"These guys are a fraud! I ordered one of their d7000 kits for 999 and received a 10% discount, a total order of $899.10
Since I was ordering internationally , I was asked to verify my order by calling them. I did. But then I was asked to pay for a battery and charger $149, which was not in the kit and to choose between a plastic and metallic body which would cost $99 if chose for metal.

After the call they charged my card 3 times. First with 1499 (which is not by far close to what I would have to pay if I took all mentioned options). Then they tried to charge me again with 999 and finally with $449. And when I look at my order in their website, i see the exact same items with a total price of 1499, which was not the case at time of ordering!

"These guys are scam artists. I would not do business with them. I ordered a Sony HDR AX2000. The customer service rep called me the next day and advised that it was only the body and they had a lens for $1400. I told them that I did not want the order because the lens was nondetachable on camera sites that I've visited. The rep then tells me it's a 15% restocking fee and they had not even shipped the item.

The rep then tells me he will send me a 8 hour camcorder battery since I was confused about the order. I get a tracking number and when I check online the idiot did not put my complete address on the order. I advised UPS of the correct address and never received the order. The tracking number advises that the battery was returned to the sender and will be sent at a later date. Still no battery. Do not do business with these people.

"What they do is get a package from Nikon take the battery and charger out, put in a poor ones then when they call you, up sell you to the upgraded professional grade and put back the nikon assessories for $300 dollars more. They talk they threaten they promise, ended up sending me bad memory cards so I stopped calling. This was so I would give them a good review.
They sent me a bad memory card I sent it back DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM THEY ARE CROOKED.
They advertise grey market cameras which are in foreign language and once you call they up sell you to US cameras at a much higher price. The memory cards are low grade and very expensive, go to ebay or amazon. Everything about them is bad. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up in jail at least that is where they belong. I was tempted to contact Attorney Generals in California and New York. They lie.
Buyer beware with these guys.

"This was my first purchase with digitaldepotonline.com and I was not sure what Nikon lens I wanted other than to replace the two I have been using. I have a D3100. So, I placed an on-line order for the new Nikon lens. Within minutes of my order I received a call from David Fuller, who asked a few questions about what I was trying to do. I explained myself and I asked him for his opinion and he asked me if he could make a suggestion. I said yes, he did say the Nikon I ordered was a good lens, however, because telephoto was important to me he told me about the Sigma lens. After the conversation, I realized that his recommendation was a better fit for me and changed my order to the Sigma lens and I added the filter kit as well. He said I would have the lens this week. So, today, Wednesday, I called to check on my order and spoke with Andrew Barnett, who confirmed my order and emailed me the new invoice. He also is making sure that I receive the lens by Friday. Both, David and Andrew provide me with great service and helped gain my confidence in placing this and future purchases with digitaldepotonline.com. I am looking forward to receiving my lens."

"Here's the thing. My first review was not positive at all. Then I was forced, in order to get a resolution, to change my review. In fact, They stayed on the line until it was changed & then the order was resolved. It has been a long road with them of deceiving and lies and here it goes. First when ordering I wasn't getting a huge deal. I was getting avg pricing as I was, or at least was told, I was purchasing a US camera..not China camera which by the way people is in Chinese (everything incl.writing on camera!So beware of those huge price discounts!) Finally I received my product, my Nikon D7000 & lenses I ordered and began questioning warranty stuff as there was NO cards included.They assured me everythg was fine &Nikon didn't do this. Just register I'd be fine. Found another issue and they had to resend lens as they swaped and baited out for a cheaper quality lens! That was another ordeal.Then they kept trying to upsell me etc. When I went to register camera w/Nikon I found that I could not do it and it was NOT under warranty as it was a greg market camera and would never be able to be serviced in the states & had to go to exact country it was purch from for serv & would take typically months for a repair or cleaning. Called DDO & kept telling me no & chged story again saying I'd send it to them for service.Then said they had agreement w/Nikon, then they chged story & said they had guy who worked for them. They are absolute crooks and the more people who know thebetter. They finally agreed on a return but in the meantime one employee told me to F---off.Supposedly fired yet he answered ph later in wk. 2 1/2 wks later, even after mgr confirmed he rec.equip via fdx 3 days after shipment I hadn't rec. refund.My bank finally got involved & they reimbursed me but still have not rec. monies as of yet either. This has been going on for months. STAY AWAY. They are crooks & not to be trusted. Unless you want a chinese camera or a Grey Market camera which are damaging the US economy, I'd stay clear of them as they give online shopping and internet a bad name. DDO you should be ashamed bullying people & taking advg. I have recordings of it all and recorded proof of it all so don't try to call me a liar or bully me off this ratings page. And Don't call me threatening me to take this review off this site. I won't and it's my right to leave it here.

"I ordered a digital Canon EOS Rebel T3i online and upon calling and confirming my order I was informed it was import model. I grreatly appreciated the service rep cancelling my order as I would not be able to understand the forgein language on camera. The rep was extreamly helpful and patient with me as I called 3 times to understand it all. Over all if camera itself would have been in English i would have kept my order. Great customer service. Thank you for saving me from wrong purchase"
