"I bought a Aurora casket price was 1590 I got billed 1875 on the first bill and was told to call when mom had died. I called when she died and I got another bill for 2881 dollars when the final amount was 3281dollars. The add said free overnight delivery* I found out to late what the * was, over 1400 for delivery. I got a casket which wasn't what I ordered. But it was to late to get another one and Todd said 35% restocking charge and return shipping charge. I do not know how they stay in business

I ordered casket for $990. They told me that shipping cost will be about $300 by air plus about $150 local delivery.
At the day of delivery nothing showed up. They refused to provide tracking and tried to charge me additional $1200.
Instead of $1400 estimated total somehow charges became $2180.
They send you small print after the fact.
When I requested for order to be canceled they stated that I will be charged cancelation fee plus restocking fee plus bunch of other fees, equaling to almost $1000.
So pretty much, they never shipped the order and charged me $1000 for cancelation.
I disputed the charge and will be making complaint with attorney general, because it appears to be that this is the scam that they are running. Good people trust them that what they tell you in the phone is true, however expect to pay 125% more if the quoted price.
The order might never arrive, and if you cancel it then they will charge about $1000 and You’ll get 0 product and bunch of headaches.

"Very shady practices; playing games with a 'telephone tag' method of dealing with customer issues, claiming to sell genuine product but passing off fakes to the customer, failing to honor their own overnight shipping, and tacking on hidden charges. From other reviews I would say this is not an isolated incident - they have a long history of doing same and worse to other customers.

We purchased a casket through their website for my deceased father who was to be laid to rest on Saturday, and we ordered on Tuesday of that week with assurance from 'Todd' the casket would be overnighted. It took almost 24 hours and several calls to the company to get an invoice. When we saw the charge on the card, it was for several hundred dollars more. Their explanation was packing and unpacking charges; neither of which was mentioned on the call when the order was placed.

The process to contact this company is to call them, talk to a phone operator, and eventually, someone will return your call. Good luck if you have an issue and need to speak with someone immediately.

The casket did not arrive Wed as promised, but late Thursday (after multiple angry calls to the company) and the casket was poor quality and was NOT the product or brand we ordered. There were numerous blemishes and cracks in the paint, and it almost appeared the casket was packaged before the paint was cured. The funeral home got involved and called the manufacturer, and provided evidence that this fraudulent company is purporting to be an authorized reseller (they are not), and they are selling an inferior product (FAKE!) and passing it off as the genuine article. My hopes are the casket manufacturer takes legal action against them for trying to pass off a cheap copy of their quality product. I plan to contact the other casket manufacturers they are supposedly a reseller for; I can only guess they are ripping them off as well. We captured proof (invoices, pics, video of fake product) of the ruse this company is trying to get away with, and we'll use that to ensure that the money is refunded. We did not accept delivery of the casket and ordered a new casket from the funeral home, who ordered us the correct model from the manufacturer, and they overnighted the casket.

That prompted someone from the casketsite to become VERY interested in speaking with us, but they repeatedly called from a 'restricted' number. When we asked for a callback number they refused to provide it. Their message was no need to involve others, we could work this out directly with them. When we informed them of the fact they shipped us a fake product (confirmed by the Funeral Directors and a rep from the company that supposedly manufactured the casket), they acted like we shouldn't take someone else's word for it. REALLY? The manufacturer had us get pics and video and confirmed it was not a casket they manufactured, and it was a very obvious and poor quality fake.

This company is preying on families in grief, and for that fact alone they should be run out of business. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission on this matter. This company does not deserve to remain in business, and the owners belong in jail...

"This was a fraudulent company and they caused me a high level of stress! I ordered a casket on Monday night expecting 24 Hour delivery. The casket arrived 90 minutes before my sisters scheduled viewing. It was a beautiful casket but not exactly what I ordered. Also Todd my point of contact was vague about shipping and delivery date/time . Would not provide me with any exact shipping information to keep me informed as the consumer. The night before delivery he called requesting I change the credit card from American Express to VISA. Shady business practices!!! Last minute sent a contract which I signed, (with conditions they would deliver on time) then they said they couldn't deliver in time for the funeral. "We spoke to an obvious homosexual named, "Todd" who would always return calls via a "Blocked Telephone Number". We first noticed a problem when Todd, with Casketsite.com delivered the wrong casket while double charging our credit card. When we called to complain about receiving the wrong casket, Todd, returning the call from a blocked number, said he would get the correct casket delivered and correct the double charge to our credit card. - Although, on the day of the funeral we did receive the correct casket and they took possession of the other casket we hadn't ordered, Todd never removed the double charge from our credit card and then would not return any calls about the matter. - There's a special place in hell for a guy like Todd who preys on families after the death of their loved ones. I would strongly encourage avoiding the company and Todd as they are completely unethical."

"I am writing this review to warn others to BE AWARE so you don't have to go through what I went through. The only reason that I outsource a casket from our funeral home was bc we were sending our beloved home to Vietnam to be buried. The cemetery there is a pre-cemented lock land, so the dimensions of the exterior casket had to be within those dimensions to fit.

Todd was the only person who I spoke to and he assured me Wednesday early morning that the dimensions would not be a problem and that the casket will be delivered by Friday early morning for the Wake service by noon.

Thursday, I had not received any invoice or word on the status of the casket. Considering the importance and urgency of the nature I followed up and once again Todd said everything is good to go, no worries. Just in case, I had our funeral director and Todd get in touch so that everyone of us in alignment for the process and service.

Friday morning, day of the Wake service, I received a message from my funeral director that Todd from casketsite call and told him they "couldn't make good for the casket, that he will be giving me a call." My funeral director had to rush order a casket last minute.

I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM TODD TO EXPLAIN WHY HIS WORD WAS NO GOOD.

At the Wake, we learned that the casket that Todd said he couldn't make good for should up after we laid our beloved to rest in the rush ordered casket. It was sent back IMMEDIATELY. I called Todd to make sure I wasn't charged for that.

Todd didn't even have the the courtesy to call and apologize or explain why he couldn't make good for the casket. Yet even more surprise and clueless that it did show up and was sent back. But as soon as he knew it did show up all he wanted to do was push for the casket to be use. I said no way we are moving our beloved already resting in peace within the hour of the Wake services. I told him its already done and I'm going to be focus with my family during this time of mourning. I just want to make sure he wasn't billing me for this. He said ok

I later received an invoice of almost $1300 from casketsite that evening. Todd end up still billing me.

I called to follow up with the refund and he asked me to email him. I emailed him everything that was discussed and handled in details. He NEVER responded. I kept following up, then he kept pushing it off. He NEVER took ownership or responsibility. He is unprofessional. I asked to speak to higher management and he said he's part of the owner so there's no on else I can speak to. He continued to push me off and is avoiding my calls

"My family's experience with Casketsite.com has been HORRIBLE! We were DOUBLE charged. It is ALMOST impossible to reach Todd once you have placed an order. He is a good talker and convinces you that you are getting a GOOD deal but you are not! Local funeral homes carry the basic caskets so please check with the funeral homes. Save your family the from the unnecessary pain. I wish we had checked with the funeral home and we would not be now fighting to not pay extra money. All the EXTRA fees that were added are ridiculous. What a RIPOFF. We were taken advantage of at a time of mourning. We never received requested invoices. I know we have been defrauded!!! Do not be FOOLED like we were. Do not use this service. "I can't Thank you enough for helping my family and I get through a very difficult time. The kindness, understanding and assistance you gave us was greatly appreciated. The casket was absolutely beautiful. I know we would have spent thousands more had we purchased it from the funeral home. I was so thankful that you mentioned the vault because I would have forgotten to order it from you and would have been forced to purchase it from the funeral home. The funeral home said that other folks had purchased their own caskets before but they were quick to advise that we "Were the first" to get the vault somewhere else.. They were also very quick to tell us that it was our responsibility to make sure that everything was coordinated at the cemetery site and they would have nothing to do with anything that happened. I must admit that I was a little nervous, but everything went very smoothly, you took care of everything and I had absolutely nothing to do and no worries with anything at the grave site. I think the funeral home was not happy with us, we cut into their profits but I could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out. The fact that your caskets are made in the USA was a big plus for us. We had been told horror stories of the Made in China caskets where bodies fell out during transport from funeral home, to church, to grave site because the handles fell off.
