Bad customer service!

"I have been waiting for over 6 months for them to fix my online account. When I would try to login it would say my account didn't exist, but if I tried to register with my email address it would say it already existed. About a month ago they finally figured out the issue so I could login again, but now all my purchases have vanished. I was asked to send in all my information from said purchases, and they would be added again. Logged in today to find nothing in my order's section. I would avoid doing business with them on any front. I emailed them back asking if there was any progress, and the response I got was "we are still working on it.""

Digital purchases are great

"Avoid their physical CDs. Just buy digital copies and you'll get exactly what you expect - a quick and easy purchase with a follow-up email containing the download link. My Skyrim soundtrack was $15 and had over 50 tracks."

"Ordered the Guild Wars 2 soundtrack back in October of 2013, it is now March 7th of 2014 and I still haven't received them.

I put multiple tickets to their "customer service" site and even emailed them through Paypal and disputed the charges through Paypal and still nothing. They haven't even emailed me back but they sure were fast as hell when it came to taking my money. they stole from me, plain and simple.

"Ordered the Skyrim-score in February - seven months ago! - and payed immediately via Paypal. I waited six weeks and then contacted their support Center to ask how long it would take to get the CDs. After my third inquiry somebody wrote me, that it will take longer due to manufacturer´s delays.

And that was the only lifesign I got from the company. They ignored all my later inquiries. In the meantime I also wrote the Better Business Bureau: They also made an inquiry at DirectSong - without any response.

Regarding all the bad experiences people made with Directsong I´m wondering, if there isn´t a way for all those people to get their money back or to cause some serious trouble for the company. Has somebody considered to contact the police, where Directsong is based? Or would that be pointless?

"Ordered 5 elder scrolls 5 cd's and 3 prey 2 cd's. Charged my card fine. Never shipped the product. Have 2 seperate unresolved tickets with an unresponsive direct song support site from 2 months ago. The 4-6 weeks is so that if you do not get it by then, it's too late to file a paypal dispute. Be warned."

"I ordered the Skyrim OST back in May of this year, even though the website stated it would take 4-6 weeks to deliver. A bit excessive I thought, but I really wanted the physical package so I went ahead and ordered it.

Within 2 days, card approved appeared on my order details, and my card was duly debited for the amount.
Four weeks passed with me hearing nothing. I emailed their support desk and received a reply stating that it would be shipped within 5 days, and that I would get an email when it was.
Five days passed - nada.

I mailed their support again, and heard nothing back. I them waited until the six week period was up and then emailed again. No reply. This went on for another month or so until I eventually raised a claim with my credit card company (around the end of August), who quickly refunded my money and said they'd speak with DirectSong's bank.

Amazingly (or not), within a week of me opening a claim, my order updated on their website to 'shipped', and a week after that the OST dropped through my letter box.

To give DirectSong their dues, the CDs were very well packaged and I am delighted with them. It's signed by Jeremy Soule as promised in gold ink, the pack is fairly sturdy and the sound quality of the CDs is top notch.

Whether they only sent the CDs because my credit card company had words with their bank, or because it genuinely took this long to sort out the manufacturing and signing I really couldn't say, but I am now the happy owner of my order.

Based on other reviews though, I'd strongly recommend using a credit card rather than PayPal if you order. I did, and was able to file a claim after the 4-6 week period - thankfully!

"I DO NOT recommend buying from DirectSong at all.
It's been a year. A whole year since I ordered Skyrim's OST from them and never received anything. I even told Jeremy Soule about it, he told me to contact the customer service, which is a complete joke. You only get canned responses from a certain Carter Valendiano, who's either a bot or a guy taking great pleasure in scamming people. Haha. I don't know how much Jeremy Soule is involved in this business, but I'm really disappointed.

I opened a ticket on their support site, but I haven't had an answer since march.

I tried to appeal to Paypal but there's nothing I can do. Basically I'm screwed and out of $37.99.

"HALF A YEAR AND NOTHING
Well, that's 40$ down the drain. I keep leaving tickets on their support website, and then a month later I'll get a message saying something like 'sorry, we'll definitely contact you within 48 hours'. After that, no word for weeks. I've given up. NEVER buy from these guys. Ever.

"NEVER AGAIN!

Bought the Skyrim CD's at my first time. Never received them.
After 4 Months I asked for a money refund. Never received it.

The second time I bought the digital Download. Received the Mail with link very fast, but it was a blank mail due beeing in HTML which is not supported at all for Office, etc.
Sadly, the downloadlink was dead and I wasnt able to Download the Music. 10 Minutes later i contacted Paypal to stop the transaction. I received my money (for the Download) at the next day.

In my Eyes the shop is dead. The only thing working there is the support, writing the same Answer everytime again and again.
