Buyer beware horrible customer service

"I purchased the larger bolster bed. When I recieved it, the cover and the bed were not individually wrapped. The memory foam bed was yellowing in spots. At that time, I decided not to open the shrink wrapped mattress and engage customer service. Eight emails with only one respose requesting pictures of the mattess still shrink wrapped. I did send the pictures and still no response back. Also, five phone calls at different times of the day and you never get a customer service rep and are forwarded to a vociemail box to leave a message. It is as if this seller is just waiting for their customers to give up trying to return the item.

I will never purchase anything from Treat A Dog again!

Very Disappointed - Buyer Beware

"I ordered the PupRug Faux Fur Memory Foam Bed (rectangle) and regret it. It’s not of the quality I expected from the product photos. The fur cover is stringy, not fluffy like the photos depict, and the “memory foam” filler is super thin and will provide little support. After opening the package (how else could I examine my purchase?), I contacted Treat a Dog to ask about returning it. And guess what? After opening the product they will not accept a return. So I am about to throw a brand new $119 substandard dog bed in the trash. So disappointed."

Poor quality and terrible customer service! BEWARE!!!

"The cover ripped apart from the bottom. I called customer service and they refused to replace it because it was beyond the 30 guarantee. I complained further and they agreed to replace the two covers at no charge. It's been three emails and four months...no replacement. RUN...any dog bed you buy from a big box retailer is just as good or even better! NOT worth the aggravation of dealing with this company. They get your money and could care less!!!"

Worst customer service EVER!!!

"WARNING!!!I ordered large and a XL bed. The large showed up in about a week. I was not thrilled with it. I thought it was not as advertised and not worth the money. Since the XL had not shipped yet I called to cancel it. I was told that it was backordered and wouldn't ship for another 4-5 weeks. I told them just to cancel it and refund my credit card. They wanted to just give me a 10% discount... I said no, I just wanted to cancel it. I was then told I would receive a credit and it would be cancelled. Well the credit never came but I did get the way over prices XL bed.... 8 weeks later
..such a scam.

HORRIBLE BED PRODUCT. DISASTER

"I don't even know where to begin with this product. I was excited for it because it looked awesome. I ordered a dog bed with the pillow behind it for extra comfort for my dogs. I received the product and it looked amazing. My dogs seemed to love it and even I enjoyed how good it felt. The product itself is very comfortable but the issue began with the rip of the cover. They stated "RIPS doesn't happen" but I'll be the first to tell you they are completely lying about that. Within the first week the bed began to rip and I even tried to stitch it myself and it just continued to happen all over. After a few weeks of dealing with the issue I contacted support about the item and they were quick to replace the bed. I thought to myself well at least they replaced the bed due to being out of stock for the covers "hmm I wonder why?" After a week the SAME issue happened on the same spot. I complained again and they said they were STILL out of stock for the replacement cover after 2 months so I asked for a refund. Honestly this product is below average. They have great customer service but I would never buy a product from them again. It's pretty obvious why they have been out of stock for replacement covers over 3 months and that's due to their manufacturer completely messed up on their stitching. I can't even imagine how many disappointments they are dealing with. For the price of this product you are best to run and find someone else because you wont be happy with their dog beds."

They don't stand behind their products

"We purchased a truck cover that was incomplete, they wouldn't stand behind it because we didn't open the package in the 30 days they allow to report a problem. The item is unusable with out the tie down tubes.
We offered photos of the NEW product and the original mailing envelope.

Great Customer Service

"I ordered 2 covers for my SUV. 1 was on backorder. The Customer Service Representative was so helpful, always answering my e-mails and keeping the line of communication open. Hard to find companies that truly provide "customer service". Thank you Michelle Figueroa and Treat A Dog!!"

Don't count on that 10 year guarantee

"Out of the box, the bed looked great. The first time I picked it up to move it, the bolster tore from the flat part of the bed about 4 inches. I thought, "OK, if it gets worse, we'll call it in". A couple months of wear and tear from the dog moving around in it extended the tear to about 10 inches. We contacted Treat a Dog to ask for a repair / replacement of the cover and were told flatly that we were out of our 30 day (30 DAY? !!!) warranty period. After passing through apparently 2 layers of management, with the same answer, it looks like we're on our own. Out of the box, it's a nice bed. It ought to be for as much as it costs. However, don't expect much for durability, and absolutely don't expect much for product support. "

Excellent product + excellent customer service

"I ordered the x-large pup lounge memory foam bed that was exactly what I needed for my dogs. I was so pleased that I ordered the giant size bed. This particular bed's memory foam was very discolored. I contacted Treat A Dog's customer service department explaining the discoloration and set pictures to document. Treat A Dog immediately responded personably and efficiently by email. I had a completely new bed at no charge in a matter of days! WOW! Not only is their product wonderfully dog friendly and of amazing quality, but they stepped up when the product was not! Loving Treat A Dog for "Treating ME" ............with respect and demonstrating they are a "stand up" company! "

HORRIBLE!!!

"I ordered a bed at the beginning of August with expedited shipping. As the expected date of arrival passed, I reached out to get an update on my order. I was told that due to shipping delays, my order would be shipped the next week. I have followed up multiple times and with each follow up I receive the next future date...Two months later...still no bed. Sick of the apologies, sick of the delays, all the while continuing to see advertisements for the products. "

Questionable quality

"I bought a bolster bed a little less than six months ago. While the foam/firmness has held up well, the cover has not. Some of the stitching has pulled entirely out and the so-called water resistant cover has thin/thread bare spots from typical nesting behavior. The cover is not covered past the 30 day return period as was kindly pointed out to me when I made in inquiry."

GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

"WE ORDERED A LARGE BED FOR M, IT WAS DELIVERED PROMPLY, AND WE OPENED AND KNEW RIGHT AWAY THAT OUR 160 # CHOC LAB WAS NOT GOING TO FIT. I CALLED AND THEY TOLD ME TO SEND IT BACK AND THEY WOULD EXCHANGE IT FOR A GIANT. I WAS ADVISED THAT IT WOULD SHIOP IN AUGUST, AND NOTIFIED THAT IT WAS SHIPPED AND BE DELIVERED IN 3 DAYS. IT WAS DELIVERED AS PROMISED, MURPHY LOVES IT ,GREAT PRODUCT WELL CONSTRUCTED, AND IS WORTH EVERY NICKEL.

Excellent Customer Service

"I bought a dog bed from Treat a Dog. When it came, there was a decent-sized cut in the foam mattress pad. I contacted them to ask for a return and refund and received an immediate response from Hazel Ashford. She was very accommodating and gave me a full refund, but allowed me to keep the bed. This was not what I asked for or intended, but it was very helpful!"

Replacement covers

"Hazel Ashford has been so wonderful to work with and extremely helpful in getting us replacement covers for our dog beds. Unfortunately after less than a year the stitching had come loose and a zipper broke. She was happy to send us replacements for these. Thanks again Hazel at treat a dog!"
