But these guys have put together a computer that is so attention to detail that L33T is underestimation. Looking forward to moving to the top of my league. The tweaking of this computer is hardcore. Had trouble with my own peripherials and the english speaking (had to throw that in there) intelligent tech support got me running and informed me of other things with my computer. And they were as proud of my machine as I am."

"Even though widowpc states that they are a high end computer vendor, I didn't understand really what that meant until I starting communicating with their sales and tech support staff. I held off reviewing this company for a few months after my purchase to really see what this company is made of. I'm *so* impressed.

I feel like I've moved up from McDonald's to the Four Seasons. It's a real positive experience to really feel like the person you are talking to on the other end of the phone understands your needs and addresses them in a very honest, straight forward, caring manner. "These guys are great! I originally ordered the 517M laptop in early may. I quickly received an e-mail from them saying that they would have a slight delay in shipping due to some motherboard issues, but that they upgraded my shipping to next day air, and offered to pay ME $50 for every day past the ship date they gave me. I didn't mind waiting, but only a few days later I went on the WidowPC website and noticed that their newer model, the sting 517D (Intel dual core) had been released! I started thinking, "if only I had waited!", "it’s too late now; I'm stuck with a Pentium M when the new 517 is an Intel dual core!”. I called WidowPC up and told them my situation, and they did something I never expected. They caught my laptop on the day it was to ship out, took it back to the factory and upgraded it to the newer model for only the increased cost of the processor (only about $100). No restocking fee, no hesitation, and no questions asked. I now have an amazing Sting 517D laptop that totally blows me away. I would like to see you call up dell and ask them to upgrade a system they had already finished production on and were preparing to ship! These guys are great and are always sincere and quick to answer on the phone."

Computer arrived on June 5th 2006.
Has been nothing but trouble.
WidowPC customer support treated me wrong so far.
As of now I am in despair and am very upset at WidowPc and their "fanatical customer support" and "quality product"

I wish I could post my whole review, but since resellerratings does not allow more than 5120 characters to be posted, this what I have to due with.

However I am more than glad to e-mail to anyone my real review, which exceeds five pages. It is very detailed and explains all the problems, and treatment that I have been receiving in the 5 days since my computer arrived. Send me a PM, and I will glady e-mail them to you."

"I purchased a gaming PC from this company on November 26, 2005. It was their top of the line model. I have had a problem with the powering ON/OFF of the computer. The problem was so severe that I had to send the computer back to Widowpc Inc.. Widowpc Inc. has had my computer since the first week of April. One week after another, I had to call to find the status of my computer. First, I was told it was a problem with one of the processor. Second, I was told it was the motherboard. Last, on Monday, April 24, 2006, I was told that the problem is with one of the video cards and that Widowpc Inc. was just waiting for a replacement part. This is poor customer service, a "lemon" for a new product, and I will never recommend Widowpc Inc.'s products to anyone, not even my worst enemy.
April 28, 2006. I spoke with sales manager, but nothing positive to report. He made no effort to compensate for my loss and all he would say is "great machine". He added that M. and R. were fired because of their actions with customers' products, but that has nothing to do to resolve my issue.
May 5, 2006: I am still waiting for compensation.
My credit card company awarded my refund back."

"Life has taught us that when advertisments states something that "sounds too good to be true," you better watch out. WidowPc has proven that the Sting 517M system is as good as advertized and better than any Alienware, Dell, Toshiba laptop that I have tested.

My laptop performance is off the charts! Beautiful, sharp, picture images, speed to burn (my grandson plays the latest Doom 3 and Halflife games flawlessly)and so much more.

I've traveled extensively, played and worked with many government issued and borrowed laptops. But nothing has come close to this, a true desktop replacement with class.

"Thanks for the great service and of course the system as well. The computer shipped exactly in the time period (7-10 days) that the website describes, and the package arrived safe and secure! The personal phone call to inform me of the shipment is a really nice touch I appreciated.

The only issue was the DVD burner drive not being recognized by the system until I unplugged it and replugged the cables back in. But for that being the only issue, I am more than pleased..!
Great performance for what I use the system for (some gaming, lots of multitasking with burning and sound editing). Now I can finally begin to get more into gaming as well! Will purchase again in the future certainly. Thanks :)"

"I ordered a Widow FX SLI in October of 2005. I did a LOT of research looking for a company that could supply me with the best/fastest computer for gaming. I looked at and rejected many companies before I finally found Widow PC.

When I called their sales dept. I explained that I wasn't really all that familiar with hardware choices and they walked me through each and every step of the ordering process explaining what each item was in plain English so that I could make my decisions for a computer that was just what I wanted.

I've had the computer for just about 3 months now and I LOVE it. First of all it's just the coolest looking thing ever and all my friends are "pea green with envy" when they see it.

But the performance? In a word -- Amazing! I never lag anymore -- no slowdowns, even when hundreds of other characters are on the screen. I am a force to be reckoned with in pvp now too! Wheee!

With my other computer, a rogue could sneak up on me and the action on screen would be so choppy and laggy that I'd be dead before I could turn around. Not so anymore.

Of course the down side is that I can no longer blame my computer if I lose the fight.

I highly recommend Widow PC to everyone -- except to the people on the Spirestone server in World of Warcraft who should buy some other brand of computer so I can keep winning in pvp. :)"

"Had this computer for little over 2 months now and is running great. Plus the price if you compare it to say... Dell... The leading computer company in the world... I would of paid ALOT more for a laptop with the same specs, but from WidowPC I got exactly what I wanted for a good price. Also, I got my system withing a week and a half. Now I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure that's fast in the gaming world. The thing I like the most is when my friends talk about how good their desktop computers are I can say that mine is just as good or, in most cases, better then their's and it's a laptop. I mean I play MMORPG's and can run multiple accts on my computer at once + ventrilo + my instant messengers + look stuff up on the net when I need it. I would recommend, and have recommended people to WidowPC anytime they want to buy a REAL gaming computer."

"I bought a loaded Sting 917. It was pricey, but I wanted quality from top to bottom and the 917 delivers. I don't do a lot of gaming, but I do run some fairly intensive business applications and I wanted horsepower and reliability in a portable package.

The tech support is as good as the hardware, and the hardware is excellent.

I have been very pleased with my laptop, but recently I lost my internet connection. I called the cable company and wore out their tech. No joy.

Then I called Widow's 24/7 support and got a tech who despite a lot of manipulations, still could not reestablish my internet connection. So I waited a couple of days and called back and got Joshua. He got me backup within an hour (after his closing time. Come to find out he started the company! Talk about service! Thanks Joshua. The support, like the hardware, is first rate. I find that to be rare these days. Keep up the good work! "

"I bought from WidowPC after cancelling an Alienware order (I waited over two months for it and never received it). The guys at Widow were polite. Evin helped me with my order and even talked me out of buying components I didn't need! I'm a gamer and I know games but don't really know hardware so it's nice to see someone so helpful with explaining what the machine does. Evin told me what each component did and why I should get it. I was left with the feeling that I had bought exactly the machine I wanted.

When I got my machine I was absolutely amazed its performance - I never knew Morrowind looked like that! I also play BF2 and was surprised to see just how much my game improved because of hardware performance. I didn't realize so much of my lag was caused by my own hardware.

In short, very happy with my computer. I'm definitely coming back to Widow after this computer nears the end of its life."

"I purchase a 517M from widow pc in April. My first impression was awe, this is a great machine. Second impression after messing with it a while was amazement, this machine makes my other computers look like they bark and leave brown things on the carpet.

I had one tech issue with the built in camera, I had inadvertantly pushed function F11 and turned it off. The only other issue was the wireless card had some spotty coverage. After downloading the latest drivers for the card I am in computer heaven.

I have done business with most of the big name computer companies and many of the smaller ones, WidowPC stands head and shoulders above the others. AMERICAN tech support! and they are willing to stay on the phone until the issue is resolved! I can't say enough good about these guys."
