DEAD TREES!!!

"If I could give them negative stars I would. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! They will send you DEAD trees and tell you they are just dormant. Planted and did everything needed. They NEVER grew. The other fruit trees from the local nursery however PERFECT. Survived the harsh winter but the "dormant" TYTY trees...... nothing. DO NOT waste your money with them. "

BIG TIME SCAM

"They send dead sticks past the paypal warranty deadline. You order in spring or summer and receive it about the next January. But you can't tell if it's alive u til the spring. By that time your full refund time frame is over. TyTy knows this. Scam!!"

NEVER NEVER BUY FROM THEM.

"I ordered two Chicago Hardy Fig Tree (5-6ft tall), three Russian Pomegranate Tree (1-2ft tall) together with seven Nutra Pro (16-16-16) 1st Year Fertilizer Pack (order no. #401069). I paid $332.55. All the trees were shipped bare-root. All these trees were delivered on May 20, 2022. These trees were transferred to pots on May 22 (in large pots for Fig Trees and in 3-gallon pots for pomegranate plants). We were supposed to finally have these plants place in ground after they develop some roots and get leafy. At the time of planting, all the leaf on these plants were yellow/light brown. We hoped that it will survive.

On May 27, I noticed that most of the leaf on these plants have either fallen or turned brown. I called Ty Tye Nursery and spoke to Jeniffer who wanted me to send the pictures of plants. Pictures were sent right away while I was still on the phone. She reviewed the pictures and informed me that I should wait for another week or so because probably plants went through a shock and may revive.

One June 4, I called again when it was noticed that there is no sign of revival on these plants. My calls was never answered – on first call, I was on hold for more than 45 minutes before it was disconnected. On my second call, I disconnected it after being on hold for more than 30 minutes. Finally, I decided to send an email (which was auto-replied that someone will get in touch within 2 business days). I never was contacted since then.

In the meantime, all the plants were dead, and we decided to throw them out. All these plants were placed in garbage bags which were placed out yesterday and picked up earlier today.

This afternoon, I received an email (after more than 2 weeks) that in order for them to process their claim, they need me to send the exposed cambium after scrapping the bark. After receiving the email, I immediately called them (spoke to Marlene) and explained the situation. She informs me that she will not be able to help as they need pictures of exposed cambium. I requested her to reconsider this claim which was denied. I, anyway, sent her the email explaining my situation.

Writing this detailed review is to warn customers and make buyers beware of this company and not to deal with them. I will be writing my reviews on other sites and also file a complain with BBB (undoubtedly a credit-card dispute with my Bank). DON’T DON’T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

"Bought 4 vines 1 dead, sent multiple emails,called multiple times and different days.no answer stay on hold for 10 to15 mins never answer. Never reply to emails either, Will never do business with again and would suggest others the same."

"I purchase 4 tree 3 are doing very well 1 is dead contracted customer service was inform that they were busy to call back later called 5 times same responses. Call main order number waited 10 mins to 15 mins and was inform that they are not proccing any claims until June. Now I can understand why TyTy Nursery Grade: D is well earn by then "

Deceiving review

"I sent Ty Ty a review stating basically that 2 pecan trees arrived with roots looking good but one had no roots at all, looked like a broken hoe handle. To my surprise my review only states “ roots looked good”. Nothing about bad tree. Better not believe all their reviews. Told them also had a pic of bad tree. No one called asking about sending pic or anything- but I’m a small customer. But giving Ty Ty benefit of doubt, I planted tree, see what happens. Just would have felt much better with better roots."

TY TY NURSERY TREE REPLACEMENT - FRAUD !!!!!

"DON'T BUY GIFT CERTIFICATES !!!!!!!
NOR STORE CREDIT ISSUED WORK!!!!!
They require $60 minimum order before shipping ( which is very high comparing with other sellers) AND AFTER YOUR GIFTS CERTIFICATES !
I spent $90 on original order ($60 min + SH), one tree died, received Gift Certificate from Nursery. In order to replace one tree I need to spend another $60 + SH and in addition cost of Certificate, because IT IS NOT CONSIDERED AS PAYMENT METHOD !!!! In order to replace one tree have to buy 3 more
I NEVER HEARD OF SYSTEM THAT WON'T TAKE GIFT CERTIFICATE AS PAYMENT OPTION!!!!!

You get a Dead "STICK" and they get your money!!!

"I received my $100 dollar "STICK!" It was just a "STICK". I planted it the next day and after 3 months of no growth, I called TYTY nursery. I had to take pictures, fill out forms, and call back numerous times to find out what they are going to do about this. Warning, keep your order number or you will get no help!! Finally, I find out that I only get a credit that is only good for 1 year, and I can only plant here in the spring. So, I get another dead "STICK" next spring to plant. And, I have to pay another $30 shipping fee! When I receive my next dead "STICK," it will be too late to replace the dead "STICK" again, since their warranty is only good for 1 year and it will be over. So, I end up paying $100 for a dead "STICK" and 2 shipping fees of $30 each dead "Stick" and end up with not a damn thing. This place is a total rip off. They can send you all the dead "STICKS" they want, for one year, and you pay shipping of $30 each time and at the end of the year you have a dead "STICK," and they have your money. Isn't that a great deal?? BUYER BE WARE!! You are better off buying at a nursery near you if possible! "

Terrible Trees

"don’t buy trees from this nursery!!! They don’t survive. I purchased 2 persimmon and 2 chestnut trees last March. Only 1 of each type survived. I even had a professional landscaper plant them last year. You are better off ordering and purchasing trees from your local nursery. After a year, the warrant runs out. Don’t bother emailing and/ or calling customer service you get nowhere. I purchased over 75 arborvitae trees last May from my local nursery and they all survived the harsh winter months we had in PA. Don’t trust any tree that come through the mail- especially from Ty Ty plant nursery!! Dave yourself the headache and aggravation. "

TY TY Nursery - AVOID AT ALL COSTS

"I just spoke to the rudest (kept hiding behind legalise) customer service person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with at Ty Ty nursery - she just kept referring to the fine print in the T&C's... I will never do business with this company again - as it is awful with respect to dead plants and returns! I have two totally dead plants (did everything for a month and they are dead dead dead) which cost an inconsequential $60 (of an order that totalled $340) and I simply wanted them replaced now (not next year) so I could get them in the ground, so they could grow over the summer... however, their crafty fine print which she is hiding behind " We will process plantsurance claims from the current planting season (August 1st through May 31st of the current year) starting June 1st of that year." That is not Hassle free! And that is not customer service! I bought the plants in March, planted them in April and totally dead... now need to wait until next year. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE"

WARNING - DO NOT BUY FROM TY TY Nursery

"They sent me a dead, dry, brittle stick in a box. I ordered a plum tree. Not much help from the customer service. I keep getting a firm NO REFUNDS. They have this thing called Plantsurance which is a total ripoff. Its a store credit and does not cover shipping. Ive even seen other posting that say you can't use it unless you spend a certain amount. I can't even use the store credit to purchase a replacement because it is not enough, and they cant ship the replacement even if I pay the difference. Terrible customer support. Its been three months since I received the tree and there is no chance this thing is alive. All I want is a replacement or my money back. They are not willing to work with me.

Don't think you will be lucky and this wont happen to you. Search and you will find hundreds of bad reviews from people who have ordered from TY TY Nursery. Customer satisfaction is not something Ty Ty Plant Nursery cares about.

Don't buy from Tyty nursery

"We purchased pecan trees from tyty nursery. They looked like broom sticks. I called the nursery to discuss this lack of roots. They assured me that was what pecan trees looked like. 16 out of 28 died or never bloomed out. Tyty nursery guarantee was to offer more of the same, no money back. I went to another pecan nursery this year. One of their trees had more roots than all of Tyty nursery trees did. The trees from the other nursery was less than half the cost of Tyty. STAY CLEAR OF TYTY NURSERY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF."
