Feeding on the dead!

"My experience with this "company" is nightmarish. The owner Todd preys on suffering people trying to bury their loved ones. He takes advantage of the situation, takes money and refuses to correct errors and demands that he is entitled to it, as a spider drinks the life from any hapless insect that falls into its trap. Look him up, Todd Bianci of casketsite. Com.

"The casket and vault I ordered for my mother's funeral were beautifully crafted and delivered in a very timely manner. My sisters and I knew my mother would have been very pleased with our choices. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable. Not only did you know the answers to my questions, but didn't treat me as if I was the millionth customer to ask them. "Please see the review above; The same exact circumstances for me. I ordered a casket that was listed 1290.00 online, agreed to an expedited shipping of 400.00 (included base shipping cost). Todd charged my credit card 2375.57. He could not send me an itemized receipt nor give me any details on the transaction. I ordered the casket at 2:00p 10/22 and spoke with him 10A next day. I then told him to cancel the order. He then said it was on its way and i cant just willy nilly order caskets and cancel them!! I only asked for the breakdown of what he was charging me. How can he hold me to the language on the website for 35% cancel fee when i cannot hold him to 1290.00 on the website casket price?? of course we are disputing his charges on the credit card."

"I ordered a casket for my mom in April,2013. I would do it again. The gentleman I spoke with was very very patient and answered all my questions at this difficult time. The casket was delivered on time and my family saved approximately $500.00. I highly recommend Casket Site. com."

"Beware anyone thinking about using Caskets.com. Todd is the rudest, unprofessional and heartless salesperson I have ever dealt with. I contacted him on a Sunday about ordering a casket for my mother that had just pasted away. I didn't have any computer access where I was at so I had a lot of questions on charges and the product. He was very vague on answering any questions on the prices in case we needed here for Tuesday. I told him I would call him back on Monday when I meet with the funeral director and find out more about the time of when the funeral service would be. He said just make sure I call before 2 pm. I called him at 12:38 pm central time and told him we didn't need a rush nor the embroidered headliner. He told me he wasn't sure if he could get the headliner canceled and I said what about the rush fee we don't need it until noon on Wednesday so there shouldn't be a rush charge. Well I don't know if I can get it credited he said. I told him I called him before 2pm and there was no excused why he couldn't take care of that. Well mam it is an hour ahead in Florida he said. So there is nowhere in the U.S. that it is 2pm when it is 12:38 Central time.
He had already charged my credit card and I was getting upset with him when I got a charge over $2600 when the casket was $1980. I called and asked what all the extra charge was he said go on line and check it out I sent you an email. Like I tried to tell him I didn't have computer access and there was no excuse why he couldn't give me a breakdown of charges over the phone. There was about $300 for shipping, $75 rush fee, tax and some other charge I asked him what it was for. He said for using the credit card. I told him he couldn't charge me extra for using the credit card it was against the law in Texas. Well I am in Colorado he said. Colorado is one of the 10 states that it is against the law to charge extra to use a credit card. When I started calling him out on charges he became an ass. He told me I was the most difficult person he had ever dealt with and he should just cancel the order and I will be charged the 35% cancelation fee. Well we started going at it.
Wednesday the day of the funeral the services were at 2:30 pm and at 11:20 the funeral director started calling him where is the casket since it had been ordered for 3 days and it was only coming 3 1/2 hours away. He wouldn't give the director the phone number to the driver and said he would call back with more info. He never did call back and straight up noon here comes the casket from UPS.
I have checked my emails after I got back I never did get the email that he said he sent with the itemized breakdown but I did get the one with the complete total. Seems strange one can come through but the one I really need failed because he didn't send it. I have since sent several emails and have called for an itemized statement he will not provide it. I have opened a dispute with the credit card company concerning the rush charge and extra charge for using a credit card. It has been two weeks now still no reply from Todd or anyone else concerning the itemized statement. Come to find out I could of gotten a same gauge casket for $400 less at the funeral home and no hassle. This company is not forthright and very sneaky so beware because you will have nothing but trouble.
