Total rip off

"I chose 08 Dodge Avenger lights but received Dodge Caliber lights. I paid 181.00 for the lights. I sent the lights back which cost me $42. After requesting a refund I received $141 because they charged me to inspect them and restock them. I lost $83 on the purchase and still have no lights. "

Very disappointed

"On 2/18/17, I bought headlights for car and immediately called/chat with an agent asking to cancel the order because I ordered lights that you cannot use with daytime running lights (which I have). I was told to call or email the service department. I emailed them that day, even tho it was a weekend, thinking they would respond Monday. On 2/21/17 I emailed them again because I had not heard from them yet. On 2/22/17 I received a shipment email but with no response to my previous email. Emailed again on 3/3/17. Still nothing. I received the shipment and spoke with a couple of people about possibly still being able to use them. No such luck. On 3/3/17, I finally spoke to someone on the phone about returning the lights. She sent me over a form to fill out and ship back with the lights. On the form I stated the steps I had taken to cancel this order and that I needed a FULL refund (specially having paid over $75 in shipping). I shipped the lights back about a week later. I even included the emails that I never got a response. On 4/13, I emailed them wondering about the status of my refund. No answer. On 4/16 I called and the woman said they weren't sure what to do with that order. They didn't know if it was a refund or exchange. I informed her that I included the form that they required me to fill out along with the emails. I kindly explained to her why I should receive a full refund. She said that she would take it to her manager. Ok, sure, no problem. Today, 5/3/17, I have been on hold (while I've been writing this) for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I called the product/sales number to let them know what was going on. The guy said he would call over to the service department and put me on hold. It has now been 45 minutes on hold with him. Fan-freaking-tastic. Absolutely wonderful customer service."

A ripe off.

"Order lights to fit Nissan. Didn't fit called company and was told it happens a lot and then gave order number for right lights
Sent back for 89 in shipping and was charged 120 for a return fee. What the hell . when they have a return policy of 20 for return items that was listed wrong they are making money off customers for shipping wrong parts. Don't order from this company...

Terrible

"I ordered a pair of tail lights from here and received them with in 2 weeks which is pretty good. After realizing they weren't what I wanted, I tried to contact customer service MULTIPLE times through email and also through their live chat feature. I got no responses on either. I tried calling them and a lady helped me to get the return form and sent me the address to return them. However, that address was wrong. I spent $40 to just get them returned back to me. After that, I tried contacting them several more times and also go no response until I started being more stern. I got the correct address and again had to pay $40 to send them back. I got a notification telling me the package had arrived at their facility through my ups account so I waited about a week and a half for my refund and received nothing from xtralights even saying they were processing it. I contacted them several more times and when a person finally answered, I asked if I will receive my whole refund back and they said they charge a 20% restocking fee. I asked why they charge a 20% restocking fee out of my refund when I am already $80 down for having them mess up the shipping address. She didn't like that and decided to end the conversation. Very rude service! WILL NEVER RETURN HERE FOR BUSINESS! I STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY REFUND AFTER 3 WEEKS."

Horrible

"About a week after I installed a set of projector headlights into my truck one of the halo power boxes stopped working resulting in my lower ring to not work. I told them I needed new one via live chat and they sent me a new one. At first I thought this company had excellent customer service and backed their products. Boy, was I wrong! I got my new power box, put it in and my bottom halo was working again but my top halo went dead! After contacting them about the situation I was told to send my entire headlight assembly back and they would ship out a new one. Here's where the kicker comes. I was told that I was going to have a light all set ready to go with my name on it and as soon as they received my defective headlight they would go ahead and ship the new one. Because of this I payed for 2 day shipping for my light to be sent back. I I did that on a Wednesday afternoon and It was confirmed that my headlight was shipped to them at 2:22 pm. Well it's now Wednesday and my new headlight hasn't even been shipped out today! I payed for 2 day to get my light back as soon as possible. I can't drive around with just one headlight! I could not get ahold of a live person in the customer service department. It got so bad to the point where I called the sales department and demanded to speak with a manager. After I told them what happened I was brought to "penny" she said my light will be shipped out today (Wednesday) and will be 2 day shipping. I will get an email confirmation by the end of the day. Well, the end of the day comes and still nothing. I called the sales team again to get directed to the manager again because no one would answer my call in the customer service department. I spoke to Joanne who said she was the manager. She was extremely rude. She said that my light will be another 3-5 days to process it in the warehouse. Are you effing kidding me? I said penny told me it would be shipped out today and she said "I don't know why she told you that" I said well it's your employee don't you think you should find that out? Her response was "that's not my problem or my fault" this company is the worst company I have ever dealt with by far. Liars and crooks. "

Customer Servcie and their Refund policy is a Fraud

"This has to be once of the worst companies online that I have dealt with. They offer no real tech support or instructions on the product. They said they tech depart was going to call me they never did. So I returned the product and it has been three weeks and no refund and they refuse to tell me what the refund amount will be. These people are rude and unprofessional I would not buy anything from them or recommend them to anyone. Do not believe anything they state on their website easy returns (a joke) tech support (non-existent) customer service has to be the worst on the live chat the agent just ended the conversation without saying anything I was writing a response and the chat screen went blank.

I have disputed the charges with my CC company and I will continue to give poor reviews on this company anytime I can as well as on FB.

I went to another site the product came and the instructions were clear and everything worked like they said.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I have had in years.

"We returned some items to them after we had closed out the acct we used to buy the items. When trying get to get our refund we were told it was refunded to closed acct. Bank said there was no way, they would have rejected said transaction. When I tried to get help to find our money I was talked to rudely ans then banned from the live chat and I was being very polite. Worst customers service ever!!!!!"

Buyer Beware!

"Ordered $424.96 LZ22628 02-05 Hyundai Sonata High-Energy 3D-LED Headlights. Received Halogen lights (not LED). Installed and did not work. Xtralights wanted me to pay 20-30% restocking fee for a product I did not order. They called the Halogen an "upgrade" which it is not. Luckily, I read online about Xtralights scams so I went directly to Paypal. I was able to get a full refund because I payed using PayPal, but not until after a lengthy time-period in which Xtralights provided me with two bogus return mailing addresses. NEVER, NEVER do business with this company."

"We were DOUBLE CHARGED for the wrong set of lights that they sent us....their mistake after pulling up wrong sku # and sending out. These ppl/business will do nothing but take your money. Seriously thinking about contacting our lawyer over this. All you get is the run around when trying to replace a wrong piece that they sent you. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with! They are nothing but liars and scam artists! DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PPL! Not worth it! "

"I ordered a pair of tail lights for my Ram because their website said they were in Stock and would ship in 24 hours. This was the first store on had found that had them. After I placed my order I get an email saying they are on back order for a month. I called on 5/16 and canceled. They still have not refunded my money. I called multiple times and was told it would be sent to a manager for review and a refund would be issued immediately. Called again and they said when it goes to a manager it takes 3 to 4 days to refund. I finally filed a complaint with PayPal on 6/8 and was told they had 10 days to respond. I called today, 6/15 and the girl told me they attempted to refund the money on 6/8 but couldn't because a complaint had been filed. Really? You just happened to finally make a refund the same damn day I filed a complaint? Bunch of Liars. She then told me they couldn't process a refund until my complaint was cancelled. BULL ****. I told her I wasn't going to cancel and asked her why they hadn't responded to my complaint thru PayPal. She couldn't give me answer and hung up on me. I only have to wait 2 more days for PayPal to close my complaint anyways. They've already placed my money on hold and taken it out of my balance owed on paypal credit. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE IDIOTS"

HOORIBLE experience! Bottom Half a follow-up!

"Ordered a headlight bracket for my son's car. Site said it was "In Stock" and that it usually ships within 24 hours. The following day, the site said "adding item(s) to shipment". Later that day, it changed to processing. Tried to use the "LIVE" chat feature and sat there for 30 minutes with absolutely NO response. I called customer service and was told that it was 24-48 hours after it started processing, which could be more than 24 hours. The next day, I tried to use the LIVE chat feature again and was banned. Apparently, I am not allowed, as the consumer, to be upset. Called customer service again and was told that I would be provided a tracking number "when it was available". Logged on to a different browser and used the LIVE chat feature again. This time someone answered. I was then told that the item was being ordered from the manufacturer and would not be shipped til the following week on Wednesday. So, I promptly filed a dispute with PayPal as I realized they were trying to rip me off. Once they realized I filed a dispute with PayPal, they retaliated and canceled my order. I also filed a dispute with my bank as a bulk of my payment came out of our bank account. This company is a rip-off and has ZERO customer service. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!!

This is a follow-up to my original post. Contacted xtralights yesterday and spoke with "Grace" if that is even her real name. Was told that she would personally refund me by the end of business yesterday. My dispute with PayPal is now escalated to a claim. They tried and tried to get me to cancel my claim with PayPal, knowing that if I did that, I would have no recourse to get my money back. I literally laughed at her. I informed her that I have dealt with PayPal for some 18 years now and the only reason they want me to cancel my claim is so they can keep my money. I told her I also knew that PayPal has already placed a hold on those funds in their account. Oh and it gets better. You see the claim of winning the Stevie Award in 2014 and 2013? Well.....we contacted the Stevie Awards as they are located in our state. Not only did they NOT win ANY award, the Stevie Awards have never heard of them and they are nowhere to be found in their system. Also, there are HUNDREDS of complaints filed with the BBB as well. We are going to report them to the California Attorney General as well as the Canadian authorities. The Stevie Awards are now investigating them for fraud. Word to the wise: DO NOT CANCEL YOUR CLAIMS WITH PAYPAL! Once you do, the matter is resolved and you will have ZERO recourse and will lose your money. Take screen shots of your order pages and keep ALL copies of emails exchanged with them. These people are crooks and every single one of them need to be thrown in jail!

One star is too much

"Ordered a new ballist after my ballist quit working yet again. Paid extra $60 to have it overnighted as I needed my car by Saturday. Was told it would arrive by Thursday. Never came. Friday and still no ballist. Called them to find out it was benign sent out on Saturday. When I told them I paid for overnight shipping and expected to be reimbursed they told me that they would only reimburse it if they pulled my part off the truck and sent it normal mail. That technically it was still overnight shipping since they were gonna be sending it out the same day they finally chose to get it from the warehouse. I asked to speak with a manager I was told she was the manager. I asked who was above her then and she told me only the owner and I couldn't talk to him as he was in China. Absolutely rediculous! I will never order from this company again. Total joke. "

Worst Customer Service Imaginable

"Placed an order for a product that was supposed to ship in a "plug and play" configuration with the bulbs already installed into the headlight fixture. Not only did the set ship WITHOUT the bulbs installed, but the bulbs themselves do not actually fit into the fixture. The wiring is entirely incompatible.

Customer service was absolutely no help whatsoever. It's impossible to get ahold of anyone and, when you finally do, they are apathetic, unconcerned, and altogether braindead. In order to return the product, they charged me $100 for shipping AND a 20% restocking fee, resulting in my paying $180 for NOTHING whatsoever other than observing both their screwup and their total refusal to fix their mistake in an acceptable and honest manner.

Let that sink in -- I paid $400 for a headlight set, and they charged me $180 just to return the item. By making the mistake of dealing with this POS business, I am out $180 (for NOTHING) and wasted weeks of my time dealing with them.

Worst company around. DO NOT purchase from them as they are untrustworthy, apathetic, and incompetent.
