Scam: Buyer Beware

"So called company, some how got my billing address correct, but my shipping address as some store front on the otherwise of town from me. They refuse to change the shipping address "They work so quickly", "Do not have the ability to change the address with their software and vendors". Blame the customer and refuse to help in anyway other than snarky replies. BUYER BEWARE, they want your money and then don't give a d#$n if you get what you paid for or not."

AVOID Bluefly AT ALL COST!

"They sent sent defective item and refused to give full refund! They rip customers off by colluding with dishonest eBay sellers as partners, sending defective, low-quality, possibly unauthentic products, then denying whatever you say, refusing to give full refund and charging people return fees. They don't take ANY responsibility and they even accuse YOU of being dishonest even if you provide solid evidence! Then they go back to sell these items on their little website and eBay at the same time like nothing ever happened, hoping more people would get tricked. Such a toxic business!"

"I actually had a phenomenal experience buying something on Bluefly recently. At first, I was a bit skeptical given all the negative reviews. However, in the end, I couldn't be happier. The product (a Jay Strongwater egg) was EXACTLY as described, and it IS authentic! Moreover, I ordered it very late on Wednesday (close to midnight) and it was delivered by end-of-day Friday, Christmas Eve. I never had that kind of service before. Nor did I even expect such fast delivery! Also, not only was shipping free, but also, I received a 5 percent discount on the item, which was already less expensive than on any other site. Overall, I figured, that I paid more than $100 LESS for the item than what I would have paid on a competitor site. To say I'm extremely happy is an understatement. I am ecstatic! "

Bluefly Online customer service is all of what people complain about

"I've contacted Bluefly several times in the past 4 days via email as I'm not aware of a number to call. My package was sent fedex by a third-party vendor per Bluefly. I don't have any information on the vendor as I purchased from Bluefly and weren't given that information. I contacted fedex to investigate the delivery and I'm told the item was delivered and signed. It says it was signed by S. Latrice which is not my name and shows a pdf of a signature that has a different signature name that I don't know. Fedex said they spoke with driver that states the package was delivered to my address and signed by residence but it was left at main entrance. I don't have a main entrance. I live in a four-plex apartment where 3 units are upstairs 1 unit downstairs and signs pointing upstairs where each unit is with the address in plain sight. Bluefly said I made several threats about filing a dispute in which I did not. Then Bluefly said I didn't give them or the vendor a chance to resolve the issue. I don't feel Bluefly made much of an effort to resolve the issue. I have several emails per our conversation in which I submitted with a dispute and the information from fedex delivery.

Stay away from this scam!

"I won’t go into specific details but I can tell you that after many emails and phone calls that wouldn’t go through, that company ripped me off almost $90. I finally contacted PayPal and filed a complaint. Then, Bluefly said they would have gotten my money back but since I filed a complaint, they couldn’t .... it’s the biggest SCAM! BEWARE!!!!"

GOT RIPPED OFF

"I ordered an expensive men's coat in large but it arrived XXLarge. I immediately contacted Bluefly.com and was instructed on how to return for a full refund. After following their return procedure I received an email from Jackie in Bluefly cystomer support that they were processing my refund. After a month of not receiving my refund I sent emails and letters For several weeks to their corporate office requesting they issue the refund they owed me as they do not have a number to call them direct. After being ignored for many months Dominic from Bluefly support emailed me that a few months after my return, Bluefly. Com relaunched and although they have the same online name, the relaunch eliminated their responsibility to refund past due money to customers. I informed the company that I would warn the public through social media as well as by filing a complaint with the better business bureau to ensure the public Knows that BLUEFLY.COM IS NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY"

Took my money without giving me product

"I wanted a simple 30 dollar top by Line& Dot. When I put the order through it said declined. I thought that I had accidentally transposed numbers perhaps. I put my order through again declined. BUT THEN $60 was taken out of my account. The phone number doesn’t work( out of order) the customer device email is invalid. Why is a gross company like Bluefly allowed to just take my money??? They declined e my order but take the money?? Twice??? DISGUSTING. I will get my money and I will make sure I give them as many bad reviews as possible. Horrible business ethics. Jennifer Cameron"

horrible service

"i ordered a pair of $300 sunglasses from there and they broke 2 months later. i always put them in their case, didn't drop them, didn't step on them, didn't sit on them, cleaned them - essentially i took very good care of them. i called customer service when it happened and they were very unhelpful. their return/repair policy is 14 DAYS which makes sense for returns but repairs? cmon. i get that it's discounted designer items but they should still stand behind their product and not treat their customers like crap. i will never be purchasing from this website again and suggest you do the same."

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

"Their customer service is terrible. Good luck trying to get through to them and when you finally do, they will do nothing to resolve your issue. Something I bought was never delivered. When I contacted their customer service, they told me the shipper said it was delivered and that I would have to contact the shipper, which is ridiculous. I did contact the shipper and they told me they could only release delivery info to the seller of the package, not the receiver. So I'm out my $ and several hours of my time trying to track down my package. "

Horrible Experience

"I attempted to purchase a pair of Christian Louboutin's for a wedding and for 10 days, my order when unprocessed. When I contacted customer service, the customer service agent hung up on me before I could finish my request for the order cancelation. She was very unprofessional and sounded like she didn't want to do her job in the first place. You truly do get what you pay for and I recommend that if you want to purchase designer shoes, do not use Bluefly or their "marketplace partners". "

Awful experience of their "FINAL SALE"

"Be careful when you buy any final sale items from Bluefly. I bought a pair of boots that was marked as FINAL SALE. It was advertised as NEW, but when it arrived, it was already worn!! The bottom of the shoes had some dirt and looked being worn several times. The tag was detached, and the box was all nasty. I contacted customer service, and explained that the boots wasn't the same as advertised, but they kept telling me that the item was marked as FINAL, and because of this reason, the item was NON-RETURNABLE! I have never experienced such a horrible service like Bluefly. This was my second purchase from them, and I will NEVER RETURN. "

Horrendous experience

"I had heard Bluefly was a reputable company, so when I was asked to help a friend find the perfect engagement ring for his girlfriend, I found the perfect one on Bluefly for him! He loved it, and I ordered it for him on March 14, 2018. It took one day to verify my billing information and the shipping information (to another friend's house in the same town as my friend) which was expected.



Then the issues began in what became a horrendous saga of drama over what should have been a simple process. I heard nothing from Bluefly for 7 days. On March 21, I called their customer service center for an update. It turns out the ring had been shipped on March 20, and no one had updated the order record. The item arrived on March 22nd. It was the correct ring setting. IT WAS THE WRONG STONE! The center stone was supposed to be a dark blue sapphire. Instead, it was a teal stone. NOT THE SAME STONE as was shown on the website. My friend was extremely upset- this was not the ring for proposing to his girlfriend!



I immediately contacted customer supported and reached Elena, an assistant manager, who took the pictures I sent her and contacted the vendor to resolve the issue immediately. The vendor sent a return label on March 23, and the ring was sent back on March 23.



I had to reach out to Elena and/or the customer service center every single day for an update. They did not reach out to me with updates proactively.



On March 27, I received an update from Elena that the item should arrive that day back to the vendor and she would personally make sure that the right stone was put into the ring and shipped out with expedited shipping within 1-2 days back to my friend.



On March 28, the friend who was the shipping address person (not ME- the PURCHASER) was left a voicemail that the order had been refunded!! I was not notified and had my friend not checked her voicemails for any reasons, we would have had no idea that this had happened. I was not called, emailed, or contacted in any way. NOT WHAT WAS NEEDED! When I contacted Elena to find out what had happened, I was handled by Michael, a customer service representative whose response was to reorder the item. This was on March 29, and Elena would personally make sure it was sent out immediately. However, the price of the ring had now increased from $458.09 to $503.99. There was no way on earth that we were going to pay MORE for a ring that had been WRONG EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. My friend needed the right ring immediately for an out of the country proposal and was legitimately extremely upset, as was I, as the entire ring cost was still on my credit card, and we had no ring to show for all of this hassle.



I will NEVER do business with Bluefly ever again and I strongly discourage anyone from ever working with them. This was completely ridiculous. I ordered a ring. I should have gotten that ring. Easy. That's the entire purpose of the company. No customizing, nothing special, size 7, ring, as pictured on the website.



The vendor somehow got my information and called me by accident on 3/29. I was able to get things sorted out directly with the vendor (THANK GOODNESS) because Bluefly was not going to be able to get this done at all for me.



Then on 4/4, I finally got my refund back on my credit card.... for the incorrect amount based on what I paid Bluefly for the ring in the first place!!! WHAT???!!! We'll see how long it takes for something this "difficult" to get resolved.... at least the ring got sorted out by the vendor. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company as I will never deal with Bluefly’s customer service department again. Bluefly's customer service was reprehensible at best and atrocious at worst. Do not trust this company to handle anything with accuracy or efficiency. In today’s world, there are other options. I urge you to seek other companies and save yourself the time and headache.
