"Like most of the people below I placed my order before the 17th which was their cut off date to make it before Christmas and like everyone else they screwed me in not letting me know the item was in fact not in stock. I emailed them to complain and they gave me some generic answer about how that only applies to items in stock yada yada yada. I'm fine with that but when they don't tell you if the item is in stock or not it creates problems because people think they will be getting it. I replied back to that email I got from them and it has been 7 days since and I have not gotten a response back. I'd put negative stars if I could."

"I wish I had looked at this website before ever ordering from this pathetic seller. I had the same experience as so many seem to have had with them. I ordered the Hobbit Bluray set on 15 December with garuanteed delivery before 24 Christmas printed on my receipt. Well guess what folks!! No email explaining a delay and no delivery before Christmas. When I emailed them on 23 Dec I received no reply 6 days later on 29 Dec this is what I received "Hi, Thank you for contacting WB Shop.I apologize. Unfortunately we were experiencing a minor backorder on this item at the time. We apologize for any inconvienence this has caused you.If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us again. Regards,James

Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST. I called them to ask why it took 6 days to reply to my email and why I wasn't notified well ahead of time if they knew the item was backordered and I wouldn't receive it by Christmas as there printed garuantee stated on my receipt. all I got was its not our policy to notify you unless the back order is a lengthy one. When I aske dwhat constituted a lengthy one they avioded teh question. The same thing happened when I asked what they do to compensate a customer who they garuarteed delivery to but then didn't deliver. THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. In fact when I told the representative I would file a complaint on line, She responsed "go ahead file a negative complaint' but that's our policy and we don't change it even if we did garuantee you receipt by Christmas"
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD IN MY 47 years.I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN AND I HOPE OTHERS WILL READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE SHOPPING WITH THEM

"Never, never, never will I order from WB Shop again. Ordered a Blu-Ray disk on 12/17. Receipt (and their site) clearly stated that it would ship in ONE day, ensuring it would arrive before Christmas. As it was a gift, this greatly influenced my decision to order from them. However on 12/21, the status still showed as "In Process'. When I sent an e-mail complaining and suggesting that they now need to send it via overnight mail, the status on my order then changed to 'Sent via USPS' ON A SUNDAY NIGHT!! I guess they see me as too stupid to know that the USPS does not pick up/deliver on Sundays. Obviously, they changed the status just to shut me up (and to avoid having to overnight my package). Twice I asked that my issue be escalated to management. Both times Chyanne and Sheryl ignored my request. I finally received the gift..2 days AFTER Christmas. Never again.
Edit 12/31: WBshop refunded my full purchase price! Looks like they may be cleaning up their act. They satisfied me at least!

"Worst service period. Don't buy anything from these people. ordered Pacific Rim because I received an email from them stating that I could watch it now on UV and would own it 10/15 when it was available. Never got any UV code. Couldn't contact customer service until Monday 10/14 to get code and they said they didn't have any such promotion. Tried to cancel order but couldn't because it was "in process". Didn't get any info from them until Friday 10/18, 6 days after my purchase, that it just shipped! Most lousy service, shipping, customer service I have ever experienced."

"I see a lot of negative reviews for WBshop.com here, and I don't intend to question anyone else's reports of their experiences, but I can tell you that I've made purchases from their store half a dozen times now and I've had nothing but good dealings with them. They have frequent sales (join their mailing list to keep informed, if you wish--but you *will* get a message every two or three days), and they almost always offer free shipping on DVD and Blu-ray purchases.

All of my orders with them have been for optical media, and they've always arrived reasonably quickly (especially when you consider that the shipping is free) and in great shape. My most recent order, for the "Doctor Who--The Tennant Years" set, even came double-boxed.

I'm very surprised at the poor overall rating WBshop.com has gotten here--I can tell you for a fact that I've been nothing but pleased with the multiple orders I've placed with them over the last year or more. I can't say anything about their customer service because I've never been given a reason to use it. I intend to continue confidently purchasing from WB's online store; they've been consistently good to me.

"VERY slow shipping. I pre-ordered The Hobbit, thinking it would be shipped on (or before) the release date. I received an email 6 days after the release date claiming the item was shipped 3 days earlier (I don't buy it). I finally received the item 10 days after the release date."

"Tried to order two DVDs at a discounted price and got prompted with a "the order could not be processed" so I tried again 3 times on different devices.. So I went to check my bank account and they charged me 4 times for the items... that's over 88 dollars for 2 DVDs. I REALLY hope they give me my money back or I will definitely find a way to ruin them."

"wbshop is the worst of the worst.

CS is dreadful. These people hate their jobs and aren't afraid to let you know about it. I feel bad for them since they live in MI, which has suffered incredible job losses, and I'm sure they're making minimum wage, but that's still not an excuse to act unprofessionally.

Good luck getting your emails answered. Your odds are at best 50/50, and there's no telling when they'll reply, assuming they even bother.

Ship times are absolutely unreal. Some orders go weeks, even months before being fulfilled. They've sat on my orders for as long as a month without the courtesy of an email to notify me of the delay.

The packaging is very sloppy. Your media will not be well protected by their shipping materials.

They also made a mistake with my order, shipping only 2 of the 3 items I ordered.

I hate this place with a passion. WB could very well be the worst e-tailer on the planet.

"I had a great initial experience with WB Shop when I purchased a 5 DVD movie set -- the price was fantastic and delivery was sooner than expected. However, the 5th DVD was defective. After several back and forth emails and then a phone call I discovered that WB Shop has a very unsatisfactory returns & exchanges policy.

It clearly states: "You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us (except in the case of a damaged, defective, or incorrect item)."

What they do not state on the website: You must pay for the shipping cost at the time you return the item and then WB SHop will reimburse you UP TO $5 SHIPPING COST.

This is quite unfair in light of the fact that I wouldn't have to return the item if it were not defective in the first place. I understand the need to keep down the shipping costs of returns, but WB Shop should send out a return label to a customer who needs to return a defective item as a way to keep control of the costs, rather than impose a $5 cap that is not a reasonable amount to ship an item through the Post Office or other carriers.

I'm honestly debating not bothering with the return since I'll end up going through the same nonsense if my replacement DVD set also contains a defective movie.

But there is no question that I will not be a repeat customer of WB Shop because of the returns & exchanges policy.

"I couldn't find the Batman Anthology Blu-Ray set anywhere but WBShops, so I placed an order for two copies (one for me, and one for a birthday gift). Placed the order on 7/29/12. Website said ships in 10 days, so I figured that was plenty of time to get the items by 8/18/12 (my friend's birthday). When no shipping info was available on the website after 12 days, I e-mailed customer service. The response I received on 8/13 told me that the item had been back ordered, but "good news," we "just got them back in stock" and the item would ship "soon." Two days later, still no shipping confirmation, and very likely no birthday gift. When I tried calling customer service about this, I got a "what do you want me to do about it" attitude from the person on the other end of the phone. They have certainly lost a customer here."

"On July 12 I ordered a Dark Knight Rises iPhone case for my best friend's birthday. I was sent an order confirmation and the money was withdrawn from my account. Two days later I received a voicemail from the wb shop "as a courtesy call" about my order. I assumed if there was a problem I would get an email but I didn't. I called back a few days later, after a long back and forth with customer service she said they just wanted me to confirm my order. Which is odd to me. They hadn't even made my case yet. So they took 2 days to make the case then shipped it on July 24. I received the case 4 days later and it was the wrong one. I ordered a iPhone 4 case they sent me an iPhone 3 case which won't fit. My email confirmation and packing slip both said iPhone 4 but they sent me an iPhone 3. I called customer service they apologized and said they would have a new one sent and I could keep the old one (since they make them per order they had no need for me to return it). So 6 days pass since they didn't decide to ship it any quicker to me. The new case arrives and it is the wrong one again! It is the iPhone 3 case with an iPhone 4 sticker on the package. But the packing slip says iPhone 3. My mom calls this time and the lady was rude and says she will need to check the order, to see if we were lying obviously, when my mom asked the correct case be overnighted. 3 days pass my mom calls back and asks for a manager he says he will send it. The 3rd case has shipped and I am awaiting its arrival almost a month after the original order. They have never once offered to give me my money back give me overnight shipping or anything and I still don't have my friends very late birthday present. The most incompetent people ever. Never again will I buy from them"

"I placed my order on 7/12/12. I thought it would be great to have the Christopher Nolan collection on bluray. I ordered it so that I could watch the movies before the Dark Knight Rises came out. Nope. Though, after waiting a week with no update on the website, I emailed a rep. A day later I get an email back that says it was back-ordered, but they are getting it in next week. That week has come and gone, still no update on when it is going to ship. I don't mind waiting, though I would like to know when it is going to ship. They will never tell me what is going on and I'm left in the dark. Unacceptable. This is why I use more sophisticated sites that actually track inventory and inform the customer of delays. Sorry WBshop, never again. First and last purchase."

"I recently was searching online to get my mom a mother's day gift and after deciding to get her the entire series of the West Wing I found many stores with better pricing but what attracted me to the WB Shop was the fact that on there webiste it said "NEXT DAY AIR SHIPPING TO ENSURE DELIVERY IN TIME FOR MOTHER'S DAY" Well, if I only had come here first!

The next day when my package did not arrive I called their customer service number and spoke to a woman. If she was any more relaxed she would have been in a coma. Through her grunts and one word answers it qucikly became clear that I was going to have to ask her if she needed my order number, not the other way around. Then she asked me what I ordered as if she had no idea despite the fact that I had just given it to her.

When I explained to her that my package never arrived she told me that she would ship it out today. Mind you this is now 6:00 pm when I am home from work and expecting my package to already be at my home. When I told her I paid extra for the next day air she informed me that my package could not have shipped because I did not call to confirm my billing and mailing address. ?????

I told her no where did it say I had to call and that they had already taken the money from my account and asked her what if I had not called. Her response was that "they would have called me." Interesting indeed!

I asked for a supervisor and put my husband on the phone. When the woman came back she said " I thought I was transfering your wife to the supervisor." He explained that I wanted him to talk to her and she repeated for some reason in an even ruder voice that she was only supposed to be transfering me and made me come back to the phone as though some sort of permission was needed!!!

The next and even ruder woman said everything the first women said except she was able to add that next day shipping just means that it will be shipped THE NEXT DAY not that we would RECIEVE it then. I mean good god silly me!!!


BOTTOM LINE: STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE, THEY ARE RUDE AND MISLEADING! SHAME ON WARNER BROS FOR PROVIDING SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I HAVE HONESTLY NEVER HAD SUCH A RUDE AND MISLEADING ONLINE EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! NOW AFTER READING THE REST OF THESE REVIEWS I WONDER IF MY MOM WILL EVER GET A PRESENT THIS YEAR.....
