"I have checked with this merchant a number of times via the internet. Each time I tried to place an order for a Sony hvr-a1 the resulting checkout process would show none in stock. I have called them and they have said that they will get them in and to check periodically. Their rating looks good so I every now and then check to see if they have it. Yesterday June 27th, they showed it was in stock. I completed the purchasing process and they accepted my credit card. Then within about an hour I received a confirmation and then a note to contact their customer service. I did that today the 28th of June. I was told that it was not in stock but if I purchased one of their kits then it would be availalbe. I think this bait and switch? She even offered to double the warranty if I purchased the kit for $1999.00, versus the $1475.00 I paid. So now I have the option of waiting to see if they get it in. And of course the order will be canceled within two weeks by them if it does not arrive. The order was for the compete camera and all the accessories as stated on their web site. This is pure crap and should not be tolerated. By the way I did purchase a camcorder from buydig.com and they followed through as professionals. When they did not have something in stock they alerted me and allowed me to cancel. I also received the credit right away."

"When I placed an order this store reply right away but when I email with a problem with the camcorder they never reply. I called them and they just passed me to manufacturer number to contact. When they already got your money it's done. Watch out for accessories kit. It's the bate. SD card I got doen't fit to Canon camcorder at all. Never come back to this store. Very disatisfied."

"I researched many online stores for the Panasonic 58" Plasma TV Model TH58PX600U, I was impressed by the low price and attractive package deal it offfers, but I was "skeptic" about it because I never bought any things from Zoommania and did not know if it was a fake. I am an active online shopper for many years, but I am also very cautious of where to place my order.

I called the store and talked to the sales Rep. who answered all my questions to my satisfaction. The Sales Rep. was so professional, helpful and candit that I placed my order of $3,348.00 with her.

They delivered the TV on time and the TV came in perfect conditions. I would definitely come back to Zoommania for future buys if the price fits my expections. "

"I just tried to purchase a JVC GZ-MG70U from their website for $700 and it says it is in stock. Well, after going through everything and giving them my CC#, a window popped up and it states that my order cannot be processed because the quantity is not available. I called the store and the person who answered (Alberto) told me the camera was only available as the "Travel Package" which sells for $400 more! I didn't buy anything from them . . . typical bait and switch!! They have two cameras in stock but only if you want to spend $1099 for stuff you don't need!!"

"I recalled Bizrate.com actually gave this place a pretty good review. I paid for 2nd Day Air shipping ($139!!) and figured to give these guys a chance to make some money. Like others I received a phone call 2 days later to confirm order, and I tried & tried to call their customer service line and couldn't get a live person to pick up. This went on for like two more days and finally got someone that picked up the phone. Surprisingly they didn't try to upsell but shared a disappointing news that my camera was on their shipping dock with "HOLD TAG" with no reason for two days. I, again, attempted to call cust svc the next two days and received no explanation but many failed promises to call back. I tried to be super-nice to these people when I get a chance, since they have my credit card# and God knows what they'll do with it. Finally I received a FedEx overnight tracking # poped up in my email and I got my D2X the following day. In my opinion, by all means these people are legit, just a bit messed up in their shipping processes; I'll let you be the judge."

"Another bait-and-switch business. The camera they ship is legit and not grey market, but they require you to purchase a ridiculously over-priced kit with your order. If you call later to dispute, they say order has already shipped (when it has not). Avoid this company. If the price is too good to be true, that's because it is. By the time you add the cost of the kit, you'll spend more than at a reputable vendor like B&H or Adorama."
