"I stumbled upon YourCornerStore while doing research, and was simply amazed at how few people have mentioned them as a great source.

There are plenty of sellers out there that distribute the same goods, but few make it a priority to present their (huge) inventory in a clear, no-frills, and practical fashion.

Their layout style could be labeled "borderline barebones"/sketchy since you won't always get the typical advertised product details--mostly the tech specs and little else, but they have so much stuff listed that it's understandable, and one should have already done the requisite research prior to purchasing. (If you don't know what something is, or are unsure, it's easy enough to do reference checks elsewhere.)

The in-stock/item status listing and the restocking notifications via email are invaluable features on the site. About six months ago (from the date of this post), a couple site elements were nebulous, although now, I can't be sure if that's still the case. For instance, many items that I had bookmarked from that time now lead me to random products. The more recent stuff have consistent product IDs, so I'm guessing they've done some internal reorganizing. And back then, they had a different shipping and handling rate that's disappeared; it was a much cheaper option than the lowest method they offer now. So it makes me wonder if they'll change it again later, or if what they have listed is permanent.

But any gripes I have are mild, and may only bug first-time buyers:

The process of placing an order was simple, however, there was no tracking notification or shipping updates. Nothing via email; only the site as reference after logging in, but that doesn't help much... Had the order been larger and more expensive, this would have been unnerving, i.e., being kept in the dark, but it's not so bad if you find solid praise for the company mollifying. And without said praise, I also would've been a tad leery about the overall "sketchy" site presentation--along with the lack of a Paypal option.

Nevertheless, YourCornerStore doesn't seem to hide much (being thorough in their descriptions of policies and disclaimers), and don't spam you with worthless information. Their prices are decent, but variable, so shop around before you settle on anything.

Bottom line: I received the items I wanted in perfect condition and in due time. As long as customer errors are avoided, your experiences with them might be the same.

"I ordered items that showed in stock, and the items were delivered to me in 3 days from the date of the order! (I ordered early in the morning on the day of the order).

I received a confirmation email immediately, and then a bit later I recieved an email stating that my order had shipped, along with a tracking number.

The order arrived right on time, and the items I ordered (Spyderco Knives) were all excellent and in great condition. The items were well packaged to ensure they were not damaged.

My experience with YourCornerStore was excellent, and the price for the items I ordered was the very best I could find.

"I ordered a pistol light switch from this company. Despite it being made for my gun, it didnt even come close to fitting. This shop has a 30 day unconditional money back guarantee. However, they do not respond to their online RA Request form, nor have they responded to the several emails I have sent them. I now own a piece of equipment that I will probably have to sell on ebay.

In addition, after not responding to my multiple emails about returning the above item, this company sent an email asking why I had left items in my shopping cart. I replied to this email and pointed out their poor customer service, and once again requested they contact me. However, they did not respond to this email either, and it has been more than a week.

Im assuming this company will probably contact me after the 30 money back guarantee has expired or not at all. This company appears to only be concerned with selling products and has no expectation of providing the consumer with customer service or fulfilling guarantee's/claims on their website.

In summary, spend the extra money and buy from a trusted seller. Its not worth getting stuck with a product you cant use.

"I ordered a product form YourcornerStore on Feb 5th, I noticed I entered the wrong shipping address. So I emailed and ask for it to be corrected, never received a reply, and it was not changed. I went on web site and changed the shipping address myself, but it is still wrong on the invoice. On Feb 8th I was charged for the product, emailled and ask if it was shipped, and was told it would not be in stock untill March the 2oth. I am not accustom of being charged for a product a month before it is in stock. I will not be ording anything else from this company."
