"This outfit is a shame. In almost every instance, the product prices they advertise are not for U.S. buyers; do not contain software, wires, batteries, waranties etc. They have you call to "verify your order", but hard sell you on purchasing what you thought you were getting in the first place...lots of extra, hidden costs."

"Company appears to employ bait-and-switch sales by, if not the ability to sell additional accessories, saying that the price listed is for a "manufacturer's" model that is out of stock and try to sell the "retail" package at a more realistic price point. Either way, it does not appear that you will ever get an item at the originall listed price. The salesperson also lied about how much additional accessories would cost if I was to buy them at a later point."
"I ordered a Nikon Camera from these guys. I did have to call back confirming my order, but, instead of the "High Pressure" sales tactics I read on this site, I was only asked if I had any questions or needed anything else. I said no and that was it. I tracked my order the following day and it was on backorder. I called and explained I did not want to wait and please cancel my order. They did and gave me a cancellation # and a confirming e-mail. I would definitely consider them again."
"Not only is there security certificate invalid, but their prices relfect imported non-US models, not the same model you would get anywhere else here in the states. The sales people are pushy and try to make you buy extra accessories that are unneeded. The sales person I spoke with was very rude. I will never do business with them again. Luckily, I cancelled my order with them before they could suck any more money out of me."
"This company is misleading-felt like "bait & switch". Ordered a camera online-got a phone call from the company, wanting to add other items to my order-items that the site implied already came with the camera. Also, the camera was going to take 2-3 weeks to be shipped as it was an international version of the camera coming from who knows where.

"Be carefull with how you deal with this supplier. Initially I was attracted to this store because of a low price on a camcorder. The price was 1049$. In the end they convinced me to buy extra battery, tape, tripod, warranty and some other extrax for an extra 500$. When I received the package I found out that all the extra's were non branded products to my dissapointment. I got some quotes around and it all totatalled to about 80$. I called customer service and I managed to get a 200$ refund on my card. If you deal with A&M be very firm because most of the time the sales person will lie to you concerning what the deliverables are. Be carefull."
"i should have known!i didn't learn my lesson the first time, but instead i ordered twice from these crooks.google searched them with the lowest price on everyprice.com, claimed it was in stock, i ordered, they email back saying it was backordered, so i canceled. 2 days later went back to their website and they had a special on the item, so i ordered again and the same thing happened. i didn't only order from them but all the other vendor they showed up on everyprice.com.(really wanted that camera)"

"Order a PV-GS120 camcorder. They Required me to call back to verify. Kept putting me on hold. After 5 tries I get through and it turns out they really wanted to upsell an extra battery with longer life. I asked to put the order on hold. When I called back, they said this time that I needed to buy a battery AND a charger. I asked "It oesn't come with a charger?" he answered, "No, it doesn't come with anything". I cancelled the order. Buyer beware!
I have filed a complaint with Department of Consumer Affairs."
"I ordered Olympus Camedia C-7000 Zoom, 7.41 Megapixel, 5x Optical/6x Digital Zoom, Digital Camera from amphotoworld.com on 02/16/2005. Next day I got an email saying I have to call them for verification purposes. I called them and "Chuck extension 739" immediately asked me if I want the camera with one battery and charger or with two batteries and a charger. I replied I only want to get the items in the original package. Then he told that they sell the battery and charger seperately, the camera comes WITHOUT A BATTERY. Then I asked to cancel my order, and we lost the connection. I called again nobody answered. I sent them an e-mail saying that I want to cancel my order accordingly. Next day I got an e-mail confirming my cancellation. It seems they are selling the camera 50$ cheaper, however they are trying to sell it couple of hundred bucks more expensive, with selling the battery and all the "Included Accessories" seperately."
"I placed an online order from them on a Contax U4R camera that was much cheaper than anyone else. The next morning I received an email from them asking to call and verify my order. After asking for my invoice number and saying "It's verified and ready to ship" the guys says "by the way, will you be needing a battery and charger with that?" To make a long story short, they had taken out both of those items from the box and were then going to try and charge me more. Fortunately, they did cancel my order immediately when I requested it."
"Bunch of crooks. They adviertise low price, try to bait in customers and then ask them to buy add ons. No add ons equals no product. A textbook example of "Bait and Switch". I placed an order for Olympus E-300 camera and had it cancelled due to these unethical practises."
