"I've used Ink Products forever, it seems.
I've used inkjet printers since Quadram Corp was making them and using filed aluminum ink bladders for supply - HP, Epson and Canon didn't exist as suppliers at that time.
I discovered Ink Products about 11 years ago and have been a customer ever since - saving literally thousands of dollars over the span of this relationship.
Both of us have experienced growth pains over the years but the issues have ALWAYS been amicably resolved.
No company I have dealt with in the past or currently deal with has been more helpful in handling my problems with courtesy and speed. I've never had a late shipment from them that I wasn't notified prior to the original due date as to when the item would arrive.
I hope Tom and his people hang around for a long time - their courtesy, helpfulness and product performance sets benchmarks for on-line sales help and courtesy.
As for the dissatisfied whiners, I believe you reap what you sow. From the rudeness of your remarks, I'd probably treat you the same way if you were my customer - life's too short to be upset by the likes of you.

"I recently got a continuous ink system from inkproducts.com. The ink prints just as nicely as HP’s own, and at a fraction of the cost. But what’s amazing is that the owners (it’s a family business) went way beyond what anyone could expect in the way of customer service. They know everything there is to know about printers, and took the time to help me with every aspect of installing their system. Do not be afraid of the installation process, and don’t hesitate to phone them.
I bought one from another company and it turn out to be a nightmare. Don't believe all that your read.
They are the best!

"I received my continuous system for the Canon MX 882 and a was very impressed by the quality of the product. I was able to install the system easily with the supplied instructioncs and after a couple of cleanings it was printing flawlessly. The prints look great and I am saving a ton of money in ink costs. I couldt't be happier with the product or there customer service. I don't usually comment on products but I have been so pleased with this I wanted to let others know.

"I am the proud owner of 3 CISS systems. I must say you guys are tops. Tom is such a cool guy to talk to and very supportive not that you really need too much support because the systems are put together so good. I have two HP officejet 7000 and just purchased another one for my Epson WF-7010. I wish I had known about this many years ago. I do desktop publishing and I could have probably bought myself a new car with the money I would saved on ink. I must say not all systems are created equal and I learned that the hard way. Used another vendor and it clogged up my printheads and it was just a disaster. My advice would be anyone considering a CISS system would be to buy from Inkproducts. The best hands down. I don't usually take the time to write something but I just had to in this case. I now have all my friends using inkproducts.com"

"Disappointing experience with inkproducts.com and I can't recommend them. I ordered an Epson CIS. From the defining it had problems and I had multiple calls to support. They finally conceded it was an issue with a defective valve and offered to replace it. I took a while to return the product and when I did I had no response. Now a month later from them receiving the return, they said my RMA had expired and I can pay $50 to replace the ink and shipping. I don't care to invest an additional $50 in a product that I don't know will work since mine never worked well."

"I ordered a continuous ink kit last week. It arrived broken. All 6 tabs were broken off the cartridges, one of the cartridges was missing the chip, and the ink leaked all over the inside of the box. I sent them photos and asked them to replace it. Their response was that it was impossible for it to break.

They have since refused to respond to my emails.

I returned the kit to them and they refused to accept it and sent it RETURN TO SENDER. They also failed to honor their 5% discount.

I have since protested the charges with my credit card company and contacted the Florida State Attorney General for deceptive business practices as INKPRODUCTS.COM offers a 30 day guarantee.

Avoid these scam artists at all costs.

There are better vendors, with better prices in NY and other places.

"Ordered from multiple times trying, getting same problems with multiple printers. Seemed ok initially, but all products failed within 1 year.

Currently, I would advise to avoid. Ending up replacing 7 printheads on 3 different printers: hp 8500, hp d7560, and hp c309. Since 02/11 have spent approximately $1000 on this experiement, which is comparable to what I would have paid for regular printing through my business (without the headaches of refilling/cleaning ink.)

Apparently, hp 8500 have a problem with printheads that may be corrected. No explanation on d7560 or c309 failures yet, but am working with the company to fix the problems. I will update with any/all changes (12/9/11).

"I have worked with computers & printers since 1965. Recently I purchased a Continuous Ink supply System (CIS), & their HP Snap-On Prime Tool, as well as a bulk Color Ink Pack for HP 940 cartridges from InkProducts, Inc. (previously The Ink Place) for my HP Officejet Pro 8500A Premium All-In-One A910n printer and have been extremely well-satisfied with both the products & my experience dealing with InkProducts, Inc. Not only were they courteous, but the were tremendously helpful with information both before, & after the sale.

I have now stepped up to InkProducts new CIS for my printer that eliminates the remote reservoirs & tube ink feed system & found it to be even better than the previous system.

One of my benchmarks for rating any company is whether they are willing to listen to my concerns & suggestions. InkProducts not only listened, but has adopted some of my suggestions for improving their instruction set. In my opinion you could not ask for a better product than the InkProducts CIS & Snap-On Prime tool, or for a better supplier than InkProducts.

"I ordered a system for my Canon Pixma and it never came in the mail. When I called customer service to ask about it the customer service rep, "Pam", who was also the office manager, was most unhelpful. There was a simple mess-up at the post office, but she suggested that I wasn't even the person who ordered the product and they would call the actual customer when they received the returned product in the mail. When I asked her to read back the shipping address she refused & yelled at me. The conversation did not end well & I don't really care that I never received the product (good or bad). I will NEVER do business with inkproducts.com again if that's how they treat a customer with a basic question. I will be trying earthinkjet.com instead (per previous review)."

"I order a CIS system for my Canon MX860 printer. I contacted inkproducts.com with questions about the product before purchasing, and I was pleased with the prompt and helpful customer service.

After placing my order, I received it quickly (understandably because I live in Florida) and installation of the system using the written instructions and youtube video from the inkproducts.com youtube page were very helpful. I think I finished installation in about 30 minutes.

I had some questions after installation, so I called their customer service number. I spoke to their representative and I got a call back from their tech support in minutes with helpful answers to my questions. I really appreciated the prompt reply.

So far things are working very well, and I would highly recommend others looking for an economical way to manage their printer ink to consider ordering from this company. I would also suggest for people with questions about their products and their printer to call them up, and I also recommend to check out their youtube page and see if you can find a video on how to install CIS for your specific printer.

"I ordered a Canon CIS from them, and they canceled my order because they insisted that I have a Canadian shipping address.

I told them through multiple emails that the BILLING ADDRESS was Canadian. They shipping address was in Michigan.

I tried calling several times, with no response.

No response to repeated emails, asking for an update.

Terrible customer service.

When I finally got through, they insisted that it was my fault, and they would not update the shipping information.

Whatever.

Going to try earthinkjet.com. It is a bit more money, but seems like a superior product.

"Placed the order just over a week ago, for a CIS for my HP OfficeJet 6500. Order went smoothly, product arrived quickly. No trouble installing the product, and very satisfied with the print quality of over 100 full 8 1/2 x 11 pages of photos.

Needless to say, according to the chips, that were on the "starter cartridges", ALL 4 of them read totally depleted, yet the printer still prints the photos perfectly fine. (I already used about 3/4 of the original ink when this system arrived, and had not bought any spare cartridges, since I have only had the printer for less than a month now.)

I will definitely purchase more ink through them, when I need the ink.

"I was also very skeptical about their large capacity ink tank that uses tubes to feel the printing head. It sounds like a cool idea, though so I gave it a try. Two sets of original ink cartridges cost as much as the entire kit from The Ink Place.

My order was processed quickly and the packaging was great. The product itself comes with very detailed instructions. Installing these systems does take a some skill and yes you will get a little bit of ink on your fingers. If you follow their instructions it works very well though! Much better than I thought!

The amount of ink is 10-20 times of the original cartridges so you'll save a lot of money over time. Of course this only makes sense if you actually print a lot.

My next big concern was the quality of the ink. I've had bad experiences with other low cost ink refillers so I was especially worried about the quality of photo prints. I did several test on different paper types and I have to admit I'm very pleased with the quality of the prints, the colors & the detail. These inks are definitely up to the same standard as the original ink from HP. There is no shift in colors, no bleeding ink, even finest detail shows up in my prints.

So far I have not found any disadvantage over using original inks. None of my initial concerns turned out to be true. I highly recommend their products if you need to print a lot but want to keep cost reasonable.

"I have to admit I was a little skeptical based on a couple of reviews. I looked at a lot of other products and was convinced this was worth a shot. This has to be one of the best purchases I,ve ever made online. I bought the refillable cartridges for my Epson Artisan 800. I have a very critical project but was running over cost using Epson Cartridges. These worked perfectly and saving me a bunch. So well in fact that I deviated from the clear directions and pulled out the cartridges early to see if it was showing the right amount of ink. I called the company and got a very pleasant person that helped me right away. I look forward to dealing with them again..Kudos to a great company!"
