Although their original offer was slightly less than a competitor I have used in the past, that competitor now has a Grade F BBB rating for lying/bait and switching. This prompted me to look for another company. I decided to give BuyBackBoss a chance since I knew the other company was flat-out lying about my phone having excessive scratches and still having a balance. Once I got it back from that leaping animal company I verified every single possible thing that the other company claimed was wrong with my phone was an absolute lie. My carrier said the phone was paid off two years ago (not that there was any doubt in my mind about that) but it also had absolutely no scratches whatsoever on the glass screen and only a couple of minor paint blemishes around the outside bezel. I checked the battery health as suggested by a member at BuyBackBoss and confirmed that it was above 80%. I carefully packaged up the phone and sent it to them. They sent me emails every step along the way as to when they knew I shipped it, to when they received it, to how many business days it should take to confirm the state of my phone not to mention a specific contact person I could interact with should I need to. The entire process fell within their time estimate and the final offer remained exactly as the initial offer.
It is my humble opinion that as long as you are honest with the condition of your phone and don't overstate its value just because you think it's in "as new" condition when it probably isn't then you will not be disappointed using BuyBackBoss."

"Originally I was set to sell a Galaxy Fold 4 which at the time of me writing this, a new one is $1500. The original agreed resell price was $718 which was already pretty low but considering I got it from $1000 I figured okay fine. The phone was sent to them with minor scratch on the corner that any phone would have and scratch resembling a hair on the camera. Camera quality and function was not affected and you have to crane your neck in the light to see the scratch. Well the offering price went from $718 down to $118. When I responded back at first in disbelief, they said they'd done a reassessment and $138 is what they meant to say. Now I don't know about you, but with some things it's just the principle of the matter. When they sent me this I requested they send the phone back. If I am going to sell my damn near brand new phone for pennies, I may as well do it on my own accord via Ebay or somewhere else. Don't insult me. So when I finally asked to have to sent back to me again they offered $575 as a last attempt effort. I am currently looking to sell this phone on on my own. Wouldn't recommend this site unless you don't care what they're offering."

I can respond here as you’ve left a review on multiple review sites. I’m happy to clarify the details of your order for anyone that may be reading through.
First off, I can assure you we are not a scam and have no intentions of operating as one.
You sent in two Samsung S9+ devices under the our “Mint” condition. The “Mint” condition is for devices that look and operate like new devices, so they can’t show any wear or defects. We received your order and upon testing the devices, we found both devices had an LCD defect commonly referred to as ghost image. Ghost image is an LCD burn and appears as faint images of the most commonly viewed screens of the device. These faint images never go away are are burned into the display with pink/red hues. I took a look at your order and when looking at device 1, there is ghost image of the keyboard at the bottom of the screen. So the keyboard is always faintly visible in the background regardless of what the phone’s screen is displaying. And, device 2 has a ghost image of solitaire cards present at the top of the screen. The ghost image is noticeable enough for us to capture it in a photo. We have attached a photos of each device in your order email chain so you can see what we are seeing.
Ghost image is a common LCD issue and is listed as an LCD defect on our site through the order process. It’s listed under the “Broken” condition category on our site which is why your devices were evaluated under the “Broken” condition category. This is the only reason the device’s changed category and offer. The device can remain functional with ghost image present which is probably why this offer and category change was a surprise.
