"BUYER BEWARE! We purchased our first order with Towel Depot Inc. earlier this year and everything went off without a hitch. However, similarly to many others, our second time ordering was a totally different experience.
We ordered $214 worth of towels on November 7th, 2018. By November 15th, we still hadn't received our order, or any information on shipping for that matter. That being said, I decided to contact customer service but was only able to get through to an automated voicemail. I left a message with our contact info and order number, hoping that someone would be able to get in touch with me and provide me with some information on our order. Never got a call back. Fast forward to 11/29 and we still hadn't heard from anyone in regards to our order.
I called the phone number listed on their website many times - hoping to get through to someone and always ended up with voicemail. I began to wonder if this company was even still in business. In some sort of last-ditch effort, I went onto their website to try and chat with someone on their instant messenger. After a wait, I am able to get to speak with someone and they gave me the same spiel that several other customers mentioned in previous reviews about the order being damaged in transit. They assured me that our new order was sent out earlier this week and that it was to be delivered the following week. But after all of the reviews, stating that they got the same story and then still never got their order, I was extremely skeptical.
The only way I was FINALLY able to get someone to contact me by phone was after threatening to call and report them to the Better Business Bureau. Then I get a call from an unapologetic man named Sam who attempts to tell me that our new order of towels will be sent out today... but wait - over the instant messenger they told me that the towels were already sent out earlier this week? Things are really not adding up here. I continue to press him for tracking info, explaining that the reason I'm so frustrated is because of all of the reviews I have just read about people being scammed by his company. He proceeded to argue with me in a very rude tone about how "only angry customers leave negative reviews. I could pay someone to leave positive reviews on my website if I wanted to" blah blah blah. Well guess what buddy, PEOPLE TEND TO BE UPSET WHEN A COMPANY IS STEALING FROM THEM!! Finally after a long argument he agrees to cancel our order and refund our credit card. I am still waiting for the refund and if it doesn't go through I fully plan on reporting this business to the authorities. I urge you to stay away from this business at all costs."
"We put in an order for our Car wash locations back in July. Up to 10 days ago (Sept. 4th, 2018) still had not received the order yet. After tow phone conversations with "Jimmy" (a gentleman with an accent from India) he assured me they were finally sent out due to the shipment "being lost"? Anyways, i called him back today (Sept. 14th) and i was given a tracking number from UPS and the order is finally being delivered today! They could use a little help in the administration office but in the end Jimmy did come through. "

We haven’t received our merchandise as of this writing. We tried calling the contact # and was met with a recorded message saying they will call us back, never received a call back. Tried a live chat on the web site, no response. Tried reaching them on the contact page on their web site, claims my message was unable to go through. Finally I contacted my bank and filed a claim, I will be calling the BBB and the New State Department of Consumer Affairs."
"Do not order from this website! Its a SCAM and you'll lose your money. Claimed the carrier lost the first shipment but I had to call the company to find this out. They claimed they would reship my order but failed to provide any shipping information not the second order. Sent UPS tracking information links from UPS website but the tracking information is never updated. I've called several times, always the same person answers. Spent over $700 and for a church event. We've even used them in the past. Something is seriously wrong. Don't buy from them. "

After getting the BBB in NY involved they finally sent me return shipping labels and they received the towels back 1/9/18 and still have NOT issued a refund! "I bought economy hand towels to use as a sweat towel while exercising on a treadmill or exercise bicycle. They are perfect for that purpose. They are not real plush, but I would not expect that at this price point. They absorb well, though, and are the perfect size for wiping off sweat while exercising. They would also work well as a cheap hand or dish towel. They are priced lower than what you would spend at Wal-Mart for something comparable. They come as a set packaged in plastic. You should wash them and use some fabric softener before use as they are quite stiff initially. My order was processed and shipped very quickly. I am very satisfied."
"I am very dissatisfied with this company. My order was placed on June 19, 2015 for 5 dozen Egyptian cotton white sack towels, non-rush order. According to company policy, non-rush orders ship within 3-5 days. My credit card was charged on June 22, 2015. I waited two weeks with no notification of shipping before emailing the company, on July 2. I received an email 24 hours later, letting me know that this order had already shipped. I requested tracking information. No response. I called the phone # listed, was directed to leave a message and I would be contacted. Again, no response. I e-mailed again on July 8, asking for shipping information, suggesting that maybe I should cancel my order. There was a response within 30 minutes, notifying me that they were cancelling my order because UPS had mislabeled it and it was apparently lost. Another email, within minutes apologizing for the delay in shipping and wondering how they could earn my business, and another with "refund confirmation". So far, no refund, no towels, no satisfaction. I wish I had read the reviews closely before I placed my order with this company."

"Worst experience with a company EVER. It took well over 3 weeks for them to ship the product and give you no information on when they are shipping. They have caller ID and purposely won't answer your phone calls. They would not answer me for 2 days and only after I wrote to the BBB did they answer me (and use my name without me saying it). On top of it, I ordered bleach resistant towels, and they are all bleaching out. I have called for a week straight and when someone finally answered me, they said they would have to check with management on what they can do, and then never called me back. This company is a scam. Please don't order from them, you will only waste your money."
