"OMG!!!!!!! SCAMMERS!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! they emailed me to call and confirm my order, when I did the guy Michael did everything in his power to convince me to buy a different camera from the one I originally ordered on the internet. After 23min of hearing him babble about other equipment being a better deal, I asked him to give me a rundown of the equipment included in my video camera package, he then put me on hold and never came back, I hung up, and immediatly called my credit card company to cancel my card! I think he didnt have my original order and wanted to buy some other crap he did have in stock! he was even becoming irritated when I refused to purchase other camera equipment! I dont think they have 1/2 the equipment people order so they rely on their "dirty used car salesmen" techniques to try and wheel people into buying other equipment!!!!"

"DON'T BUY! I ordered a camera at a real good price and after I ordered it they sent me an email saying I needed to call to confirm order. When I called they said the camera did not come with a battery and other stuff and I needed to buy it. I asked them to email the info on all the equipment they say I needed. The salesman would not! He said that he just explained it to me and I didn't need the email! I told him I'm not gonna purchase anything else without info on it! He that said are you arguing with me? And I said I just want the info! I told hm to cancel my order and kiss my ass! I called my credit card co. Right after to make sure the order did not go thru. They post a lot of good deals that they try to up sell on everything! Stay away! Cliff"

"This company is a scam: a Bait & Switch operation. I ordered a Canon EX430ii SpeedLite and charged to AMEX. Got a notice to please call. When I called they said AMEX is not accepted (why does the website allow to select it?). "What do you want to use the EX430ii for? ... No, the advertized $189 is for the version compatible with 35mm film cameras only. For digital cameras it's $289". When I called a 2nd time, same story. Called Canon Product Support: they confirmed that I was lied to. The EX430ii is compatible with diital cameras. Buyherephoto.com: Rude. Arrogant. Dishonest."

"Called them today. Put on hold twice then disconnected. Called back. Switched to three people the last one told me he'd be "right with me" then put me on hold for about 10 minutes. He then came on and said he'd be right with me again and again put me on hold. After about 10 more minutes he came on the line and I inquired about the Canon EOS 60D advertised on their website. It turns out that the battery and charger that the add says come with the camera are only a "demo version" so I would need to buy an upgrade if I wanted a battery that lasts more than about 20 minutes. This seems to be a typical scam with these low price websites.

I actually purchased an EOS 60D from PhotoVideoSuperStore.com yesterday and was called last night by them and informed that that camera did not come with a battery or charger at all! But, of course, I could buy both from them for a small fortune. I cancelled my order on the spot. I think that I will change my credit card number that I gave them just to be safe.

"First called, and spoke to Pete. RUDE,RUDE,RUDE. Told me they DO NOT accept "cashiers check for full amount" Called back spoke with Nick.....said they would accept a cashiers check..HMMM!. Wanted to buy a Canon 7D. Was immediately told "we get a lot of returns on that item. Most people can't take 1 good picture, let alone 8 per sec. So, you end up with 8 bad pics. You need a T3i, with a flip screen for video.(sorry, but who asked for his opinion) with our Pro series lens. we can give it to you at wholesale for $1199. The other lens are cheap, and we get a lot of returns on those. The Pro series is the only way to go"!
Complete "bait-switch". For those who are even considering....they are scammers, and would recommend you buy elsewhere. I did! B&H...compare the ratings and you'll see why!

"These guys are a rip-off not to mention they're crap attitude. Ordered a Nikon D5100 w/USA Warranty. When I called the next day they tell me it's some imported piece of crap and it comes with no battery. Nothing is mentioned about any of this when you look at the product at their site before purchasing. By the time you add in the charger and battery plus what you were supposed to have gotten with the camera you can buy it anywhere for the same price."

"WARNING - HORRIBLE - LOTS of problems. Purchased a Nikon D5100 package online. They offered best price by $100. After punching in info and confirming my purchase, it gives me a webpage. "Order confirmed, #xxxxx". That was it. No receipt of my purchase, no way for me to have a record of how much I paid, and precisely what I ordered. An email arrived minutes later, with same info, only that order is confirmed with number. I sent email requesting that receipt, no response to that email. Next day I got an email from them that said "contact us, we need more information." I contact them, after waiting on hold for 30 mins, get a person. They said they needed CVV number (why was it not on website when I ordered?). Then they tried to upsell me on a battery, saying it wasn't included in the package. And they wanted to charge $149 for a battery. I said I need to research that. They said "call back when you know, order is on hold" and hung up on me. The operator was quite rude and impatient during the call. I do my research, learn I can get same battery for $40 elsewhere. So I call back ... another 30 min hold, they forward me to the person ... voice mail. Only good thing is it mentioned extension number, so I was able to bypass hold next time. I left a voice mail, but 4 hours later after no response, I called again, using the extension. Spoke to what seems like same rude person. I told him I didn't want the battery. Then I asked again for the receipt for my purchase per my email. His response … “We get too much email, we don’t read it.” HUH? And also only THEN did he say, "you do know camera is not in stock, 6 to 8 weeks delivery." NO I DID NOT KNOW THAT! Website said 24 hr delivery, and I even paid for expedited delivery to get it before Christmas (which was 3 weeks away, but standard shipping was 4 weeks so I did not want to take a chance.) I said that is not acceptable. So in his rude voice, he says, "Your order is cancelled. Good Bye." And hung up again. I'll of course be monitoring my credit card and if purchase shows up, putting a STOP on it immediately. One of my worst experiences ever with an online reseller. Very disappointed that there really good price was too good to be true ($579, for what I can only get for $849 or more at other websites). But glad the order is cancelled and I don’t have to deal with them again."

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE
My son in law and myself ordered my daughter a camera from this site and it was exactly as the other stories have said. We ordered a D300s and the salesman calls to offer my son in law an upgrade. The upgrade was a D5100 that we could have gotten for half the cost. My daughter called them back to ask for an exchange for the other camera. She spoke with Alex who began telling her that they camera she got was so much better and that the one that was originally ordered was not a US camera. She told him that she wanted the other camera. He just keep saying that she needed the other camera it was such a better deal. He then told her that she could return it but she would have to pay a restocking fee and pay the shipping. I then called and Alex gives me the same line, i told him that their website was misleading because it did not reflect that the cameras were not US cameras. He just keep going on and on, and finally offered a battery pack, that he stated was worth $300 but turns on it wasn't worth that at all. We feel like victims of this company, my daughter and her husband are on a limited budget and saved for along time to buy her this camera with our help, how sad that they can continue to cheat people and no one can do anything to stop it.

"I am not sure about the other reviews but I had an excellent experience with my order. I purchased a 70-300mm lens for my Canon T2i. I received the lens the next day after the order was placed. I did have number of questions about the order and was helped by a salesperson named Nick. He patiently answered all of my questions and addressed any concern I had. He also added a 5 year warranty for the lens, due to this being my first purchase with buyherephoto.com. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase any camera equipment. "

"Order placed 9-6-11 for one Canon 5d MarkII Camera body only for $1369. Received an email back acknowledging the order with an order number paying with Amex.

Received an email 9-9-11 from Buyherephoto requesting I call them. On doing so, I was informed that they can't take Amex due to their Amex terminal not working. Told VISA or Mastercard are taken, I responded with a cancellation of the order as only Amex has the consumer protection I trust.

I formerly was a retailer before becoming an attorney and know Amex uses the same card terminal as VISA/Mastercard.

I cancelled the order as it was apparent they had no intention of filling the order as placed and all the negative prior reviews by end-users are clearly on point.

Conclusion: Do not waste time here. Pay the extra bucks and get your item without headaches.

Next day received an email to call them to confirm, which I did, and was once again assured that item was in stock. "These guys are scam artists,Prices are so good to be true and it is not. I order same item which was CANON T3i twice, They sent me email saying " you need to call us, we need to confirm your order" I called them up, this guy keep saying i can not hear you blah blah, He has tendency to offer something else. he said we do not have this item in stock and we will cancel your order. I said OK, he waited expecting i will say something. We hang up. I made another order again for the same item online. I called them up straight right after order. He answers and hangs up on me, They know now I am annoyance now, next called nobody answers, . STAY AWAY. Amazon.com has one of the best prices around, if you can find little cheaper than them go for it. "

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! As others have written, their scheme is upcharging your original order when you call back as requested in their confirmation e-mail. My order of a "special package" at a great price arrived yesterday. Seller "Pete" had talked me into the "special package" that was going to save me hundreds. All I originally wanted was a Canon EOS 60D body, but was told that my online order was not for the U.S. model. Does it state that on their website. No. So, he kept adding and adding items (U.S. model of the body, extra 5-hour battery pack, 2 4GB high speed memory cards, a rolling aluminum hard case, screen protectors, a 5-year protection plan, plus free 3-day UPS shipping). My credit card was charged $1,698. Going back to their website today I added up all of the items at the stated "regular" price and it came to $1,718.97. Some bargain I received, right? A call to Supervisor of Sales Brad Jennings to request a return authorization ended with a demand for a 13 percent restocking fee, plus no credit for the "non-refundable" protection plan. Mr. Jennings, by the way, insisted that he has no superior at this company when I requested to talk to his boss. Right. They could have gained a customer and a high rating by merely being honest and ethical. When I indicated that my next call was going to be the New York attorney general's office, he said "go ahead." OK. Game on. This company has not yet heard the last from me. DO NOT BUY FROM BUYHEREPHOTO.COM. "

"THIS COMANY SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS! WHILE THEIR BEHAVIOR IS PROBABLY NOT ILLEGAL, IT IS (IMO) HIGHLY UNETHICAL!!!

After reading the reviews, I saw that they had a Nikon D3s on sale for $3,900. The ad stated on the headline that the D3s had a "USA Warranty." In the specifications, a "1 year manufacturers warranty" was listed. The standard Nikon USA warranty is 1 year. Seems legit so far, right?

The next day, I get a call to confirm (I was actually expecting this). The person on the other end attempted to talk me into buying the D700, stating that they had been getting, "a lot of returns" on the D3s. I replied that I was not concerned because the camera had Nikon's 1 year USA warranty. That's when the bells started to clang.

"Well, sir, our cameras come with either a manufacturers or company warranty. Why did you decide on the import warranty?"
I immediately asked him to cancel the order, and after a thirty second pause, he informed me that the order was cancelled.
