"I placed an order with WeGotBetterDeals and the tracking said one week. everything was on time but at the end it had the dropped off at post office which added one day to the order. So i ordered on a Friday and i got it eight days later on a Saturday. I see some negative comments on here about their shipping but my experience with them was very good. I would order again from them. Maybe the negative comments were all made by competitors. lol Nothing was damaged and very happy with all so they get five stars on all and n/a on customer service because no interaction was necessary. "

"Stay away from this company. I bought two items. One was broken from the get go. When I called the company the representative was unnecessarily rude (so much that it would have been almost humorous if I hadn't been so annoyed) and simply said that there was nothing they could do. They don't even attempt to stand behind their products and treat you as though you're an idiot for pointing out that they're defective."

"DO not buy a single thing from this scam of a company! They have the worst return policy EVER!!! They ship it to you weeks later and then say you can only return the piece of overrated crap they should never have charged you TAX for in the first place (scam) and say oopsy! You ordered it weeks earlier so no deal.
STAY CLEAR OF THIS SCAM COMPANY!!
FRAUD!! THEY ARE THE WORST EVER!!

"I am a technologist and I saw a great price on their site for a refurbished Panasonic camcorder. Then I looked at their ratings on this site and I saw a pattern here. They either get 1 star or 5 stars and never anything in between.As a professional who spends a lot of time on ratings sites, this pattern means to me that most of the positive ratings are probably written by people working for the company in question. These are employees of the company who are trying to clean up a highly questionable and tarnished reputation. Please look at the posts dated July 6, 2009. You will see that someone from the company came here tried rather lamely to address some of the customer dissatisfaction here. You will also see that someone also left a glowing review for the company on that day. It seems to me that this makes every other positive review of the company made here rather suspect."

"I recently made a purchase from WeGotBetterDeals. The item was advertised as BRAND NEW and UNOPENED on EBay. (they also have a direct site) My item arrived and it was not only opened it was used!

I figured hey stuff happens so I would just reach out the them to get a replacement. This is where it went from bad to worse. The customer service I received was horrible and they were down right rude. They actually sent me a note (and I quote) "We all know this item was and is Brand New" I could not believe they had sent something like this to me.


In the end I will probably get stuck with the item as they wanted me to pay for return shipping and the value and my time does not make it worth the trouble.


I starting doing some searches on them for reviews and found an abundance of people that had very similar stories to what happened to me across many of the review sites. I sure wish I would have checked them out first as I would of just moved on and made my purchase elsewhere.


One of the review sites that stood out to me was www.wegotbetterdealsreviews.com


This site had a wealth of information specific to WeGotBetterDeals and included links to many other sites with reviews so it made it easier to check them out.


Hopefully this information will help somebody else avoid an unpleasant experience.

"I feel compelled to add my voice to those who express concern about dealing with wegotbetterdeals. My problem is that they lie to you and take unilateral action in regard to your purchase without your permission. In my case, the company apparently shipped my purchase and the USPS failed to deliver it even though their tracking information showed it delivered. The USPS then returned the item when it was not claimed. No notice of attempted delivery was left with me. I was advised by wegotbetterdeals that they would check their warehouse and forward the item upon its return. 9 days later, without hearing from the company, I inquired as to its status. The company told me they did not get the unit back, and “we only show still unclaimed at your local post office.” Yet, the tracking information clearly showed that the item had been returned to the company by the USPS two weeks earlier. I pointed this out to the company and suggested that it appeared they were not trying to locate the package and effect the delivery. I asked for a prompt response. The response I got was the company tried to place the blame on me and say they had refunded my purchase price as a result of my earlier initial inquiry. The truth is the company did refund my money, but only after I had pointed out their lack of effort and asked for the prompt response. The company made no effort to communicate the true aspect of the situation in an attempt to resolve the issue to the satisfaction of the customer as well as the company. The company rather chose to take the punitive measure to deprive me of my bargain and refuse to deliver the item I had paid for over a month before. The real issue is that the company would lie to me and the post office to try to make the company look good. The timing of my email and the timing of the refund to PayPal clearly show the company was lying. If they would lie about this matter, they would lie about anything else which should cause concern for any potential buyer. In my opinion, the lower cost of an item is not worth the aggravation of having to deal with this company. Let the buyer beware."

"I purchased a refurbished razor that would never charge from the time I took it out of the box. I spoke with the customer service people 3 times via email and never got a solution. I am stuck with a razor that does not work and I'm out $34.75. Don't trust this site. They will send you a product that does not work and expect you to pay to ship it off for warranty work. If it doesn't work out of the box then they should cover all costs to replace it."

"I purchased a refurbished Panasonic DVR. It was dead upon receipt. OK, this happpens. Wegotbetterdeals instructed me to send the unit to Panasonic for repair. But I had to pay for the shipping to the repair center (~$16), something I should not have had to do. I requested a $16 credit from Wegotbetterdeals but they were totally unresponsive. So I effectively had to pay an additional $16 for the item.

Don't take a chance with these guys. Pay a little more and buy from a company that values its customers.

"Well I was at first pleased that this company got my order out by Monday which I had ordered on Sunday until I found out that they really never had my order sent. I received a billing information from UPS and I never seen the package move on UPS website. So then I called after third day of no movement and person I spoke to came up with every excuse for the reason the package wasn't being seen in transit. He even had the nerve to call to the shipping department to see if someone had signed for the package to go out. Yea...he said someone signed it out Monday. No way any of this is true. I am a reseller too. I know the business and have for 4 years. This is what UPS said today Thursday:

"Don't listen to any of these complaints. I purchased an Olympus digital camera from Wegotbetterdeals and will be back for more. They are the easiest online company I have ever dealt with.

That do have better deals and great customer service to go along with it.

"This was a bad experience period. Purchased a camera that was refurbished but was totally dead on arrival. I know this as I am a professional photographer . It was dead. Not working. Called WGBD and was treated with hostility and abruptness then sent to the manufacturer for a return authorization. They had no clue what I was talking about. Made a report with Pay Pal and they said they would have taken it back but now they won't because I asked Pay Pal to help me out. I mean really, grow up , it's your KARMA ! I should have read more of these bad reviews !"

"THIS COMPANY WILL MAKE IT RIGHT IF YOU GIVE THEM A CHANCE!

I had a defective item from this company and they were on TOP OF IT and their SERVICE was very prompt and communications was almost immediate. Defective stuff may slip through, but this company is all about helping their customers. Most people DON'T GIVE THEM A CHANCE!
