Traumatizing

"VERY poor communication with them, its been 5 weeks of waiting and they dont even call u to inform u of any delays, i called and spoke with upper manager and she was completely rude and unprofessional. Called me a liar and refused to refund my order or cancel. Will never recommend anyone to buy from here EVER."

what an absolute joke

"This business has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have been attempting to have my headlights fixed since April and it is currently June and still not resolved. Here's the story:
Headlights were purchased February 16, 2018
Had lots of work needing performed so did not begin driving the vehicle until mid March.
April 3, 2018 attempted to get issue resolved using the online chat, which their automated phone system tells you to use, but got no response. (have the documentation to prove it)
April 10, 2018 attempted once again to use the online chat to the same result.
April 10, 2018 having gotten completely fed up I called in and ignored the automation telling me to use the chat and waited to speak with someone. They then informed that the online chat does not work. Awesome news to hear after their own system was telling me to use it. They then had me email them my order number which I did and to respond with pictures. I responded back with the pictures they needed. I then heard nothing.
May 12, 2018 I sent them another email stating that I had not heard anything from them and would like to know what it is going on. No response.
June 22, 2018 I call in attempting to get this issue resolved. First I wait 5 minutes then the phone cuts out. Call back and wait on hold for 25 minutes and 16 seconds just for the system to disconnect me then give me a busy tone when calling back. I have to use a separate phone to call back in on, when I do I speak to a gentleman named Steven. He then tells me that the warranty is only 90 days from purchase well good thing I have all the attempts to contact them. Then he asks what email I sent pictures to, I tell him and he puts me on hold for a couple minutes. From there he says I never responded back to them with the pictures. I tell him that's incorrect and forward the email thread showing my response. From there he tells me that I need to pay to ship my headlights back to them then they will send them back to the manufacturer then wait for the manufacturer to send the new one to them and then on to me. How in the absolute hell am I supposed to drive my car without headlights in it? Additionally why should I pay for the shipping back? This is not my fault the headlights were not sealed properly. I know that xtralights.com did not manufacture them but I say force the manufacturer to pay for the shipping not me. This is not right in the slightest. Send me my new ones so I do not have to drive without headlights then I will send you the failed ones back. If anyone would like to see the pictures and emails I can show you.

Customer NO service!

"What a joke! The customer NO service you get from these people is terrible. I simply called in to follow up on two emails that I sent via their email link on the order confirmation to cancel an order that I never got a response from. First, the lady that answered the phone didn't even answer it Xtralights, so I had to ask. Then with attitude she answered like it was a stupid question. Here's a thought, answer your business phone with the company name! Then I proceeded to tell her I was calling to follow up on 2 emails I had sent to cancel an order and her response was, "Well sir, it would help if I had a name or email address to start with" in again, a smart **** tone. So I obliged her with an order number I had right in front of me from my email. Then with even more attitude, she tells me she's going to put me on hold until I calm down before she processes my cancellation and refund. If this is any reflection of how the company conducts business with their customers, I sure am glad I canceled my order with them and went with another online vendor. Guess I wasn't as important as their website claims their customers to be. Don't waste your time or money with these people!

Bad experience

"Bought daytime running lights for Toyota tundra (XSP-X ) last week of November 2017, The running light are sell unpainted, so the can be painted with the same color as you vehicle, auto painting shops are unwilling to take the job or charge in excess of $ 200.00 , then have to be installed by a professional. For one reason or another light were finally painted the last week of February 2018, then professionally installed first week of March, the passenger side lighted 4 of the 5 LED bulbs. Called Xtralight customer department. To get replacement . Told that they will check with Spyder the company that manufactures this after market lights. Mention that there was no quality control form either company, since then I have put on hold for long time, then finally told that Xtralights warranties the products for 90 days only. In summary poor customer relations, absence of quality control, will not recommend any one this company as they do not stand before what they sell. All the excellent reviews did not talk about their product. As far as this running lights, good idea but poorly executed , not worth the money or the effort"

Stay away. Slow shipping and treat customers like ****t

"Manger handles returns and she is super rude. Told me what makes me so special cuz I asked if she could wave restocking fee. Shipping says it ships usually in 24 hours and it took a week to leave the warehouse. She said "that's the problem with YOU CUSTOMER'S. you assume it will ship the next day but it doesn't guarantee it. I said well at least 2 or 3 days to ship not a whole week. Very rude manager how does she still have a job? Plus takes 2-4 weeks for a refund with 20% return fee"

Very Poor Products and Support

"I ordered replacement headlight assemblies for a 1997 GMC Suburban. These assemblies included Spyder HID headlight bulbs and HID high beam bulbs. The HID bulbs were problematic from the initial install. The passenger side worked for a while, then worked intermittently and then quit working over a period of a couple of weeks. Called customer support and was never able to get anyone to respond. Called sales department and was told they could not help me and that I much contact customer support. Called customer service again and received the same results. Called the sales department and asked to speak the sales person that I originally placed the order with. He said he would send me a replacement bulb and ballast, which he did. We installed that bulb and ballast. It worked for a week or so then started working intermittently and stayed that way. Called customer support again multiple times and when I was able to get someone to answer, they asked me for my order number and looked it up and then placed me on hold and no one ever came back to my call. Called Sales again like I wanted to purchase additional products and was transferred to the person I placed my origianl order with. He suggested that I call Spyder Tech Support which I did. He basically told me they did not recommend the HID bulbs for this vehicle. From this point on I was trying to contact customer support which was never successful and sales department to get an authorization to return the products and receive a refund so I could buy them somewhhere else.

Dishonest Company

"I was directly lied to by their VERY RUDE "manager" multiple times. They blocked my phone number after I sent the product back to them and never responded to phone messages, e-mails or letters. I am including my correspondence letter below so that you know what you are dealing with if you use this company. I had to contact my bank and have the charges reversed. This only worked temporarily because they claimed to my bank that I had already received a refund. My bank reversed the reversal and I was out the money and the product once again. When I showed up at my bank in person and explained the whole situation with receipts and return documentation they re-reversed my monies back into my account permanently. This process took 3 months. This company are EXPERIENCED RIP-OFF ARTISTS: BEWARE

I am returning the headlamp set I ordered on December 18, 2016, for the reasons below:
• These headlamps do not fit my 2000 Jeep Cherokee as they were advertised on your website.
• The front to back dimensions on the lamps are 3/4" to 1" too long, which I discovered when I attempted to fit the front left headlamp.
• I determined that I would have to cut out a 3" diameter hole in the body behind each headlamp in order to make them fit.
• No instructions were sent with the order and are not even available, per Customer Service.

After I attempted to fit the left front headlamp, I called Xtralights Customer Service. They asked me to send an e-mail with photos of my problem. I sent an e-mail with photos on December 26th, 2016 and again on December 29th complete with measurements. I received no response either time. (Copy attached).

Today, December 30th, 2016 I called Customer Service again (third time) to discuss my email with pictures. I was told by Joanne, Customer Service Manager, that I would indeed have to modify my Jeep's body by cutting a 3" hole behind each headlamp to accommodate the headlamp's extra length. Again I asked if there was an instruction sheet or video to go with my specific purchase. She told me there is not an instruction sheet available for this product. When I asked how is someone supposed to install these without knowing that they are not "bolt on" as advertised, she said "they are an aftermarket product and [I] should have expected to have to make modifications." She also told me that "we don't make them, we just sell them." I reminded her that the website said they are "bolt on" and "plug and play." She responded saying that "only the wiring is plug and play," which is not true either since there is additional non-stock wires to deal with on these headlamp units. Joanne also informed me that I will be charged a restocking fee if I return them. (Listed as 20-30%)
This is unacceptable!!!!!!!
As I stated above, I am returning this product as it is not as advertised on your web site and does not fit my vehicle without significant modification. Had I known I would have to modify the body of my Jeep, I never would have bought these headlamps.
Please take this opportunity to do the right thing and issue me a full refund without restocking fees in the amount of $239.95. Please notify me by email as soon as you have received the return and again when you have processed my full refund.
I had to take legal action thru my bank to wrest my money back from these professional thieves.

Horrible Service and Products

"I ordered headlights from the company. They did not come fully assembled for the price of $500. I have searched for another option and called them to ask questions, however, they have not returned my phone calls and have consistently hung up on me when "they are getting a technician". They also take an additional 10% inspection fee for returned products which is not disclosed in their return policy. I am going to have to return the headlights because there is seems to be no way to fix their screw up."

"I ordered a set of lights from this company a few years ago. Paid for them but they never showed up and they didn't care. They insisted that I had received them. Now I give them a crappy rating every time I find a new place to do it. "

Canceled my order said ill be refunded and they havnt

"Canceled my order the day i ordered them due to realizing they were the wrong lights. Was told the refund will take up to 10 days, almost a month later still no refund and I already know im not getting it back. Ive called over a dozen time with the same message saying ive reached their buisness after hours and try again during those hours when its clearly in those hours. Emailed twice with no response. Dont and I repeat dont do buisness with them I dont know how or why they are still able to carry on stealing money but I know better for the next time I order online. "

Worst products and customer service

"I purchased a brand new aftermarket pair of headlights through that company.

When I received them, the passenger side unit was defective out of the box (damaged light bulb lock mechanism).

When I installed them, after I received the replacement passenger side unit, I realized that the HID light kit that they sell as a package with the headlights does not fit the headlights. Those 2 products are not compatible!!! I gave up on the Xenon kit and I just installed the headlights with the regular halogen bulbs that came with them. At the first car-wash after the install, the driver side unit came out all foggy. Water got into it. I noticed a spot where the back plastic part and the clear front part was not properly sealed. This was clearly a manufacturing defect. I sent them an email telling that I would like to return the product.

I never got a reply, even after sending a follow up email.

I called today and the woman I got on the phone just told me that I had a 30 days period to return the product and hung up on me. There has not been 30 day between the time I received the replacement unit (09/14) part and the time I sent my complaint (08/10). I could not have installed anything before I received my replacement unit.

By the way I received an insulting text message saying "Hijo d puta imegrante" from an unknown number 10 min after called them . So, if you get insults from ***-***-****. It's probably from them...

WTF

"I ordered their advertised halo headlights. After a few attempts to pay, their website said my card was declined. So I ordered from another company. A few days later a box showed up at my door with some crap for headlights that didn't even resemble halos. They took the money out of my account. No reciept. No confirmation. No bill of sale. Nothing but a box of crap. This so-called customer service manager said that they will take it back after we pay for shipping and a 20% restocking fee. They also said sometimes their confirmations don't get through. What bulls&#t!! WTF"

If i could give a 0 rating I would.

"I order lights for my dodge truck. There website said "plug and play". It even showed pictures with lights plugging into the truck. I got lights with 6 wires our the back. got on there live chat and tried to explain what happened. The chat person said i was wrong and should just plug them in. I sent picture of the wires coming out the back of the lights. Clearly not what I ordered. They never responded and it has now been over 3 weeks and no refund. I contacted today and they said it was refunded 2 days ago on my card. I checked and no transactions on my card. They clearly say on there web site 100% customer satisfaction. Clearly they are lying."

Can't believe these criminals are still in business

"If I could give 0 stars I would. Same as the story of others.. ordered tail lamps, did not fit. Went through their return rigmarole (even shipped the package back on the same day I received it, unopened), never heard anything. Dozens if not hundreds of attempts to reach anyone of authority - customer service zero. Management - zero. Was hung up on I can't tell you how many times. No refund, no lamps- they essentially stole my money. Avoid this company at all costs. "
