“Frankly, My Dear, I Don’t Give A Damn”

"We spent the last few years looking for a Lladro Figural piece from Spain called "Fox Hunt". When it was discontinued in 2014 it sold for $10,000.00 and in some instances it sold for $15,000.00. We finally located one in Washington DC, negotiated a price & they shipped it to Albany Oregon in same original Lladro padded box designed to withstand a trip from Spain to USA. USPS beat the HELL out of the beautiful work of art & will not reimburse the seller even though it was fully insured. We have the USPS delivery guy on video striking the curb with it on a hand truck with it sideways!
We’ll NEVER use USPS for valuable pieces of art again.

WHERE'S MY PACKAGE?

"The USPS needs ALL new & RELIABLE people. PERIOD. Maybe then we would all get our packages! I think it's time I take that sticker out of my mailbox that says THANK YOU to the USPS postal men. Such crappy service. My package has been in my states USPS hands since 1/20/23 and today is 2/10/23... and still no update and no package!! I wish a ZERO-STAR were an option because it really should be!!"

Laurinburg, NC Postal Employees Practices

"The staff at the Laurinburg, NC office believe that they are above Federal laws and regulations. They act as if abusing, victimizing, and damaging their customers is their goal of business. Beware!! Avoid them, and the larger organization that seems to be protecting them!! Use UPS, FedEx, even DHL...if you want your mail/packages handled correctly."

Fragile must be a country in France

"I ordered plates to be delivered to my home. When they arrived in a clearly marked fragile box, I opened it to see EVERYTHING smashed to pieces! Trust me. Glue isn’t fixing this. The box looked like it was kicked across the United States. Why bother even writing fragile? They clearly didn’t read it or knows what it means."

my package documents never arrive

"I like to let everyone know that do not use international priority mail with USPS this is why. I mail international priority mail last August 17, 2022, for the Philippines It is supposed to be 6-10 days. I paid $40 . This was a very important document according to the post mail clerk, they don't have a problem with international priority. It is a lie, the fact is my package documents never arrived and now, I have to resend another one and advise everyone don't try to attempt to send it thru USPS
you just end up losing your documents and wasting your money. I will never again with USPS International Priority Mail. I am going to use FedEx, one of my friends uses this service and it arrived on time. I will let you know the update of my FedEx mail when it arrives as promised. I believe it costs $158 for international express mail for 3 days. Let's see!

Customer Service & Delivery Issue

"I had the package sent overnight with USPS. The next day it was delivered but to the wrong address/room.
I had to call customer service to locate the package. Well, customer service does not work at USPS. They have an automatic voice to transfer the customer and then hang up.

It's not the first time when USPS providing 1-star customer service and has delivery issues.

Useless

"Yesterday, a delivery driver showed up while my dog was outside on a leash and my husband was standing in the doorway. The driver half way got out of his truck and then immediately got back in is truck before my husband could even step outside. We then get an update that the package is availble for pick up at the post office. So Today, I got to the post office it was supposed to be delivered at only to be told they don't know where the package is, but it must be at the other office and gives me a phone number to call. Phone number just rings and rings and rings and then hangs up on you. So I drive over to the other post office for the rep to tell me that the delivery driver attempted to deliver and I said no that's a lie. I was standing right there. For the rep to then pop an attitude and go 'WELL, if a dog is there they won't deliver. (which is a lie) and then said I wasn't there so I don't know' I was and I'm telling you what happened. They said that it was mislabeled and that it would be redelivered today. I then asked why the tracking information would tell me its here for pick up, and he then said that they would go back and check. Man never returns, instead about 5 mins later another man walks up without introducing himself or who he was says that it was mislabeled and would be redelivered today and told me to leave. This is completely unacceptable and I completely wasted my time trying to hunt down this package because people cannot do their jobs and getting mad when they are called out for it. USPS has been useless for a while, but they are just completely pathetic now and a waste of time. Not helpful, unfriendly, defensive, rude. 10/10 dont recommend. Just use fedex or ups."

Sent my package to a wrong country, then reroute it back to me and refused to refund me postage.

"Absolutely nightmare and pain for me to deal with their international dispute group. They deserve only negative stars. They sent my package to Africa instead of Asia during pandemic. At the beginning, everything was handled at least in reasonable procedures, they sent the package back to recipient instead of the final destination. A Customer agent filled out usps 2855 form for me to refund postage only ( assuming my package wasn't damaged or lost in the way to me). Two weeks later, I recieved this form in my mail and I sent out every required paper in the self addressed stamped envelope that is enclosed in their mail to me. 4 weeks later after many calls to ask status of this dispute, I was finally transferred to someone who is really in charge of this type of work. She said the office is closed due to covid and they only come in once a week to check mails and she couldn't find my mail. She offered no help. After my persistent phone calls, I was contacted with a few usps staffs by phone and by email. I was able to send all forms electronically to someone who had offered me her usps email address. I also resend the same paper with certified mail. Another 4 weeks later nothing heard from them including electronic submission. I then made second round of numerous phone calls but none could tell me what was going on with this case. I feel like I was talking to a machine with always standard reply. I have dealed with a dozen usps staffs for the same case, none help, none followed through. I gave up. Instead, I got the refund from my credit card company without any issues. A few months later usps sent me a letter saying my claim was denied. It took them 8 months to process, to deny a case caused by their own mistake and to treat their customer with no respect...How bad is such a company. "

Worst with Claims USPS

"I wish I could give a less than 1 review. USPS don't care about you or your crap when mailed. My package took over 33 days to reach it's destination.
This was a $4000. clock that was busted all to hell. Now, it's been another 60 days and 2 appeals and still the insurance has not paid a dime. The post office or USPS has not even offered to refund my shipping cost. This is a Government agency that won't give customers the money it owes them but will send Millions to the southern boarder and overseas. NO accountability at all. NO wonder USPS has a 1 star review status.

No wonder they go postal

"How do these people find their way to work in the morning? Maybe the mail system would work better if they didn't!

This is 3 out of 4 of my Priority Mail and Express packages you lost. USPS, I really don't know what to say other than YOU COMPLETELY ****. You are failures and do not deserve your jobs since you obviously can't do them correctly. I guess if people want things done right, we will have to pay a little more and go with UPS or Fedex. The US Mail is useless... completely useless.

"I ship through Etsy with Pitney Bowes tracking. 90% of my packages are never scanned and I have packages from over a year ago not marked as delivered, but I know the customer received them. Very frustrating and will eventually kill small businesses reputation. "

No wonder they go postal

"The USPS lost 50% of the packages I shipped in the past years. They are a horrible company and their process for filing claims DOES NOT WORK.

The USPS has nosedived down to one of the least reliable companies in business today. It's no wonder there are phrases like 'gone postal'. If I worked for such an abominable company, I'd go postal too! Stick to letters, USPS. Leave the parcels to Fedex and UPS. You can't handle that business.

Damaged package, zero accountability

"I ordered a couple of items totaling $80. The box arrived looking like it had been stamped on or thrown by staff, the items inside completely destroyed beyond repair. Six months of attempts to speak with staff or claim compensation got me nowhere as they make their claims process as complex and un-user friendly as conceivably possible. $80 down the drain, no apology, no accountability, no replacement from this absolutely horrendous company. Avoid at all costs."
