"My tire installation appointment was scheduled for 5/10/24. On that date, mid day, I was contacted by an installer named Tyler. Tyler told me he would be running late, which I said I was ok with. Then, Tyler called again saying he would not do the installation because the tires were different sizes. I explained they were not for the front of the car, but one for the front and one for the rear. I had already confirmed this before, so I wasnt sure why I had to reexplain, but i didnt think much of it. Tyler also told me that he was not allowed to go into the parking garage where the car was located, so I would have to move it. Tyler informed me of this with a noticeable amount of attitude, but i assured him i would be able to accommodate the rules that were in place.

I had a building manager and friend of mine, Kevin, allow me to use other parking spaces to complete the install. Once Tyler arrived around 4:30, I drove my car on 2 flat tires down the garage ramp and onto the street. I asked Tyler where he would like the car to be, and he said to park it on the street behind my building. I did so, and then Tyler started to immediately complain about where the car was and the car itself. I told Tyler i parked it exactly where he told me to, but i could move it to the parking spaces on the side of my building if that would be better. Tyler agreed, and returned to his van. I again drove the car on 2 flat tires to accommodate Tyler, so he could more easily do his job.

After moving my car a second time, Tyler still did not begin his job. Instead, Tyler moved his van towards an intersection and remained inside of it. The van blocked the visibility of other drivers in that intersection. Kevin questioned why i had someone blocking an intersection of a road when my car was parked in a lot away from that road entirely. I also wasnt sure, and i waited for Tyler to move his van. Tyler did not move his van, and instead called TireRack to complain that he was parked in the road. I then received a call from a TireRack representative that told me Tyler was attempting to cancel the installation because the car was on a busy street. I replied that my car was absolutely not on a street at all, it was in an open parking lot with plenty of room. I offered to take photos or videos as proof. I was told that this was not necessary, and that the representative would speak with Tyler. After speaking with Tyler again, the representative told me that she had checked where i said i was parked on a map and that Tyler should be ok to begin the install. I thanked her and stopped traffic to guide Tyler into another parking spot, one that was two spots over from my car so that he would still have room to do his job.

Tyler did not park where i indicated him to, but instead parked in front of my car, across an access way that people drive through. At this point, he was clearly visibly irritable, and i decided to just remain quiet and out of his way while he worked. Tyler finally started to perform his job duties, but was saying things to himself in an angry manner and remaining agitated. Kevin also noticed this, and we spoke about it and i apologized for Tyler’s demeanor. At least twice, Tyler angrily yelled at other motorists when they used the access way that he was in. Things he yelled included “just go, God damnit!” and “**** drive over it! (an air hose Tyler used)”. These motorists were people that lived in my apartment buildings and my neighbors, so this was extremely embarrassing for me and Kevin. We apologized to people at least a few times for Tyler’s behavior towards them.

After attempting to dislodge the bolts on my wheels, Tyler could not undo one on the rear wheel of my car. Kevin commented to me that Tyler might be stripping the bolt the way that he was working, but i did not say anything to Tyler due to his already angry behavior. I did not want Tyler to become angrier, continue to yell and harass myself or others, or damage my car in any way. As Tyler continued to struggle with the bolt, he continued his bad attitude, and eventually stopped working and began to ignore us and turn his back while he was on his phone. I asked Tyler if there was anything i could do to help, and what the issue was. I was ignored completely and Tyler walked away from us. I found this behavior to be confusing and disrespectful, but i waited to see what would be done.

After seemingly giving up without responding to me, Tyler began retightening the bolts to my vehicle. He also started to pack away his equipment while ignoring us. I asked him what the issue was, and he just continued to put things away, acting as if he did not hear me. Kevin also asked what the issue was, from right next to me and at the same volume. Tyler responded only to Kevin, saying that he couldn’t undo one bolt. I again asked if i could assist in any way, to which Tyler said no. I asked if Tyler had a torque gun in the van, as it could help undo the bolt. Tyler"
