"Customer Service is Weak. Kyle acts more like a Goal Keeper preventing issues from getting through than actually solving issues. I would recommend some of the other on-line sites than are a bit cheaper, can actually combine orders and don't make excuses as to why they can't do anything but stick to the same old script of....Sorry Sir, we cant do that but HAVE A GREAT DAY!"

"Don't know about the store front, but the online store leaves a lot to be desired. Hard to navigate the website as there are so many pre-orders and back orders listed you have a difficult time finding what is actually in stock. I have ordered several times and it seems like every other time my order is packed poorly. While they have what appears to be some good deals, it isn't a good deal if your stuff arrives dinged up and damaged. I'll stick with Midtown and Mile High, thank you. "
"They often offer more choices and titles than most of the stores i see online or go to in person. They have great prices. The downside is they don't always reply and the are a couple items i preordered long before they came out and never got. The items have since been released hir shelves and been taken down. It's been months one just got sent and the other i bought at walmart. My mail carrier started bending my books so i asked TFAW to please write do not bend it them. They haven't and didn't even reply. I have them sent to a different address. Soon as i can find the covers i want somewhere else i will stop using this site. "

Items reposted as not on sale. Very disappointed as I have been a long time customer. Ended up with 1/3 of the items I was buying."
"I usually find all recent and current comics I'm searching for, I don't think tfaw has a particularly good back issue selection but that's not what I typically look for from tfaw, I come here for stuff my local comic book store doesn't or won't carry. I like the prices and the various discount or sales as well as the bag and board feature which I always choose. Typically I use the free shipping coupon if I spend under $100 but if I'm over I usually go for shipping with insurance. Once again I got what I was looking for and so I am as usual a satisfied customer."
"Ordered 9 items, have received 8, with the 9th due next week. Never had any issues with them or damage. Actually I bought a "Nick and Dent" hyrule historia HC book, and, as far as I can tell, it was emaculate. Would recommend them to people."
"Wonderful for them to bag and board for .25 cents each comic. But when you pre-order 4 comics all coming out on the same day about 2-3 months ahead of time. I didn't expect them to get two of the four in. They could of warned that they are getting the other pre-orders in late and i would of changed shipping info to make the wait a week so i didn't get charged another 3.49 for shipping and handling. Other than that i would recommend this seller to all."

"I pre-ordered 300 books from TFAW and 30 comics were stuffed into ONE comic bag. Each of the 10 bags broke open at different points resulting in the corners being damaged. I emailed TFAW and they stated, they only send books in Very Fine of better condition. The books were very poorly packaged and thrown in a box with limited protection. While companies like DCBS and Midtown send new books in NM-M condition and many which are CGC 9.8 candidates
I am now stuck with 300 books with corner damage because they fall in the VF range because TFAW would not accept a return.

"TFAW in Portland, Oregon is a great place to shop. My only complaint -- which is marginal -- about the website is that you're allowed to put a checkmark beside "Hide Backorders" but I would have also liked to hide Preorders. (My goal was to find something fast, at the time. I did see some great Preorder items, but I was not at the site for that.)"
