"I ordered an Exedy Mach 500 clutch kit with a slave cylinder/throwout bearing. The slave cylinder was sent separately from the clutch kit. The clutch was new and the box had the part number of 07807LB which is the clutch disk, pressure plate, and pilot bearing. 07807CSC is for that and the slave cylinder. The slave cylinder I received was clearly installed before as there was gease on the boot, marks from the washers where the cylinder mounts, and the cylinder was damaged and popped out past the retaining ring. I have read that there have been damage issues with shipping with these, and I was ready for that. When I contacted American Muscle through a chat online the representative O.B. was helpful and polite. After I submitted pictures I got a confirmation email and a box to click so I could pay the FedEx freight back. I was dismayed and upset. Who would have the audacity to send a product that was supposed to be new, but clearly installed and damaged and then make the customer pay return shipping? I realize mistakes happen, but to make me pay for American Muscle's and another customer's mistake is not good business. American Muscle did send another slave cylinder and it is actually new."
