They buy from small farms in the Phillippines, which the owner and his (Filipino) wife used to live nearby. Tropical Traditions location in the Philippines with the volcanic rich soil makes their coconut products the highest quality I've found yet in my Alternative Medicine business. The soil has more benefits due to the micro-nutrients which have existed there for thousands of years. Besides the health benefits we have discovered by using their Coconut Oil, their shredded coconut is far superior to any other we've purchased as well. I have been using their Coconut Oil for over a year now, and my thyroid has been the biggest evidence of my health changes. I will stay on the 4T of ingested coconut oil for life.
