"Cycle Gear in San Jose offered me a great experience. I am very new to the motorcycle scene, but they were very friendly and approachable, and not to the point that made my shopping experience overwhelming, or like I had all this pressure to purchase something. I first called in to ask if they had a few specific products in stock, they answered the phone almost immediately and quickly came back with their answers. When I went into the shop itself, they were very helpful and friendly in helping me pick out the right motorcycle helmet for me. Chris spent about an hour with my boyfriend and I, trying on helmets, asking me questions about comfortability, and talking to my boyfriend about all their past and present bikes. It was very enjoyable and casual, and at the end he asked when I was going to start riding, as opposed to being just passenger. He informed us he teaches classes for motorcycle certification, and told us the next few weekend dates he had available. He definitely made our experience worthwhile, and I definitely feel more inclined to learn how to ride a motorcycle myself, which was not my original intention when I went in. Overall a great experience, and definitely will go back."

"I called ahead to ensure certain items would be there to try on because i live an hour away. Got there and they didnt have any of them. Which was the whole point of the trip. People make mistakes but the whole time kept trying to get help looking for said items. Kept getting brushed off. In the end this place wasn't worth the trip. Won't be going back. "
