I was a bit disappointed with the selection of simple, soft-knuckle, short-cuffed, street riding gloves. I only found one option, and even those had a bit of knuckle-hardener in them. Maybe I'm just in the minority with my preferences, but I just want cushioned, leather-palmed mesh gloves with short cuffs and no extra knuckle armor."
