"The first time I used this company I phoned to check in advance that an item was in stock and was told that it was. I asked for clarification that by in stock they didn't mean virtual stock but actual physical stock in their warehouse. They confirmed that 100% they definitely had stock.

Order was placed and several weeks later I get an e-mail to say they'd had problems sourcing the stock from their supplier and that it may be another couple of weeks. The item was discontinued (which I knew when placing the order hence asking for a physical stock check) so knew they wouldn't be getting anymore and so cancelled my order. It took seven weeks for my money to be refunded (it was taken the second the order was placed).

Bizarrely I actually gave them another chance and placed a second order a month ago. Again, the same situation, after two weeks I was told that my £800 projector wasn't in stock and that there would be a delay. I'm still waiting and again the money has been taken but no goods received. Am guessing if I ask for a refund it'll take another seven weeks to get this (not insubstantial) amount of money back.

Have placed a review on TrustPilot but WAE have had the cheek to tell them that my order number wasn't valid and have pulled the review. It seems this is happening with around 50% of the people that leave a negative review on there.

"AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS

They show my item as in stock when i ordered it, 9 days later they still show it as in stock - but they don't have, they cant send it out.

They tried to talk me out of cancelling my order by saying that it will take them 30 days to give me my money back!!! I am sure their main income is interest off all the money they have scammed out of people and held onto for what will be 39 days by the time i get a refund!

"I would say that this company is laughably bad at doing anything it says but the reality is they have an interesting approach to fraud. They tell you something is in stock when it isn't. After waiting weeks you ask for a refund and they say we'll do it. When the refund fails to turn up they assure you it is being processed and you'll have it in a few days. You repeat this a few times until you realise they are simply lying through their teeth and you are not going to get your money back."

"Total Conning B******S!!! I am having to go through visa to get money back for items they never even dispatched. great customer service my arse, they actually laughed at me and put the phone down, when i was trying to get a refund. Have gone to trading standards, and signed online petition to take them down, also been to watchdog and the IMRG about them i am that annoyed!"

"This company is run by criminals. I waited weeks for an order that never arrived. Constant lies throughout from Customer services. Impossible to escallate complaints. sell items they can not source. you must not use this company. they will steal your money and you will never get what you ordered."

"Completely useless, I ordered a set of speakers that never arrived. Had countless emails ignored, couldn't get through on the phone. It might be a couple of pounds cheaper to shop here but DO NOT RISK IT, BECAUSE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. Eventually called my bank to get them to do a chargeback, finally got the money back after 3 months and a lot of stress. Utterly atrocious company, would never use again and never recommend to anyone."

"I ordered a USB Pen Drive from WAE+ back on 11th April 2013, as it was slightly cheaper than others online.
I only wish I had checked here before doing so.
It should have set alarm bells ringing when the fastest delivery option was nearly 2 weeks.
So, anyway, the allocated time for delivery came & went, and the goods obviously never arrived. I started emailing/messaging them, but EVERY one of these was ignored/not responded to.
In the end, I called them. That was even worse.
After 25 minutes I finally got through to a lady who said her name was ****..
She was of no help at all. She wouldn't tell me what had been done in the 14 days since I'd paid for the item, wouldn't tell me when the item was likely to be dispatched or when it might arrive.
She wouldn't allow me to cancel the item as it was now "allocated" (which it had been for 4 days already).
She wouldn't allow be to speak to her supervisor or manager, and then, finally she hung up on me.
I have now asked my bank to start a Chargeback claim.
I would avoid this company at all costs - even if they seem a few quid cheaper - it's just not worth it.
If I could give 0 stars, I would have done so.

I have removed the name of the employee to try to stop WAE+ from removing this review. Also added order number proof ***-***-****

"I too have had a bad experience with this company ordered a monitor and should have been here by latest 16th April didn't arrive emailed to be told a few days contacted them today 18th April to be told again a few days. I asked what is a few days he told me if i do not receive by the 25th to phone again. I said that is another 9 days. I asked to cancel the order, to which he replied you cannot cancel the order as the item is allocated you will have to wait until received then cancel.
What a load of rubbish i have now cancelled via the website lets see what happens, i will update if/when i receive my refund
It might be cheap but not worth the hassle

"WAE+ expect more DECEIT, for less SERVICE

These people accepted my payment immediately, for what they clearly advertised as an "in stock" item (my purchase 27th March) and then emailed me several days later (10th April) to say.....
" this item is no longer available due to issues" ....and in my case claim that I emailed them to query stock!! which I most certainly did not, why would I when the item was ordered when IN STOCK and my order designated as awaiting fulfilment.

Oddly enough the graphics card in question was simultaneously, and is still being advertised upon their website but for £183 rather than the £177 I purchased it for (google search RADEON HD 7870 XT, then google shopping tab and you will find WAE+ listed and the link will take you to the website page where it is still being avertised as in stock).

What options do you have, reorder the same item at the higher price......I don't think so (advertised as being in stock but why repeat the same mistake of trusting this company- the item may be allegedly in stock or unavailable at a different price..........and even then it may not be available).

So I asked for a refund, the non supply of the ordered item being totally attributable to this companies inability to deliver upon the transaction, not me the customer.

This is where the sting kicks in, please read pasted email from them which I received today (please see below)
"Dear Customer,

Thank you for your email,
We are sorry you are not satisfied with your order, We will be more than happy to provide you with a full refund. The full refund will be processed and back into your account soon from when cancelled 11-04-2013 by at 10:35am. As per the trems and condition which we have of 30 days time frame.

We aim to resolve this as quickly and efficiently as possible. Thank you for your time and cooperation.

So in effect I have provided this company with what I am sure will be a 30~40 day interest free loan, purely because as a customer I was tempted by the price of a supposedly IN STOCK item.

I regret that I did not research a little about this company and its business model before I purchased.
I am equally bemused and disappointed that I have to award them even 1 star in order to write a review about my WAE+ expect MORE grief for couldn't care LESS service, experience.

Apparently I am now eligible for a £10 WAE+ store credit for writing a review of their disingenuous business. I don't think that I will take advantage of it somehow.

I only wish that I had never found this company on a price comparison search.

I can only recount my experience of them (WAE+) obviously. However, I can only hope that by taking the time to write this review, that prospective WAE+ customers will weigh up my experience (and that of other people I see on this review page, that have had similar dealings with WAE+) against "positively glowing" reviews that have been posted within hours of purchasing from their website (store credit incentive), without knowing what the outcome of their transaction will be???

Hopefully, some of you will then avoid involuntarily subscribing to providing this company with a 30+ day interest free loan ((when your IN STOCK order becomes unavailable several days after they have banked your payment, due to issues beyond you, the customers control).
Do yourselves a good service, learn from my mistake/experience and avoid any purchase or transaction with WAE+

THE CARD I PURCHASED AT £177 (27/03/2013), BUT "WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE DUE TO ISSUES" ON THE 10th APRIL (BUT WAS STILL BEING ADVERTISED AS IN STOCK AT THE PRICE OF £183 UP UNTIL MY REVIEW ABOVE) HAS NOW SUDDENLY BECOME "SORRY WE ARE OUT OF STOCK", 17th APRIL ADVERTISED AT THE PRICE OF £167??????????????.

A fine example of their standards of their integrity and probity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"DO NOT EVER ORDER ANYTHING!!!

I placed my order for Lenovo laser mouse which was in stock on 13/3/13 with standard 2-3 business days delivery. I had waited for one week and then called there. The phone handler was not helpful at all; she said it was dispatched and could not track my order. After few more days I sent an inquiry and received very general, probably automated, response... Since that I have been trying to refund my money but nothing happens - their phone is dead and I can't reach them via internal messaging either.

"Very bad experience.
I placed my order on 13th of March, was quoted 4-6 business days delivery. Money were taken from my account the same day. Before placing an order I called waeplus to confirm that they have it in stock, and they did. I also called them a few days after that to see if they still have it in stock and if my order has been shipped. I was told that it's in process. When my order didn't arrive on the 21st of March the latest as it was promised I called them again to figure out what's happening. I was told that they are having some problems with my order and that it will be delivered by the end of next week. I asked customer support officer what kinda problems exactly are they having and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get an answer out of them, all I got was that it was a problem on their side and they assured me that I'll get it by the end of next week (which is 25-th - 28th of March). So what a fool I was to believe it. On the 23rd of March I used their fast response contact, since they work only on weekdays, I expected to get a reply on Monday or Tuesday morning but nobody contacted me. So I called them today again, I spent 20+ minutes on hold and while waiting I checked my order status online and what I found was that "This order is marked as Stocking Issues". I must note that since I placed my order I checked status online everyday, and it said awaiting fulfilment and today I get this. WTF???!!! As I already said they had in stock when I placed my order and they even had it on 22nd of March. But now it's gone. Ok, back to today's conversation with customer support, at first I was told that they'll have in stock next week, when I asked if she's sure about it, she said that not really and she can't tell me when it will be back in stock. I asked for manager or someone from logistics department and was told that they'll tell me same thing, I kept insisting but still didn't get contacts info. Finally I convinced her to email me saying that once they have it in stock it will be shipped to me. In this email I was also offered to get an alternative from them or a refund.
I decided to wait a few more days but I still would like to speak to someone from management or logistics department.
Over all terrible retailer, I wish I ordered this item from amazon even tho it would cost me a bit more.

"Bought a brother printer from them last November. It has not worked properly since having it, not WAE's fault, but it has stopped working altogether now. I was told to post a request for refund by their customer service. I did this after much effort only to be told I cannot have a refund as it was a business to business transaction. I was told to send it to an address in Birmingham, what is this address and what it is for is not explained. I have to pay postage as well. I have checked this out and this is not correct according to the sales act 1999 which states that if an item is faulty then you can expect a refund or replacement if item is not fit for purpose. I have emailed them this and have not got a response yet. I am without a printer and cannot get a refund. 4 months use for £260 printer is not what I call a good deal. Terrible customer service, my wife was on the phone to them for 30 minutes today and I have no email response as said. We are not going to leave this and will get small claims or solicitors to write to them next. Avoid at all cost, or it will be your cost."
