundung it to the card that was used.

A joke from start to finish and i wouldnt just recommend not using them i would beg you to run a mile from these incompetent, money grabbing, amateurs...although as theyre based in China i suppose they already are miles away, so just dont use them....ever!!"

Fantastic customer service, queried measurements which I had got wrong and kept me informed all the way from order to delivery. Only took 10 days to arrive, dress was absolutely gorgeous, fitted perfectly and she loved it. "

"I ordered a dress for my son's 18th Birthday Party which was to take place on the 20th August. I was assured when I made my order that the dress would be delivered by the 17th August. I was a little anxious about the fact that I would be receiving the dress just 3 days before the party but went along with it anyway. On the 16th August I had not heard from dresssespro to confirm my dress has been shipped out so I sent them an urgent email. I received a response on the 17th August to say that my dress was ready but wouldnt be delivered until 23rd August. As you can imagine I was abolsutely frantic as this would be too late. I now have just two days to go and find a dress!! There explanation was that they were experiencing problems at the factory but they failed to contact to tell me this and it was only addressed because I contacted them first. Definately would not recommend this company unless you give them at least a couple of months notice. But even so they should not tell you that they can deliver when really the can't!!!!"

"I live in South Africa and my daughter in the UK. I haven't seen her for a year so we decided to use dressespro for her first prom dress, to make it a special occassion. The order was placed in time and even received an email confirming that the order would be delivered in time. During the course of the following week I was informed that the dress could not be completed in time. Despite my pleas and a request to put a little more effort in to ensure timeous delivery, they have been adament and are not prepared to go a little further to honour their committment."

"i ordered my dress well in advance and after waiting about 6 weeks for it to arrive it does not fit. the bust is too small because they have put padding in it and the padding is above my breasts. the zip will not go up past my waist. despite the dress being totally unwearable they have asked me to go to a tailor to get it altered. there is no excess fabric so this could not possibly be done.
my prom is in a week and they are being reluctant to give me a refund so that i can find a dress that actually fits in time. i am really dissapointed with the dress and the correspondence of the company. i would not trust the company to make a dress that fits."
