POOR Customer Service Policies

"I ordered a pair of Dexter bowling shoes in 9.5 wide. The shoes arrived in a plastic bag ? OK I guess, but shoes usually come in a box. I tried one on and could barely my foot in. These shoes weren't off by a smidge or just slightly tight, but WAY off the size. To call these a 9.5 wide was very misleading. I go to start a return and learn of all the fees to return an item, pay shipping plus a restocking fee of 15% ? Seriously ? I filled out the form and still have not heard a thing back, not even an acknowledgement of "hey we got your request" and that was at least 5 days ago.
I also learned of some kind en-sure fit guarantee that I could of paid more money for. So terrible customer service is free, but for better customer service, you have to pay money ? No thanks. To anyone who is reading this,, please,,, shop elsewhere. There are SO MANY great establishments that will serve you better.
So to end the story, I found a pair of Lind's on E-BAY from a pro-shop in a bowling alley. They were AWESOME! Competitive pricing, SUPER FAST shipping and the shoes fit perfect:) Like I said, there are better alternatives out there. Thank you for reading this.

terrible service.

"everything came zip tied inside a wet bag? Everything was soaking wet and the company did not even reply when I sent photos and videos.
Stay away! a few buck more on another site is worth it if you get what you order and want any type of service.

Scam artist

"Had an issue with their free shipping. So they send the wrong ball(weight) and I called them. They said it's your fault, told me to pay shipping fees for return. restocking fee and wait before sending a new ball. The Chris (snarky lady) aaid she is the big cheese, and blocks my account, the CEO messages me..said we will take care of it...then blocks my messages. Thieves caught red handed. "

Horrible customer service

"Had horrible experience with their customer service . They do NOT stand behind the products they sell . Bought shoes and the toe split and they said it was toe drag . The shoes are only 2 months old . I didn’t even want a refund , simply a credit towards a different shoe . They said to bad .. sorry . Do not buy anything from them . They will not help you with any issue you may have . "

"Sent larger ball then i ordered and they wont take it back. I told them it was suppose to be one size but according to there rules they can send bigger. I can't use this bigger ball now i'm out 100.00 bucks
thanks for nothing i have an over sized paper weight. Not happy here
just go buy from the alleys but not from these people.

Slow customer service response; hidden restocking fee!

"Placed an order near the Christmas holidays; realized it was the wrong item, so contacted them right away to see about getting it turned around and sent back to them quicker (they are in Florida; I am in Arizona). NO RESPONSE. So I arranged with Fedex to send it back. FINALLY I get a very curt response from them announcing all the charges I will incur by daring to return something -- return shipping cost, 15% restocking fee, etc. Neat that on their website, there is NO MENTION WHATEOEVER of a restocking fee unless you dig into their Returns link. It should law that any vendor that charges a restocking fee should have it posted PLAINLY on the checkout pages so you are well aware of it. Instead they like to boast about free shipping, free insurance (which is a lie; they charge you $2 extra for insurance), awesome customer service, etc. Sorry, didn't experience ANY of that."

Hassle

"Doesn’t except Visa card which it states they do..If you make a purchase with a credit card or debit be prepared for it to be declined next day after they withdraw the money and then wait for your money back (could take days)..apparently they only except PayPal and love to inconvenience you with making another form of payments .. so if you’re buying a bowling ball for your kid/kids don’t buy from this website because it’s only going to break their heart when they can’t get the ball they wanted.. I highly recommend using another website for bowling purchases.. don’t make the mistake countless others have made..If they make things right I will update my review But I highly doubt it after talking to customer service"

Greed and Corruption

"They drill balls but you can't return them. The insurance doesn't cover their work! Because the ball didn't fit they just refunded the insurance rather than replace the ball
Good prices. Extremely poor service. Better not to deal with them than get stuck with equipment you can't use.

"I used to like this company until this last order from them. I ordered Dexter SST 8 shoes from them and every pair of Dexter shoes I have bought from them in the past came with the extra soles and heels. Well I just paid 149.00 for a pair of Dexter SST 8s and guess what no extra heels. So for me to get the heels that I have always gotten when ordering those shoes I will have to pay an additional 35 dollars plus shipping. I contacted them asking if I could exchange them for the SST8 shoes that they show came with those heels and were only 20$ more and now they want to charge a 15% restocking fee plus I have to pay shipping back (which is understandable). So now I'll have to look elsewhere to find the heel and sole that I need for the shoes. I also will not be doing anymore business with a company that is more worried about profits than customer satisfaction."

"I was browsing the internet looking for a 2 ball Ebonite bag. After lots of surfing, on accident, I purchased a one ball bag for $55.99. I called them after I received it and asked if I could exchange it in and pay the difference for a 2 ball bag. I filled out the RMA to return the bag online. I found out that the return shipping, which I had to pay for, had be insured and that the new bowling bag was going to have shipping on it. I don't know, I shop a lot online and there are way better return policies out there. I found the 2 ball bag I wanted on eBay for $57.99 w/ a five year warranty. I normally shop on eBay and their return policy is much better. I'll never buy anything from these people again."

"Do not order the OTB balls! They come with a huge nasty seam down the middle. Totally unusable. I contacted support and was told that this was just how it comes. They also come with the bowlingball.com stamp on it that doesn't look very good. I was hoping that was just a watermark type thing for the picture, but it's on the ball too. That's not as big of a deal. I won't be getting this ball drilled and it will likely just be going in the trash. I'd steer clear from any OTB balls, as I'm told they all come like this."
