"I ordered a high end pair of speakers, and unfortunately received a non matched pair. I contacted their customer service and informed them of the issue, and they stated that they would check with the manufacturer regarding the issue. I later contacted them again, and promptly received a call back from Bekah, she stated that they indeed did encounter an error on their part, and asked what they could do to rectify the situation. She was very polite and handled the situation to my satisfaction, and I commend them all on their customer service. It was very honorable for them to own up to the error, and correct it immediately. I also appreciate that when shipping the item they used Fedex freight, rather than some smaller company, as this ensured the items arrived unharmed, and the delivery was prompt. I am unsure if they always are able to use this carrier for freight, but am certain they strive to resolve any issued encountered. Thanks to the entire team at Vann's for fixing the issue! I will be certain to recommend them to others, and feel confident that I will place them at the top of my list for future orders. Thanks again for all you do, you are truely exceptional!"

"Update (11/30/11): I was very frustrated since I didnt received my dslr as fast as I was hoping for. However, I am now very happy. I got very good deal with vanns specially after using their pricematch guarantee. The product was brand new as it should be because thats why I bought from reputed dealer instead of street shops. In short- "Great product at Greatest price but with Slow Shipping". I think its acceptable.

Original (11/27/11)- I wanted to purchase sony dslr on 11/18 but associate refused to pricematch stating my merchant is not sony authorised reseller without trying to search it. I did homework overnight called again saturday 11/19 and insisted again. same associate was there. I asked I made sure with sony and merchant I am asking is authorised sony retailer. he checked it, agreed to match price and made purchase. Hoping to get before holidays. I am still waiting and holidays are gone. status shows it will deliver on 11/30. Very disappointed by the service.

"I purchased a Nikon Camera D90 from Vanns' online store. I had to return it, it was a defective item. I'm waiting for a refund and have not gotten an email indicating the credit to my VISA. I would liked to have done more shopping at thier store, especially on Black Friday but didn't get to. I called costumer service and they told me that they had the return and would send an email to the return department and would try to get my refund by the end of the day. But it didn't happen. I'm hoping that it will be there by Monday so that I can do shopping on Cyber Monday. The people at the store seemed very nice. I do understand that things happen.. so they will more than likely come thru. I will let everyone know."

"My Samsung PN59D7000 came in the today, just as it was promised. The 3-D glasses, 3D Blu-Ray player, and movie pack, even came in a few days earlier. We very were happy with the price, service, and the way we were treated. However,I am very concerned about the date of manufacture on my TV, which was June 2011. Many of these PND7000 series TV's made before August 2011.....have had issues with anti-glare film peeling. I was hoping to have gotten a more recent manufacture, as Samsung was supposed to have remedied it. I was told that I would most likely get a newer manufacture. That was not the case. Just the luck of the draw I guess. I can only hope I get one that doesn't make me have to send it back, or get replaced. I am sure the service after the sale will be as good as during the sale. I hope I won't need it"

"I was so excited when i found a Samsung 37inch 1080p LCD for a great price in the clearance outlet. I purchased the TV on 9/19/11 and the shipping label was made. Now 6 days later still no showing as shipped I got worried it is now 9/29/11 and I just found out it has been sitting in the warehouse this whole time even though i have called three or four times and they FINALLY spoke to someone in the warehouse. So as it stands my TV will be shipped overnight to me the only problem it wont be here till Monday even though its Thursday night and I have company coming over this weekend and I have two small children at home with no working TV which I told the first guy I spoke to who claimed he would speak with the manager at the warehouse three days ago. I am so beyond upset at this situation after I went telling everyone about how great this site seemed. I just hope anyone I told does not have the same problem of people looking at a box for 10 days and doing nothing with it because I will look stupid! I look forward to the next 4 days of NO TV and I am hoping it will actually be here.


Update:

The TV was delivered on Monday in perfect condition and im very happy. My biggest problem is the fact they said "UPS DOES NOT DELIVER ON SATURDAY'S" I would have been more understanding if they said as you said "do not have that option" also the fact I called over two times a day for three days without any call back as promised. I understand mistakes happen but they should have been corrected day one not going on day 4. Again I am happy with the TV and I will consider ordering from Vann's again. The only thing I know is now I will not wait 5 days to call if not shipped out again I will be more aggressive with future purchases!

"I don't know why Vann's isn't rated at least a 9/10 because they have the best service, prices, and shipping with care. I purchased a couple of speakers from them, and they came double boxed. Normally, other companies just ship out the original box, which during the shipping can damage the speaker cabinets, but Vann's double box them with air cushions in between. They also have great customer service."

"Bought an Onkyo TX-NR809 receiver from Vann's. Sixteen days after receiving this item it began to shut off randomly. Vann's told me I would have to pay a 20-30% re-stocking fee (a minimum of $160.00)to return a defective item. I'll never buy from them again regardless of their pricing.

An update:

I would like to retract my earlier statements about Vann’s. Apparently, the e-mail I had received earlier from Vann’s was from someone new to their customer service department. After talking to Shannon from Vann’s, she was able to resolve the issue of possibly returning the receiver if Onkyo can’t help with this problem. I tip my hat (if I wore one) to Shannon for an excellent customer service response!

"My first experience was quite unhappy. I paid for and had a confirmation email of white glove service for a LG Electric Dryer AND a Panasonic Flat Screen TV. The "Customer (I DON'T CARE ABOUT) Service" representative explained it was a "glitch" in the website and it was just unfortunate that I would NOT be getting white glove service for the dryer. It was dropped off outside my house and I have to deal with it. So much for providing what you paid for . . . and their mistake becoming MY PROBLEM?!! Welcome to Montana! I should have purchased it from out-of-state as I was going to originally."

" Product: Samsung PN59D8000 3d HDTV: A Great price and fast shipping, although just 4/5 stars due to substitution of 2 pr. of 3d glasses (SSG-3100GB/ZA, $100 value) instead of 3D Starter Kit (SSG-3100M, $170 value) per Samsung promotion for this model. The decision is Vanns' to make, Samsung ended their fulfillment program in case you don't receive the promotion, so verify that you'll be getting the right deal before you make your purchase. Otherwise, a great $ deal w/ Vanns! Excellent customer service, no BS or substitutions, no sales pitches or excuses...A+!"

"Months ago I purchased a DVD/VCR combination from Vann's. When I received it I was told it was refurbished but guaranteed to work, but I took our a three month warranty. It took longer than three months to finish my sunroom. And to my surprise, the guaranteed DVD/VCR combination refurbished electronic wouldn't even turn on. This product that was guaranteed to work, wouldn't do the simplest operation. Turn on."

"I purchased (2) Klipsch RF-7II and (1) RC-64II for a total of
$3199.90 , later that day I found that another authorized online dealer that had the same package for alot less both sets are Grade A there is no diffrence but the price.I sent an email and called vanns an email asking if they would price match answer was no. I couldnt cancel the order because it already shipped.I could refuse it they said but I will be charged return shipping . The dealer that had them for less was www.acousticsounddesign.com and they do price match , they even give you 30 days to find it cheaper.

"I ordered a SONY VG10 Video Camera on June 22nd Second day UPS it failed to be delivered by 8PM on the 24th. I called VANN's to find out it hadn't been shipped yet! I cancelled the order. I called before noon on Monday June 27th and talked to a representative and ordered the same camera 2nd day air(They refused my seggestion to ship it next day for free). On the evening of the 29th the camera had not arrived, as it had not been shipped by VANN's until the afternoon of the 28th, as verified by both VANN's online order tracking, and UPS trackin although they EMAILED me afterward that it had indeed been shipped out on the 27th. I waited all day Thursday June 30th at my home for the packege until 5:30PM when I needed to take my son to his baseball game. OH! GOODNESS! The UPS man stopped by with the package at 5:53PM. WADDAYATHINK? Should I send it back for a return?"

"I ordered the product for a family member who was unavaible (work) as it was a great price with limited stock. The next day I found out he had already gotten one and so I called to stop the order.
Customer Service was great and got it stopped even though an weighbill had been generated!! They helped me correct my mistake. (I just need to wait for a refund as it was through Amazon, which I understand is normal) I would order from them again in a heartbeat!! THANKS Customer Service!!
