"The comments below are by an employee that was fired for working one hour a day and making almost 40 grand a year when we found out that was the case we fired Leandro Cabo is his name he wants money or he will bad mouth us instead of being grateful for making 40-50 grand a year for 7 years for doing nothing he made up the story below he was working at his house for 7 years and is upset because he now has to work like the rest of us our company and our reputation for 20 years are all 4-5 star rated so understand that the victims here are us we have over 50,000 satisfied customers and will last through any mad employee because we do a great job and will always make sure our customers are taken care of "
"This company goes by many aliases such as Cal Direct Lighting, So Cal Lighting, Cal 2 Coast Lighting, C2Clights. The owner of this place is Hany "Mike" Hanna. Let's start off by saying that this guy was my internet marketing client for many years. I'm and independent contractor, but I did get to see the inner working of this company and I'm here to tell you all about it.
This company employs two other people aside from "Mike", one is their web guy and the other does warehouse work. They both, along with Mike, double up as salesmen/support/you name it. They often change their voices or names on the fly to make it seem like more people work there or to avoid continuing previous conversations.
They claim their products are made in the USA, but from the numerous times I've been in the warehouse, as well as conversations I've overheard, I can tell you without a fathom of a doubt that almost every product on this web site is a piece of junk that is made in China.
They seem to hate being on the phone with customers, often insulting them the moment they hang. I've heard many racist remarks and curses. They deliberately screw customers over all the time. I've told them before to go easier on customers but they don't seem to care. The company is all about fleecing anyone who orders their Chinese lights.
Don't be fooled by their website and the stuff they tell you about high quality this, and lowest prices that and made in the USA and blah blah blah. It's all lies. Three guys working out of a small warehouse that may as well be a glorified garage, full of cheap Chinese lights, and with no intention of 1) giving you a good deal, 2) making sure you are happy, 3) ensuring you get a quality product.
Avoid Cal Direct Lighting, So Cal Lighting, Cal 2 Coast Lighting, C2C lights, and whatever other copy/paste duplicate web sites they keep spitting up. Do a google search for some of them and check out the ripoff reports, those people are NOT lying!"
