"I purchased a Taylor guitar and before the purchase I emailed this organization to make sure that this instrument was sound and "without cracks," after all, Taylor guitars are notorious for top-plate cracks.
We agreed on a price and I purchased the guitar, which arrived on June 23, 2021. I opened the box and guitar case and what do you suppose? I contacted World Music Supply, then spoke to their president-Jason Stubble who agreed to refund my purchase and their REFUND policy is called "No Hassle Refunds."
They emailed me a label and that same day I shipped the guitar back to World Music Supply. The next day, I had not received a refund. I contacted them and was told that it takes 2-3 days for a refund to clear. Five days later, Monday 6-27-2021, I still had not received a refund. That reflects their integrity and ethical practices."

"I bought a guitar that arrived with a little tiny ding in it. I called and they graciously accepted my return and even sent FedEx to pick it back up. That's where the good part ends. That was two weeks ago. they never followed up on the return so I've called them several times to ask about the instrument. Yesterday they told me it shows that it had been delivered to someone else and that they would call FedEx about it. Why wasn't I refunded my money right then? FedEx told them they lost it and they told me that they would not process a refund until FedEx completed a tracer on the package. So basically I'm out $400, I have no guitar, and I've been limping through gigs with my old guitar for the last 2 weeks. This issue is with FedEx and I don't understand why I am being made to suffer for that. Beware."

"Just ran onto these questionable reviews on World Music Supply and felt compelled to share my considerable excellent purchase experience with them, with others. This is as fantastic of a place to purchase gear from as anywhere and folks should know that! I often use reviews, but so far have never personally written one before now. I’m 58 years old and have been playing and collecting nice guitars on and off for 40 years or so. I’ve owned well over 200 guitars and most have been higher end ($2-4K range). I’ve always liked to try lots of gear, so I’ve purchased a LOT from ALL over and feel I’d have to be one of the most qualified to honestly write this review. I first started doing the majority of my purchasing from World Music Supply when I learned of DBZ/Diamond guitars, which I LOVE. Over many years I’ve purchased a lot of gear from them including numerous DBZs and one Diamond guitar along with amps, accessories, etc. World Music Supply has always offered up great deals and with unsurpassed customer service to me. I’ve even been through a couple of returns to them. One was unfortunately damaged in shipment and they were about as good as anyone out there with processing the returns. I just recently purchased a new Diamond Monarch guitar (fabulous, high quality and high value) from them and they were still just as awesome, as always. You need to do yourself a favor and check out Diamond guitars too! They have taken DBZ (now Diamond Guitars) to several higher levels and improvements and those guitars are now about as good as it gets. Where you nearly get all you CAN with a much more expensive guitar, but at a way more affordable price! I’ve replaced a lot of my really spendy guitars with Diamond guitars because they have the build quality, looks, feel and sound without having nearly as much money ****. If you can live with imitation mother of pearl and maybe not as fancy of inlays, that’s about all you’ll have to give up. You’ll lose nearly nothing and you’ll save money so you can then buy more Diamond guitar models to enjoy. I inquired about this latest Diamond Monarch guitar in an online note after hours (and I think it was also on the weekend). I thought I’d hear back on Monday, but I actually heard back in an email from the company President that same night. How’s that for service and being engaged? Because they have treated me so well, I always check first with World Music Supply to see if they carry what I’m looking for at the time. You should too, these guys are great! BUY HERE! :)"

"World Music Supply is the best store that I know of. Period. They have the most knowledgeable sales people and they don't get paid on commission, so they have no incentive to sell the more expensive item. I returned something to them twice with no issues at all. You have to see the actual store as well, it's really one of a kind."

"Abysmal service from this company. I ordered a guitar which arrived damaged sent back and they charged me return shipping and refuse to refund it. I spoke with their returns representative and the owner and they wouldn't help, just argue.

Jason (the owner) claimed "it's not realistic for us to go and inspect every guitar we send out."

Per their return policy "We reserve the right to open and inspect any item before shipping. The majority of stringed instuments are opened and inspected, so it is likely to be re-taped. If you want an item in a factory sealed box, not inspeted, and want to assume the risk, please call and request this in advance."

I can tell from the typos and sales tactics anyone with common sense would do themselves a favor by shopping elsewhere. "
