"DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY. I ordered a portable DVD player for my daughter for her birthday and am still waiting. I ordered it 21 days before I needed it and I had no communication with regard to delivery dates. I only know it is not going to arrive in time because I phoned to chase the order. When I contacted 'customer services' I was asked "can your daughter not wait a couple of days?" Not really the answer I was looking for! If I could I would give this company 0 stars."

"Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!!!
They say they have stock, you place the order, they take the cash, you wait 2 weeks (I didnt order express delivery), nothing arrives, I call them to see what is happening, they said it's on backorder and they have no idea when new stock will arrive. However, on the website it still says it's in stock. They're liars, they take your cash, and give you nothing! DO NOT USE THEM@@@@@@@

"I rarely write reviews, but feel it my duty to warn other unsuspecting internet shoppers about this truely awful company.
I purchased a media player from WAE+ on 9 July. The free delivery was only if they delayed shipment of my order by 15 days. However they immeaditely took payment! After waiting 10 days, I decided to cancel my order, pay just a few £ more, and buy the UK version from another company (delivered free the next day). However, WAE did not refund me for another 30 days (19 August). Consumer law allows them to do this, but I do not know another company that takes such advantage of the law. Hence, this company is not one that I would ever use again and the next time I think about buying from a company I dont know, I will read the reviews-WAE dont even deserve 1 star!!

"i purchase on 16 july 2012 a portable hard drive on line , stating in stock,i also included a note stating i need 24 hours notice either by email or text as they had this information to purchase,
so not being in to mush of a hurry went for free post. WAE+ giving me a delivery date of 30 july-2 aug. this is what follows. please read all.

i ordered on 16th july,YOU decide to tell me you don't have it in stock, on 2nd day of allocated delivery (taking more than 24hrs to tell me after i contact you.)
i've wasted 16 days 2 of which i stayed in for delivery missing therapy.
when advertising a good policy would be to state you don't hold in stock, that the dates quoted are only a guide, (as you are poor at getting stock) no wonder you have so many poor comments. you've earned another. thanks for nothing.

would like confirmation money transferred back today. no excuses you screwed up not me , not delivery courier you.

just called got through, very unhelpful person, who could not read your own last correspondence to me.
tried telling me the item was on its way to me. so who's lying you or her!
i read her the email very slowly.
i said i wanted the order cancelled now. (as it is not in transit to me but to you) and it is also outside the agreed time scale for delivery,
you also failed to contact me to inform me of no item, so breached the contract. . in every sense.
she said i could not be refunded until the item has been sent to me,(i explained you don't have it yet) and then i have the decline delivery, then its returned to you, then refund.(which they take 10% for refusing delivery.
are you really that stupid that you wasting money on sending an item, that does not need sending. sure way to go bust.
can i have you directors email has i'm sure that person would like to know where their profits are going.

Not meeting the deadline

If they DO NOT agree to a revised date, the contract must be treated as if it had not been made, apart from any rights that the customer has under it as the result of the non-performance.

If you are unable to meet the deadline and have not agreed an alternative delivery date with the customer, you must refund ALL money paid in relation to the contract including the postage and packaging. (without deductions)
The refund should be made as quickly as possible and within a maximum of 30 days.(would be grateful for it it this week.)
Any credit agreement associated with the purchase is also automatically cancelled.

would expect nothing else from a poorly run company. you say have item in stock, then advise delivery date, and then fail to inform that you do not have the item until customer asked where is the item,at the end of delivery date, then customer service LIES saying over the phone that item is on its way to me when in-fact it had not even got to you from the suppliers. and that i could not cancel the order, then hangs up when i quote \DSR REGS. THEN you hold on to the money as long as you can. says it all rally, i hoped you might have proved me wrong and sorted out this last transaction in a 24hr period, as its only a computer operating. the same as taking the money only in reverse, especially as no products hand change hands.

money refund in full to be cleared in my account no later than 30th aug 2012. (cancelled 1st so 30 days is as stated)

p.s send some staff to misco.co.uk for training same item in stock ordered on weds night delivered friday A.M also cheaper.

I am looking into compensation and interest on the money you have been holding of mine. the interest you made on my money is mine not yours by law, and you have denied me the ability to earn interest with it being in my account.

how long is soon. or do you mean will refund as late as possible.

details and copies of all correspondence is in the process of being compiled and sent to Ombudsman, as i believe this is not the only case of you trying to con, the customer. while breaching yours and EU rules. (underhand business practice)

I believed that all the credentials shown on WAE's website were truthful and ordered a Jawbone Jambox at what seemed an excellent price. After 16 days it hadn't been delivered. I have emailed WAE+ several times to arrange a full refund and have received no response whatsoever. I have telephoned and been informed that their accounts department don't take calls.

After several weeks, it is clear that WAE+ is a shady operation. Having read several similar reviews, it seems they collect money for items they don't stock which then becomes trapped in a cashflow deficit.

I would advise anyone to avoid this outfit like the plague.

DO NOT BUY FROM WAE+.

It is quite extraordinary that they should reply so quickly to negative comments on Reseller Ratings when their customer service is so appalling in every way (no delivery, no response to emails, no help from operatives, no refund). I assure any potential customer that they would be making a massive mistake if they chose to make any transaction with WAE+. Don't take my word for it. Look at their ratings. Enough said.

"I ordered a graphics card and paid for next day delivery. It didn't arrive so I phoned them and they couldn't tell me when it would arrive but offered to refund the difference between next day and standard delivery. As I needed it in a hurry I opted to cancel the order. I still haven't received by refund nearly 3 weeks later. They tell me they "have upto 30 days to refund a customer however this only an up to time scale" whatever that means.

I wouldn't recommend going near this company with a barge pole.

"Tried to buy 3TB HDD on 11th July. After 2 weeks it had not arrived...phoned WAE+ and asked about my order. It was out of stock and I asked for a refund. After numerous calls and emails I still have no refund. I've contact my credit card company to get the money back.
Staff very pleasant and sympathetic on the phone but the results show that this is a sham.

"I ordered a La Crosse Weather Station (£217.41), no problems with the delivery. The sensors were unreliable, I returned the item and requested a full refund on the 21 July. The customer service is appalling. Phoning the helpline is complete torture, the music is guaranteed to get your blood boiling. When I eventually got through on the phone I was told it 'was in the returns department been tested'. I then contacted them by the web form (not for the faint hearted) after hearing nothing and got a response on the 6 Aug telling me 'I have spoke to the warehouse in regards to the faulty item this item is being
tested for the faults once confirmed this is faulty we will process your refund '. Note for WAE+ I have returned the goods and want my money back.....look out for Money Claim via HM Courts & Tribunals Service plus costs. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY

No sign of the refund, a reputable company would have processed this within a week. This reinforces what a poor customer service this company provides and illustrates why this company is held in contempt by people who have had the misfortune to but goods from them. I only wish I had the good sense to research this company before getting involved with them. The quicker they refund the money will be best for both parties as it will stop me posting bad reviews about them.

"This is my first online review. Wish I read other unlucky customers reviews first before placing online order on 19th of June.

Do not trust a single word of what that WAE bunch of rogue traders trying to convience you into. Its been almost 2 months since I placed an order, got sound card from another supplier month ago, but there is still no refund from WAE provided.

"First time I've used WAE+ and first time I've had any problem with buying over the internet.

Ordered a camera on Sat 28 July. My bank was debited on 30 July so I assumed goods had been despatched. However, order progress shows estimated delivery of 13-15 August. This looks strange. Other goods I ordered on free delivery from other suppliers on 28 July all arrived by 8 August.
Quick check of WAE+ reviews online show that cash up front followed by delayed delivery & delayed refunds are commonplace.

Birmingham Trading Standards are aware (see BTS website).

I have cancelled my order and am not surprised to find that refunds take a lot longer than when they take the cash.

I have given details to Birmingham Trading Standards, via the Citizen Advice Consumer Helpline 08454 040506 & advised my bank & local police of same.

"I oredred from them on the 4th, paid extra for delivery by the 9th. They didn't have the product in stock, didn't bother to tell me. I had to call them on the 9th to find anything out.
First call they auto-hung up, with a message that they were too busy to answer my call.

"Ordered a HDD on 12th July 2012. It was supposed to be delivered by 30th July max. then someone called on 31st, for some problem with stock. I changed my order where it was supposed to deliver by 3rd August, but Still its in process. And will be deliver by this week end. "Waste of my time! I had ordered a few soft drinks from this site, nothing much only £35.34 total but anyway that was on the 16 July. The online tracking told me it would be with me between the 28 -30th of June which I didn't mind as I choose the free delivery. On the 19th of June, weirdly I had received half of my order, It did make me wonder why only half of it came, as when I ordered online all my goods showed up as "in stock". However after the rest of goods didn't turn up between those specified dates, I gave them a call only to be told that the rest of my order was on back order and would take a few more days! At that time I just asked for a refund, which the customer service rep told me that would be few days to process, I said fine. It's now the 7th of August and still I have no refund! I had called them a few times (3-4) asking where's my refund, only to be told "were sorry sir, I'll pass this on the fianance department to sort" when I ask to speak to a manager of some sort, apparently they don't have one free every time I called.

I think I shall try to acquire some legal help with my refund.

"Order a router on 18th July 2012, supposed to be delivered 1-3 Aug and it never turned up. When I logged into by WAE+ acct and clicked on the UPS tracking details, I was able to find that it was only collected by UPS on the 3rd of Aug at 15:13. Incredibly long time to wait for items completely unimpressed and will never use again. If I don't receive in next 3 working days then I will try to get a refund or claim through by VISA. My advice forget the cheap prices and order from a more reputable company..."
