Returning a defective product

"I purchased a baby monitor from well.ca, but unfortunately, I couldn't get the camera to connect to the wifi. I followed the manufacturer's troubleshooting guidelines but still had no luck. In my desperation, I contacted well.ca customer service and explained my predicament. I urgently needed a functional baby monitor and wanted to return the product. However, they directed me to the manufacturer instead.

I spent another week testing the camera as per the manufacturer's instructions, but it turned out to be defective. I contacted well.ca customer service again and explained my situation, requesting a refund for the faulty product.

I made sure to request assistance in a polite manner and explained that I had a newborn and needed to resolve the issue quickly. However, it took me two weeks to finally resolve the issue.

If you happen to receive a defective product, it's important to note that returning it may not be a straightforward process. The company may require you to deal with the manufacturer first before honouring a return. This can be frustrating for both the customer and their overall experience with the business.

Poor Shipping

"Ordered from well.ca for years, and it's always been slow. Packages are not shipped out for days, and items often arrive damaged. Customer service is unresponsive, and prices are too high."

Dangerously Unreliable

"For the third time in a row, Well.ca failed to deliver my prescription. I only have enough for tonight, now, and I'm not supposed to go cold turkey. They're closed tonight and for the next two full days. I have no way of transferring my prescription. I'm in big trouble thanks to them.

Don't waste your time and money.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH WELL.CA!

"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH WELL.CA! Don't use the Interac or Pay Pal option otherwise they debit your account and order doesn't go through and you're out the money for 2-3 business days. Two transactions were debited from my account and I was out over $600! I was tossed around from Well.ca and my bank for over two hours trying to get the issue resolved. Well.ca won't take responsibility, but passed the buck to Interac and my bank. So, now I'm out over $600 until possibly Wednesday. Bills to pay and kids to feed. I don't recommend Well.ca to anyone. If you have a problem, they won't be of any help to resolve it.

I like it

"I have used Well.ca 3 times now & prices reasonable, so far no gouging & good selection. It’s nice to be able to see what is out of stock, my only problem is the site is a little difficult to navigate quickly but can be learned & I wish they would give better shipping information. Worth the effort especially if you can’t go out to shop."

Lousy unreliable product and unresponsive customer service

"I ordered a sound machine from them - Whish by Marpac, and though it is supposed to have a one year warranty, they refused to (1) honour it or (2) provide me with contact information for the company. Instead, they gave me contact information for another company to ask them for help (unrelated to Marpac or Well.ca). Of course when I reached out I got nowhere. When I went back to them they continued to refuse to honour the warranty or give me Marpac’s contact information. So I’m out 65$ with very little recourse as Marpac has no findable customer service either. Avoid!!! Find another company to give your hard earned money to!"

Long time customer of Well.ca no longer buying from them.

"I have purchased from Well.ca for many years. But today I sent in an order and then within 2 minutes contacted them to change my shipping address. I was told that not only could I NOT change my shipping address, that I could also not cancel the order and set up a new order. What? Wow. What a joke of a company. Amazon does a better job of being focused on customer service. Never again. I even own an ecommerce company myself and if my team or my system was this bad, I would hang my head in shame."

Slow and Ridiculously Expensive

"Takes 3 BUSINESS days to ship orders which means it can take FIVE days if the weekend is involved so it often takes a week or more before you receive your order which these days is completely unacceptable.

Their markup is obscene. Everything is significantly more expensive than elsewhere and some items are literally twice the price.

So if you like to pay WAY more than you have to and you like to wait... and wait... and wait for your order, then by all means shop at Well.ca because you'll love it! But if you're like me and you like to receive your order fast and you don't want to be charged twice as much as the competitors, then avoid this place because, honestly, they don't carry anything that you can't get anywhere else. Even their sales are often more expensive than other stores.

"For the first time I placed an order on well.ca and I am happy with it. Good prices (better than in stores), timely deliver (7 days as they said they would), good packaging of the ordered items, nothing missing, plus a nice 'thank you" note :)

GREAT COMPANY!!!!

"I have been buying online with Well.ca for a 2 years now, and all I can tell is; very easy shopping, great prices, great products, but their Customer Service is EXCEPTIONAL!
Very professional and customer orientated; customer is number one for them!
I would recommend Well.ca to anyone in a blink of the eye!
In this world when people are rude and disrespectful, especially businesses taking on. customers; if I could, I would have given Well.ca 10 stars!!!!
And NO, I did NOT get any free stuff to write my review, I am just simply very happy and satisfied customer!

Waiting waiting

"Customer service great. But it takes at least 3 days for this company to process orders. Or so they say! Deva explains they are often out of product so customer must wait for restocking! Then at least I mean at
least 10 days after shipping to receive! In this day and age not acceptable. Surprisingly some orders will come within few days 1 item orders but bigger orders never!
