"My name is Gabriel DeRobertis; I’m a waiter here in Norcross Georgia. I went through a messy divorce which left my credit bleeding. My wife was giving custody of our daughter and I was told to pay for child support monthly. With my credit ruined and my low income, paying for child support was like a huge weight on me. CHEAP FURNITURE BAD COMPANY

"Purchased a couch about a month ago and just got it this week. When it came delivery people were cool but didn’t leave my house until after 1 am because they had to modify this poorly made couch!

We signed off on it out of compassion for the the guys that spent their time on it making sure we were happy with it but after they left my family and I sat down on it only to realize that there was no difference in comfort between this couch and the box it came in! Not to mention that it was small and we are no hobbits!
After calling Emma Mason, I spoke with an employee who kept letting me know that they stand by their return policy and they would not be giving me back anything but $700 or less if I sent the item back which was close to 2k. With the “white glove” delivery option.
She told me you agreed to the return policy at the time of purchase which is awefully convenient being that you haven’t seen the product yet.
They stand by lining their pockets more than they do making sure you are a satisfied customer probably because they know that they are selling bad products.

I would never recommend or buy from them again. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Go to Wayfair and get what you actually see with accurate measurements because the measurements for my couch was off by a lot!

Shop somewhere else

"Ordered a huge sectional and recliner from this company 3/19/2021. We didn't buy it locally because this one one of the few places that listed the exact set we wanted as "in stock" and didn't really want to wait for local places to receive the items then ship it. Shipping dates kept getting pushed back, we figured well, okay, COVID, shipping delays happen, etc... Today (4/5/22) we received yet another email that they expect shipping to be 5/20/22. I can under stand waiting a few months for delivery given the state of things all over the world right now, but 15+ months? Are we ever gonna see this furniture? I am started to suspect we got ripped off. They want 30% restocking fee (for something that very clearly WASNT in stock like they claimed) and prices have gone up so much that once they take their % we wouldn't be able to afford the set we had our hearts set on. Very disappointed with this whole ordeal. Save yourself a lot of hassle. Don't bother with this company or any of their other companies. You'll just be out 1000s of $ with no furniture. Run."

Not Happy

"To good to be true. Yes the prices are good. I was so happy to find these prices that I hurried up and ordered 3k worth of bar furniture. Then sometime in the middle of the night I just got worried. I woke up and started doing research on the company itself. I only found 5 star or 1 star reviews (what’s up with that). Anyhow it was enough to convince me to cancel my order, since my email said I had 24 hours. But before I contacted the company, I contacted my bank and did a stop payment (I was stupid enough to do a payment out of my checking account to get the extra $150 discount. Then I reached out to the company via email and phone call, to cancel my order.

I thought I was done. WRONG! I did all of this before 9am EST. I received a phone call later in the day, trying to pressure me to reconsider my purchase. I stood firm and said no. Then the next day I received a note from my bank that they (my bank) had to refuse payment based on my request for stop payment. This company still tried to get payment for an order that I by phone and writing cancelled within my 24 hour window.

So if you are considering a purchase from these people, don’t.

I went to Wayfair and purchased what I wanted, at least I know I will get the furniture and they have good customer service. And I’m getting my products within two weeks. This other company said it would be 8-10 weeks delivery. By the way the products are the same. Just more expensive, but I know I will have my furniture, so it will be worth it.

"I find it interesting and a bit suspicious that the positive reviews rave about customer service (hello walter and kate) yet none of them talk about their delivery experience or if the product is of quality. One even said they would review again when they received their order but they never did. This doesn’t give me confidence in ordering with their company and feels fake."

Ordered in 12/09/20 Just got my 6th Delivery Date of 11/5/21!!! THE FURNITURE WILL BE ANTIQUE WHEN IT COMES !!!

"I have no idea how they are an A+ with the BBB! I placed this order on 12/09/2020 almost 8 months ago. First I was told the furniture would be delivered in a couple of weeks then a couple of months. The most recent delivery date was 08/30/21 still no furniture but I have a new date 11/05/21. After complaining to the company several times they offered me a 5-year warranty on the furniture. It seemed like a great deal; However, a 5year warranty on no furniture is worth NOTHING! The furniture is listed "IN STOCK" and the price has gone up to $607 more than the day I placed my order. I can only assume that they can sell it for more; therefore, they decided to give me the run around until I purchase something else and, they save money on my purchase and the $500.00 warranty on NOTHING! Do not buy from this company

"Ordered in nov did not receive until 3 months later it was damaged when I got it they took the sofa did not get it back until June an the second sofa was damaged we want a full refund an they keep giving us the run around it’s crazy an they are very unprofessional this company is a joke we spent thousands of dollars an want a full refund an they keep giving us the run around"

Do NOT BUY from them

"Purchased on 12/18/2020 furniture they stated was in stock. Awaited weekly for calls to schedule. They charged whole purchase to my Credit card. Finally called and was told would be delivered February 11th 2/11/21 between 2:30 and 5:30. At 2:00 get a call stating cannot make delivery will redeliver in 2 to 3 days. After a week of not hearing from them called and they stated where working on redelivery. Continued to call and email and was told they where working on it. Not 3/1/2021 do they call to set up delivery on 3/2/2021 between 11am-2. Well on 3/1/2021 they call/email to reschedule for 3/3/2021. So wait around (taking off work each time) 3/3/2021 and around 4:00 get a call stating rescheduling for 3/4/2021. At this point I called and they guaranteed they would be there with my furniture. Well on 3/3/2021 at 5:58 I get a text stating cannot make delivery on 3/4/2021. Will get back with me when can deliver. I called and spoke again with Michael Alaba and he stated they could try to delivery Friday night 3/5/2021 between 6:00pm and 9:00pm. I said absolutely not. Want a full refund. They stated I will be charged 30% restocking and full Delivery charge. For something obviously they didn't ever have and for a Delivery they NEVER MADE! So working with Capital One to get full refund, along with Better Business Bureau.

TERRIBLE. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

"Website said in stock item with delivery end of November. I placed order in October, was told there would be a delay due to COVID. January 2021 was ETA. Was told again in November ETA February 4th 2021. Today was told 2 more weeks, manufacturer does not have the item. I called Ashley Furniture, local store and they have the item in stock and shipping to me in 1 week.

FRAUD at worst, false advertising at best.

Grace is there to fix everything.

"First of all, I lost the Flash Sale coupon code that popped up on my screen and so I pulled up the chat for help. Grace answered and gave me the code I needed-- no fuss, no muss. I hung up on her after thanking her. Next, I realized I'd have to pay for delivery to add some items to my bedroom set (I already ordered the beds and dressers last week) because I didn't hit the minimum requirement for free delivery with just these two nightstands. I pinged the chat, and Grace popped up to assist me again. She helped me add the nightstands to my previous order so that I could hit the minimum order threshold, AND she still let me have my Flash Sale discount! Grace also fixed the address because I'd made an error on that with my previous order. She was so patient, professional, and courteous-- even though I'm obviously something of an idiot, and it has to be frustrating dealing with customers like me who just keep pinging the chat and hanging up on the reps after they help me. She was wonderful the whole time. I will definitely be back to purchase from discountlivingrooms.com because I don't have to stress about what idiotic thing I might do when I'm ordering from this site-- Grace is there to fix everything."
