"Horrible customer service.... They do not know about how much I have to pay the return shipping fee and they do not know if they do charge restocking fee...
What do they know? They said once they received the items they would let me know how much the all the fee I have to pay. Also they asked me if I am selling items on eBay and asked me my eBay I.D.
That's none of their business!!! Even they sent it differently than my order quantity.

"I feel bad that I am glad I am not the only one that has had issues with this. I love thinkgeek don't get me wrong I have ordered from them lots and never once had an issue. But the last order I place was for $75.00 USD so in Canadian it was $100 (I am using rounded number for sake of ease) When UPS came to my door they told me that I had to pay $58.00 in boarder fees. I refused it at the door and immediately emailed Thinkgeek. Their reply was less than helpful they told me that because I refused it I would not get my full money back. that I would only get $38.00 USD back because they had to pay for the shipping and the boarder fee. In their reply they also told me that in check out it gives a warning about the boarder fee. I did a fake shopping cart and this is all it says "NOTE: The expected Customs Fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) for your order are added when you use Expedited or Express Shipping to Canada. See our full shipping FAQ for details." So you actually have to leave the check out section to see what they talk about. When I mentioned that I have placed lots of orders with them and never had this issue they said it was because I picked Expedited or Express shipping which is why I didn't get charged the boarder fee which I find horribly ridiculous. So needless to say if you live outside of the states and pick standard shipping your a royally screwed for shipping. I am sad to say I will NEVER buy from them again. And I feel bad for anyone and everyone that has been screwed over by thinkgeek. Oh also if you are interested in why you get charged a boarder fee is because on the shipment package thinkgeek has to fill in a section that asks where the product is manufactured and if it is from China that is why you get charged, because it wasn't made in the good ol USA the government need a piece of the money so they get it by charging a release fee. So glad I live in Canada. "

Every time i order from them items come damaged, or extremely late, or as is this case, with COD that makes no sense. $60 COD on a $57 order? Why am I paying double what the package cost just to receive it. When asked if i could just return to sender it since the items are available for return, i was told that they would abandon it and refuse to refund if i did that. So now i have to pay $60 for absolutely nothing, or $120 for 2 vinyl records..."

"I've ordered things from them in the past, and it was usually decent. I ordered something for valentines day and they decided to cancel my order on me. After getting a confirmation Email I went on my way. By the time I noticed they sent me another that said it was cancelled, it was too late to get it in time. I contacted customer service and they took 5 days to get back to me. That kind of service is unacceptable from a company that size in this day and age. "

"I've ordered from them several times. I love the sales that they have. I got an $80 bag for $10-15. Any trouble I have, they fix it right away. I bought some items and the next day they were on sale, and they gave me the money back on the difference. Items missing from shipment? They expedited ship them right away and offered a $5 apology. I love their products so much. My only issue is the shipping since I'm in Canada, and the fact that they have so many good items I can't stop buying their products. "
"These people to issue me a refund took them more than a month, sending emails stating that you should see your refund in 5 business days, than no later than 1/16/18. I call and spoke to a supervisor and she said that they still haven’t received the item. Mind you I have Ups tracking number and who signed time date. It’s such a head ache filling me up with all there bull. Just to get my money back. I won’t recommend anyone to buy and get an exchange with these guys. Take your money with the quickness but to get it back, it becomes a major problem. "
"I have purchased multiple items from ThinkGeek in which never had issues with the quality or items themselves. I recently bought two sets of the planetary glasses. The quality was absolutely horrible and nothing like what the pictures online showed. I wanted to return the items but the company requires you to pay for shipping. Due to the size of the product, the cost of shipping costed more than the product was itself. I contacted the company and they refused to pay for the shipping to return the items. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. "
