"I ordered my dress from this website well in advance of my grad ball and as stated it did take 5 weeks to arrive. The dress I ordered was a beautiful red colour with very little detail on it. However when it arrived it was a horrible dark purple colour, the material was cheap and the size 10 i had ordered had the measurements of a size 16! It also had large pin holes down the front of the dress and the little gems that were suppose to be at the front were large hideous, cheap and plastic! on top of that they were uneven and in a wonky line! I was very upset as my ball is this week and after 4 days I still do not have a reply from the company about a refund. So overall I am out of pocket and now cannot afford another dress, this company has ruined my ball and is nothing but a scam! Please stay away or you will be disappointed and pennyless!!!!"

I got my dress and it is just awful, it look nothing like the picture, the stitching is messy and unfinished, it came in a package all like screwed up so it has lots of creases in it and the worst of it is the fact its about two fricking sizes too small! the zip doesnt even go half way up my back!

"Order this dress for my 21st Birthday party as I wanted something extra special for my big birthday bash somthing that no one else would possibly be wearing!
The dress arrived on monday and when I opened the bag I was very disappointed to find that I had been sent a Barbie Pink (fuscia) dress I had order a deeper colour called american beauty.
When I looked at the work on the dress the inside of the dress was still held together with tacks in the lining of the skirt the eye for the hook was missing and the zip is not very straight and the heavily sequined top on the neckline is minimal!
I have emailed them requesting a full refund and that they collect the item as I am not going to pay for something to be returned which is not my fault.
I am still waiting 24 hours later for a reply."

"I was reluctant to order a prom dress from this site as it was so far away as I live in the uk but decided to go with it as I am very small and it is hard to get dresses in my size so I thought I would be better to get it custom made. However I had to repeatedly send them e-mails weeks after my estimated arrival time and they just sent back to me that I should "take it easy" when I finally got my dress, it was the wrong colour, did not look like the dress that was advertised on the site and was way too big, which defeated the point of getting it custom made ! I have asked for their comments and a refund but they have ignored my e-mails.





Yesterday we received a refund of 35% of the cost of the dress to go towards the alterations needed.

"I ordered the dress in, what we believed was plenty of time, but it wasn't until the order the order was confirmed that they informed us about the lead in time for the dress. I emailed repeatedly to find out if the dress would arrive in time and eventually got a reply stating yes it would - take it easy! Last week I still hadnt received any dispatch and emailed again, several times until I got an answer stating the dress would be sent Friday... prom night. I called this morning and was told I would be getting an email in regard to delivery and after pushing they agreed it was unlikely that the dress would arrive by Friday. I have it in writing that we're getting a refund but I am not confident - I had it in writing that the dress would arrive on time! I wont be recommending them to anyone and their customer service did nothing to help the situation. Now I have 3 days to find a new dress!"

The dress was trackable right from china to my house, I even knew the approx time of delivery. When the dress arrived it is absolutely gorgeous and fits beautifully. I will be posting some photos of my daughter wearing it at her prom and definitely ordering from this company again. Dressespro is definitely a honest and reputable firm to deal with."

My daughter's prom dress was 2 weeks late. When it finally arrived it was the wrong colour and a terrible fit

I returned the dress to China where they insisted it was the colour ordered and the correct size (I have photos to prove otherwise). We then went through a long correspondence regarding a refund. I eventually agreed a value, but they still have not paid up.

Shocking service for a shoddy product. Ended up with a last minute trip to TKmaxx and got a lovely dress at a cheaper price."

Ordered my daughters prom dress February 6th (2011), received one e-mail to say that it would be here by mid-March, chased several times after it did not arrive, via e-mail and phone (with no reply), finally managed to do a "live" chat online with them early this morning to check where the dress is (today's date is 8th April) as her prom is next week. Now been told that the dress will not be ready in time and they will be cancelling the order - disgusted !

If they cannot make up the orders on time due to limited resources etc. they should limit how many orders they take !

Very, very disappointed - and I would urge any other person looking to order to think twice, it could ruin your special ocassion, as it has for my daughter ! I have never written a negative review for any online seller before (in the last 10 years of buying online), but feel strongly that no one else should be as disappointed as my daughter is !

I am only glad I paid for this via Paypal, as I do not hold out hope on getting my money refunded direct !

"Dress received!! We are really liking this dress!! The hem is short in the front, which we were not expecting because the picture did not show, but we are PLEASANTLY surprised....it looks great!! The fabric is excellent, very satiny, i love that the inside lining of the dress is a different color than the outside...gorgeous. "My dress arrived 42 days after ordering, which was a bit longer than they advertised. I gave my measurements instead of buying a standard size, but ordered in plenty of time. The dress is absolutely perfect and actually the photo online doesn't do it justice at all.
A lot of people thought I was mad ordering something from China, but I would DEFINITELY order from them again. When I e-mailed them, as I was getting worried it would not arrive on time, they e-mailed back within the hour to reassure me I would receive it in time for the function date. They send a tracking number so that you can keep up to date with the delivery process and when they say it takes 5 days for shipping...it does take 5 days.
I would recommend anyone to use this company if they are looking for beautiful, inexpensive dresses...just make sure you order in plenty of time! "

The dress is just as described and very well made and it arrived exactly 5 weeks from my initial order.
There have been many reports in the British media lately about unreliable Chinese dress companies - let me assure you this is not one of them. 3 weeks into the order I emailed them to ask when I could expect delivery and their reply was with me within 5 minutes !!
The dress also arrived a week before their estimate as well - very impressive !!! ( and that following all the problems with the volcanic ash recently)
