VIP? Really? Watch your CCstatements

"Worst service ever. In addition to placing an order I was automatically enrolled in a VIP PROGRAM AT $14.95. Ordered dress, returned for next size at a cost of $9 dollars and change. Never recieved dress so I finally cancelled and I'm out the shipping charge-plus my credit card was charged $14.95 for a VIP program after I returned the dress! Called customer service 10/16 to credit me the 14.95 charge, but would not credit me shipping. So this company actually made money off me for something I don't even have. BUYER BEWARE. All adds go to junk folder and any magazine go to recycling."

Really bad service!

"I put in a order on Sept. 7 and it is now Sept. 22 and still says it is in the warehouse. Contacted costumer service by email and by phone several times with no results. Talked to a supervisor and she was rude and no help at all. They say they cannot contact the warehouse to see what the reason is that this order is not being processed. REALLY then how can they call themselves customer service if they cannot even contact the warehouse to find out what the problem is. This morning I talked to customer service by phone for the 4th time and she told me there was no record of my contacting them before!! Really so no notes are being taken on complaints being made by customers and basically no action is being taken to resolve the problem. So what is the point of having customer service when they cannot do anything or won't do anything. This company needs better management!!"

Who Needs Customers?

"Back in the saddle obviously doesn't need customers with the poor way they treat them. We ordered two birthday presents from them on September 3rd. The website said that they would be delivered in3-5 days which would have given us time to get them for the birthday gifts. On Monday, September 12th, we checked the status of the order and the website said "in the warehouse." Not being sure what that meant I called customer service and was told that they showed it "in the warehouse" and had no idea when it would actually be shipped. In these days of free two day delivery and all kinds of expedited delivery options, it seems ludicrous that a retail website would be that indifferent to their customers! We canceled the order and went to Amazon where we found a better selection, free two day shipping and customer service folk who give a darn. "

Terrible service and kept promising delivery and no follow thru

"Ordered chair covers was told 2 weeks till delivery. I called at the 2 week Mark and they said that they "thought" the warehouse had them and probably 7-10 more business days."

RIP OFF SCAM - tricky default enrollment into VIP program

"***Beware of this scam if you shop with ***Back in the Saddle!***

My husband had my daughter do some online shopping before Christmas for me from Back in the Saddle. Apparently there was a checkbox or something that she didn't see to uncheck that enrolled us in their VIP program. She even checked out as a guest and didn't set up an account with them. They have been charging our credit card $14.95 per month!!!!! They know good and well it is a scam because when I called them there was no argument or anything...just said they are refunding...I will be watching for that refund! They have lost our business!!

"I purchased Horse engraved wine glasses and horse charms and paid 2 day shipping. They did arrive the day before Christmas eve and the $69.99 glasses were broken. I was able to get in touch with a Customer Service Rep who said I did not need to return the broken glasses and they would sent me a new set. I got a confirmation email that they were sending me the horse charms instead(They cost 19.99).
Honestly how can you mess up horse charm and glasses?

I then called on Christmas Eve and spoke with another associate who was cheerful and said he would stop that order and reorder the new glasses. He told me they refund the charge on my credit card then recharge it when they ship. I do not understand this process but I agreed as this was a gift.

I got a confirmation email that my glasses were returned to them and a refund will be made. No email that my glasses will be shipped out.

I Paid $24.99 for 2 day shipping and it may look like that is all I get. But time will tell.

I have to say their Customer service is not very good. When I called and the options went through there was nothing about orders received issues.

I already know I will never buy from them again.
I would heed the comments below- they are true.

"I ordered a purse for my mom for Xmas. The picture of the purse showed a matching wallet.
When I received my order, there was no wallet.
I called customer service & was told the wallet was a cancelled item & they no longer had it in stock.
I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor told me the wallet was a separate item & regardless they no longer carried it.
She then told me I was welcome to return the purse, but why would I return the purse the day before Xmas & then have nothing for my mom on Xmas!
When I brought up the picture showing BOTH the purse & wallet, and the description saying it came with the wallet, the supervisor pointed out that the wording in the description states as follows " matching wallet has a removable wrist strap". It does ACTUALLY say the wallet is included.
But why would anyone deduce anything else other than the wallet being included, between the wording of the description & the only photo containing both products?

I informed her that myself & my mom would no longer be ordering from their site due to their deceiving marketing tactics & she didn't seem to care.
I went back to write a bad review on the site, and found that NOWHERE on that site is there anywhere to leave any type of review at all!
I should've known when there was no product reviews. Guess I'll be much more careful of sites like these in the future!

"HORRIBLE SERVICE and outdated systems. I placed an order for Christmas gifts on Dec 11. Not received by 12/21 so I called customer service. There was SUPPOSEDLY an error in my credit card info- however, the order was not rejected when placed and I never received any notification from them otherwise. SUPPOSEDLY they sent a LETTER (?? not an email or call) on DEC 15 - however, NOT received. When I asked why I hadn't been notified if there was a problem the customer service manager had a few ridiculous comments and became very "snippy" with me. Essentially her answer was "well you didn't get a shipping confirmation did you?"

Regardless, I asked to have the order shipped asap to receive by the holiday and was told it wasn't their fault I entered the card info wrong and so if I wanted the items I had to pay expedited shipping. "Emily"- a customer service manager was rude and when I asked her who to address a complaint to I was told "whoever I want."

Save your money and avoid headaches. TERRIBLE. I cancelled the order.

"Terrible Customer Service! Ordered something for Christmas that was backordered until a particular date. Check back on that date and find the item in stock by mine order was still backordered. Waited on hold for 25 minutes to find out that there were no items and they would not ship until FEBRUARY. No one bothered to notify me.. nor would they have. I then asked if I ordered something else from them, would they give me free expedited shipping to get it there for Christmas. They said NO! Terrible customer service! Don't order from these people. "

"Wish I had read these reviews before shopping here. Horrible customer service. I returned an item and emailed them 3 times to ask when I would get the refund. No response. I had to file a dispute with the cc company to get my refund. Provided the tracking number and everything. Never shop there again.

"I am experiencing the same problems with no response to my emails. Apparently, their clothes sizes run large and I wanted to know if the 4 items I had received in the Large size were available in Medium size. No response after 3 days and 3 emails. My last email to them had a subject line of, DO YOU REALLY WANT TO LOSE ANOTHER CUSTOMER? I'm guessing they don't give a crap if they do. I told them I will publicly post to Facebook and other social media that they are unresponsive, unprofessional and have no desire to retain their customers if I don't hear from them in 2 days. What do you want to bet that I don't hear from them? Plus, they still owe me a product I ordered a month ago that I paid for and still have not received."

"Absolutely worst online shopping experience ever! Returned a sweatshirt I bought for my daughter at Christmas. Returned on 12/30/14 - called on 1/18/15 for a status update and informed that no record of the exchange yet because "if you read the print it states allow 4-6 weeks for delivery." Explained it had been 3 weeks and they still have not acknowledged that it was even at their facility. Customer Service hung up on me! I was flabbergasted! I cannot believe any company would allow such service as that. Will NEVER shop here again!"

"I placed my order almost a month ago. It said on their website it would be delivered in time for Christmas. I got an email confirmation that they received my order and would send another when it shipped. I have never had any more correspondence from them except spam. I've emailed 3x asking about my order. Each time I get an automatic response saying my email will be answered within 1 business day. First email was sent 11 days ago and still haven't heard anything. Absolutely shocking customer service. Would never deal with them again. I'm now in the process of refuting the charge with my credit card company. Do not use this website!"
