"Like everyone else, I had a terrible experience with the site and with Melissa Bright, the customer service representative. They sent me a different version of the product I purchased, claimed it was the same, and offered no recourse when I told them this. They simply didn't care at all."

"Melissa Bright, the customer service team rep, is a flat-out liar. She had us follow explicit instructions to send back unopened compression socks and we followed them meticulously. The liars never sent a refund. The socks themselves **** as they have weak compression. We didn't try to send back the opened pair, we simply tossed them in the trash. Avoid compressionsale.com!"

"To return a product is a nightmare! Customer pays postage to return. You must pay 25% processing fee to get a refund! If you are given a credit to use later a fee is deducted from your credit. You can spend almost as much trying to return the product as you paid for it. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! BAD BUSINESS!"

"DISHONEST SCAM COMPANY!

"Should be a 0 rating! Customer service is very bad. No compassion at all. When buying( we ordered over the phone) these socks for my Elderly father nobody told us of the return policy. The stockings were Cheaply Made, No Elastic at the knee to hold stocking up and not worth the money you spend. When you return you have to pay a 25% restocking fee. That's absolutely ridiculous. Why even buy them?? Cheap,not made well and customer service is HORRIBLE!! Do Not Buy!"

No customer Service - awful awful beware

"Paid for rush shipping; compression stockings got delivered 5 days late. Surgery is already scary enough, but to have something required to keep you from having a stroke during and after surgery to not even arrive....This company has no right doing business as they do not have any customer service skills. No apologies, no way of feeling empathetic. I would expect for them to update their delivery windows to reflect that actual delivery schedule or start providing refunds. I hope this company goes out of business!"

Disappointed

"This is a horrible site. I purchased 2 pair of compression pantyhose stockings for $97.17, They did not fit, could not even get them over my feet. I went on line to request to return them and credit my credit card. They emailed back saying my order did qualify for an exchange or a store credit. I went back onto the site but could not find anything I could purchase so I called and asked to please get a credit back to my card. The customer service person was totally cold and disinterested and said because these stockings were considered "medical" they would not credit my card but I did "qualify" for a store credit or exchange. Interesting that they will take the stockings back (which they did) for an exchange. So now they have the stockings and my money!! Stay away from this site it is a total rip off, I found another site that allows returns and return of your money if not totally satisfied, I have been doing business with them and am completely satisfied. "

Size Chart is WRONG! They charge A LOT for returns and exchanges

"TERRIBLE customer service and return/exchange policy! They offer free shipping then make you pay if the size (according to their chart) is wrong. You have to pay your own return shipping plus a charge to ship them back to you. BEWARE this company has no sense of customer service and takes no responsibility for wrong sizing charts on their website!"

Slow shipment; no customer notification about delays; abusive return policy

"Well, it is hard to say anything nice about this outfit. In my case, I ordered a compression product and waited, and waited. Upon my inquiry, a customer service person responded that the item was out of stock. The software did not know this when I placed the order? Really, in 2020? I requested to cancel the order, but that was ignored. Finally, I received the item 5 weeks after shipment, long after I no longer needed it. As per compressionsale's policy, they only issue only store credit. How cheesy can you get? They did send the item, so there is no fraud involved, but this is an unpleasant vendor. For compression products, go to Ames Walker, the real professionals. "

NO REGARD FOR THE CUSTOMER. BULLY OPERATION!

"Just wrote this to the company after they refuse to refund me over $200 in products that are still in their package within 10 days of receiving. I was released by my doctor and told I didn't need to wear compression hose as he once thought. NEVER WORN, NEVER OPENED!


Melissa, I will pay for the shipping charges, that is not a problem. I do take exception, however, to an Exchange/Store Credit as there is nothing in your store I need. My condition was a syndrome called May Thurner’s and has been corrected. I bought thinking I was going to have to wear compression hose for two months. As of yesterday, I was released by the doctor. I was out of town all last week and when I returned, the items were in my mailbox. The items are still in YOUR original packaging and have not been opened! Both items are over $100 and I CAN NOT afford to lose this money!!! Your policy is actually one of the WORST!!!! Has your company looked at the reviews on this website https://www.resellerratings.com/store/compressionsale ? I wish I had, because your customer service has HORRIBLE reviews. Why is that OK? I sure wish I would have read it before I ordered, in good faith, from you! I too will be writing a review! At some point you may want to revise your policy to make it about your customer’s; upgrade your standards, and do the right thing vs. taking advantage and being a bully company! For your leisurely reading, here are a few reviews in case you don’t take the time to investigate yourself:

NEVER AGAIN!!!
"I have ordered from Compression sale for the last two years and never had any issues. Then they put the compression socks that I normally order on sale so I ordered 3 pair. When the package arrived there was some type of robe in the package that I didn't order. When I contacted them about this they said they were not responsible for the order after it has been shipped and they were not going to do anything about it. I told them never again! Don't order from these people they will eventually steal your money! You can get everything they sell on Amazon for the same price or even cheaper. shame on you people for stealing almost $100.00 from me!"

Bad Fraudulent Company
"Just the facts: Ordered one product received another. It was a knee sleeve, The substitute that was sent was not acceptable. It is not neoprene. It has no knee articulation. It is shorter. It is of lesser quality. It is made by a different company. The original item is still on their website. There was no notification when ordered. The packing slip even shows what I ordered, not what actually was sent. I sent photos. I have to send the incorrect items back and pay for the shipping. They will not refund me for the incorrect items nor the shipping. They will only give me a store credit, which I will never use. I was offered a substitute to the substitute. Told it was sent. Not received. Then on backorder. Phone calls not answered. This should be illegal. I dealt with them in good faith."

Worst customer service I've ever encountered
"Ordered stockings to wear post vein surgery. I found a pair in person and tried to cancel my order. No response. Tried to get shipping information. No response. More than two weeks later, the stockings arrived--AFTER my surgery. They aren't taking any responsibility for sending the stockings late. Won't offer a refund. I will dispute with my credit card company. All of the reviews on their site are obviously fake. This company should be reporter to the Better Business Bureau. In fact, I'll do that next."

None of that is OK!! I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, because your company is SHAMEFUL!

Terrible Return Policies

"If customer wants to return a pair of socks and obtain a refund, they say it can be done if the socks haven't been tried on and they receive the returned item within 15 days of when the order was placed. Well according to their website, it takes 4 to 7 business days to receive an order, and if you request a return, they well provide the return instruction within three days of when the request is submitted. So that being the case, if it takes 4 to 7 business days to ship the item back, all told, the process could easily take more than 15 days, in which case you cannot get a refund. But that's no reason to sweat because they have a caveat that says you cannot receive a refund (only exchanges) for certain brands. Then they go on to list just about every brand they carry. With respect to exchanges, if you qualify, it maybe hardly worth it. Not only do you have to pay to ship the item back, but they also charge a 25% processing fee and $6.95 to reship.

Anyone that buys here, particularly if ordering a brand or specific sock you aren't familiar with, it behooves you to read the company's return policy first. That way you'll know what you are getting into in the event you may wish to return your purchase for whatever the reason.

Poor business practice, anti customer

"I ordered 4 knee sleeves for my daughter. In the website they were advertised as the FLA orthopedics SAFE-T-SPORT variety. I was shipped 4 Actimove sleeves that actually hurt my daughter's knee. I reached out to get a return label based on misleading information on the website and they falsely claimed that it was stated that the Actimove sleeve had substituted for the SAFE-T-SPORT sleeve. I wrote back with the exact wording on the website and nowhere on there was what they had stated. They denied me a refund and a return label and said that I need to pay to return these items. This is awful business practice and I will do my best to post this negative review on all the business review sites that I can find.
They are rated F by the BBB and at least a few other customers have filed similar complaints.
