New ownership awful, not the same place as before

"New owners did not honor gift cards from prior owners. No refunds were granted for the bad gift cards purchased before the holiday season 2020 - only coupons for future orders. This is not the same company, it's greedy new owners that only bought the name out of bankruptcy"

"I ordered 3 tops February 2021.
One top was too big.
I immediately returned it.
I am still waiting for a refund 4 months later.
Every time I call, I get the same story.
The refund is coming.

"They charge shipping when they send you the product and shipping if you have to return the product. I spent $30 for shipping and have no product!"

TERRIBLE... LIKE SO MANY OTHERS ARE SAYING

"I ordered 3 item on March 27th. They JUST ARRIVED YESTERDAY. 5 WEEKS WAITING! 1 item just needs a different size. (Even exchange). They long delays make it risky to arrive on time for vacation. I ordered a new size today at only 25% off vs. the 40% i originally got. figured I’d send back, or store exchange, the wrong size. I called today, was on hold for 40 minutes then had Lousy customer service. They won’t honor the price to even exchange and further wants me to pay the shipping back!!!

With NO stores in NYS any more, I’m done with them. Unless they start offering free shipping back. They’ll be out of business asap with service and policies like this!

Poor Quality Blouses

"I purchased a blouse online on February 17 (2 months ago - but shipped Feb 28) and it has a hole in it already. Printed Clip Dot Blouse Item #: ***-***-****. I also purchased a different top in January in the store and it got a hole in it in less than 2 months as well. I thought the first one was a fluke, but 2 tops with holes generally in the same place after only 2 months? Very disappointing. Other items I have purchased (skirts and sweaters) seem to be okay."

Don't Bother

"Ordered clothing on 3/29/21. After two week of hearing nothing, I called Customer Service and was told my order would be shipped within the next day or two. After another two weeks without receiving my order, I again called Customer Service as the status of my order continued to say order processing. This time the rep said, surprise, the order was being processed. I told her that was unacceptable and to cancel my order. She said that because it was being processed, I couldn't cancel. It is now 4/28/21 and my order is still listed as being processed. The only saving grace is that I haven't been charged for this order yet."

Can't get my return credit

"I sent returns back with tracking number following all their guidelines. Have called five times with acknowledged receipt of my returns and two promised return calls. To no avail!
A month later I have still not been credited my returns!
I loved their merchandise. In the past, but will NEVER, shop their on line stores again!

I'd Leave Zero Stars if I Could!

"I ordered three items three weeks ago, and one never arrived. It was a gift. I just finished chatting with C & B support, and they said the item was canceled due to unavailability. They should have been able to keep better track of their inventory. Worse yet, they never bothered to let me know. I had to ask about it multiple times. In fact, it's still showing 'pending' in my account. I doubt if I EVER buy from them again, especially when I need a gift. I've been shopping online for many years, and I've never had such terrible service. "

Tricky return policy

I drove to the store to another state because there is no one in mine, but by the new return policy I couldn't make a return in a store and need to pay for shippment again to return by mail.

Excellent service

"I have shopped at store location of 04355, Dublin Ohio for years as welk as do volunteer work for them with style shows and such. Have shopped there for years, have been very pleased with selections purchased. The store manager and sales employees are friendly and helpful. I have also shopped at other locations while on vacation trips and been satisfied. The local store I shop at, I have always been satisfied and delighted with purchases. The store employees are friendly and accommodating. I recommend if in this area to stop in this store location and enjoy personnel and professional assistance for your wardrobe needs. "

Beware of 'free shipping'

"I was excited to find C&B on line because I live in Hawaii now. I purchased 3 items on Oct1,2020 (with free shipping). I know that living in Hawaii can increase shipping times with some companies, but this is ridiculous. I have been tracking the package across the United States, and the expected delivery time kept slipping further out. Today I got a request from C&B to review the items I had received. No, no...can't do it...nothing received yet.. Now my expected delivery is Nov12,2020...and I can't rely on that. So, I am not a happy camper. I get better and faster shipping from Asia. So, if you live in Hawaii, expected long, long shipping times (on the free shipping offer)."

"I ordered several 3/4 sleeve T shirts, all cotton, for a great price. They came quickly - but they were obviously used! They all smelled of perfume and one smelled of body odor too. Yech! Never again."

Returns take forevvvvveeerrrr

"I ordered 4 items on 5.27.2020, received them on 6.06.2020 and returned 3 of the items on 6.08.2020 as they were way too big. If their size charts were accurate I would not have had to return the items. Sizes are at least 2 sizes larger than stated so order down not up. The clothes were nice, nothing wrong with the quality. The refund however, I am still waiting for on 7.17.2020 after having been told twice that I would receive the refund in 2-3 business days. The first customer service agent failed to submit the refund request according to the second agent I spoke with. Also be aware you pay for your own returns (it is stated on the website). I hope this helps and happy shopping!"

Refunds Take Forever

"Returned online purchase and still don't have refund. I have proof of delivery from USPS along with date. Kimberly and Gerald keep giving me the run around although they do not dispute receipt of return. Even in the chat the date that I expect refund changes; it's always "5 day delay". As this started 6/6/20, I think it's been more than 5 days. "

Horrible service

"Ordered merchandise supposed in stock. Credit card was billed but 7 days later no merchandise. I used the Live Chat to find out if my order had shipped. They said the pandemic has interrupted shipping of their product. That may be but the 7 other online orders with other companies have arrived. I called customer service and they could not help me. Their computers were down. They said they could not credit my order because it had shipped. They did not know when it shipped or when it would arrive but assumed it shipped because my credit card was billed.
No offer to check on it and call me. Never received an email confirmation of anything.
