"I purchased the Chill/Lucid Blend after reading a lot of good reviews for it. It arrived in a timely fashion etc. Total scam, this stuff does nothing. I made several others smoke it to see if maybe I was an exception, no one felt a thing, not a single thing. This product is so lucid, you cant even feel any effect! I will ensure to tell everyone who mentions herbal proucts that this one is completly worthless."

Also, as we all know, every body is different, and every one of us reacts differently to everything from foods to medicines to to drinks to herbal products. What some swear by, others feel absolutely nothing at all. What some might get terribly ill over, may completely heal others.

We only carry products that we all personally believe in here at the shop, and a product we presently believe in is the the SweetSmoke line of products. But like many of the close to 2,000 products we offer, we are the distributor or the reseller and not the manufacturer. Most of our products that require manufacture have the manufacturer's information on it so that you can contact the manufacturer directly if you're unhappy with your product. We're always happy to refund an order, but with many of the products we offer, we don't have direct control over the manufacture of the product itself. We can provide feedback from customers and often do, which we pass onto the manufacturer in the hopes that constructive feedback will help improve the quality of their products.

So, we kindly ask if you would consider giving us a rating based on what we do in these instances, which includes getting you the products you offer as quickly as we say we will (we'll get you your products the next day if you order before 3:00PM, CST), providing you with clear information for our shop and the products we offer, addressing any problems or concerns you might have with your order in a timely manner, providing you with as much information as we can on any of the products we offer, having the items in stock, and so on.

"I am in no way trying to be rude, as i respect what Iamshaman has and have heard good things from them, ALSO i really like how you can get instant help from their site, but I have had a negative experience the only time I have bought so I must report accordingly.

I placed a rather large order of about 8 items around december 20, expecting the package to be at my house when i returned from vacation on january 10 (or at least it would be very close to my house) to my surprise, no package was there.

So I went onto their site and used the instant help feature and was talking to someone who said my package had not yet been sent, and this "just happens to international orders sometimes". I was pretty disappointed but was told a new order was placed and would be sent out the next day and i would recieve a confirmation and tracking email in a day or two.

So I waited 3 days, and no email was sent, I go back online to the same help feature and have to do the exact same thing again, because she said NO NEW ORDER WAS PLACED. At this point I was very frustrated because i should have had my package by now, being almost a month since my initial order.

So eventually I got my tracking number and it is now february the 6 and STILL NO PACKAGE. It has almost been 2 months and I am growing EXTREMELY frustrated because I REALLY needed some of the items in the package about a month ago.

I cannot believe it is taking this long and I am NOT having a good experience with Iamshaman. Also it should be noted when their instant help line was offline due to business hours, I sent 3 emails and NEVER received a response to any of them, making communication VERY difficult and frustrating.

Other than that, I find the staff very friendly and they seem to do their best, but I extremely frustrated at the moment and am in no way happy with the service i received from this website. I did receive a 10% discount off my next purchase for my troubles, but i cannot imagine returning to this site just because I will get maybe $5 off my next purchase.

I would also like to note that I now have absolutely no use for 3 of the items in my package because I needed them by january 20 (giving Iamshaman a MONTH to ship a package to Canada). I am emailing Iamshaman asking if there is anyway I can send the package back and receive a complete refund, because this is simply ridiculous.

Near instantly after writing this review, i was contacted by the OWNER of Iamshaman.com. It turns out the reason for my package being so late is due to the fact that it needs to be thoroughly checked in customs for the legality of the smoke blends I had purchased. After the first package was held up for a certain amount of time, a second package was sent. This is why I had the impression that no package was sent until a month later.

Make no mistake that Iamshaman will exhaust EVERY possibility to satisfy their customer. The emails I received notified me that the owner actually shut down the online help station to test the offline help center to see what went wrong for me, I am beyond pleased with the response i got once it was clear i was not happy. I have still not received my package, but realize that this is beyond the reach of Iamshaman, and I will just have to wait until customs clears my package. I was given many options by the Iamshaman staff as to what I should do, and let me say this again...

These people do not rest until you are happy, I was not aware that customer service like this still existed in this day and age.

Note: you may not want to order smoke blends to Canada, as it does take a long time to clear customs.

“My sincerest apologies.  Max was not being rude in the least, and has every right to be upset.  That being said, as owner of the shop, it was my job to make sure we did everything possible to resolve this as best we could. The first thing I did was respond to Max privately, immediately offering a full refund in good faith, asking him to simply write "Refused" on the package(s) whenever Canadian Customs decided to deliver one or both to him. I also made the offer that he take a few items from the order (whenever it arrived) and return the rest, still with a full refund. Finally, I offered an even larger discount code if he ever wished to shop with us again, as well as my personal email address so I could personally watch over any future orders he might place.

We then did a full investigation into this event, and Max was kind enough to help with that as well. We save every email sent or received from our shop for a period of time just for rare events such as this. We searched for any email that might have been related to Max or this order, and the only ones we have on file are the order notifications that were automatically generated by our system, including automatic notification to Max for the re-send on the January 21, 2011. We then ran multiple tests on our Offline LiveHelp feature, as well as our automatic notification system, and both appeared to us and to Max to be working properly. So, the question as to what happened to his several emails he sent us from our LiveHelp system or the automatic order notifications unfortunately remains unanswered at this time.

As far as the (agreeably ridiculously) long delay with these particular international shipments, since we have no control over International Shipping or Customs, we do have our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee in place. That states that if a customers package doesn't arrive within 4 weeks for an International Order, we don't actually place a new order, but we will re-ship the package. We then ask that if both packages do eventually arrive (which is usually what eventually happens), to simply write "Refused" on the unopened package so it gets sent back to us. As stated above, we sent that replacement package out on the 21st of January according to our policy.

Since it's been another 3 weeks as of this writing and Max says he still hasn't received that shipment, I'm honestly not sure what else we can do. Closing in on almost 500,000 customers, with daily shipments to Canada that often number several dozen, this is truly an unprecedented event for us. Since Max's order, at least a few hundred packages have arrived to Canadian customers with no issue, as well as thousands of other International Shipments. We're extremely proud of our very close to 100% success rate in getting package to customers wherever they are in the world, but I know that doesn't help Max out, and it seems we've unfortunately lost a customer as a result. My offer still stands for Max if he ever changes his mind, but I certainly don't blame him for going elsewhere.”

"I just received my first order from IAmShaman.com and I am truly impressed! The order arrived three business days after I placed my order, which was quicker than I expected, and everything was packaged beautifully!
I ordered the following products: Brain Support tincture, "Chill/Lucid" herbal smoking blend, Calea Zacatechichi 10x dry extract, and Ashwagandha powder.
The tincture is in a glass bottle which was carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. All of the herbal products were packed in plastic bags with clear and informative labels. The Calea Zacatechichi even came with a very informative sheet describing the traditional use of the plant. And the smoking blend came along with a package of unbleached rolling papers, which I think is a really nice touch!
The care and attention to detail with which this order was put together was immediately obvious. I will DEFINITELY place another order with IAmShaman.com soon!!! Thank you! :)

The Peruvian Torch seeds arrived a few days later with a note stating that the San Pedro seeds were out of stock and that they would be shipped separately. I've contacted them multiple times with no reply. In addition, the seeds I did receive are not germinating despite my professional set-up.

With many hundreds of thousands satisfied customers (and counting) throughout the years, it's still hurts to hear when even one customer isn't pleased with their purchase. So first, our apologies at your dissatisfaction. We've got multiple ways of getting in touch with us, from e-mail that gets answered within a few hours to no more than twenty-four hours, LiveChat that's available during normal business hours, and of course a phone with knowledgeable agents standing by to assist with any questions, problems, or purchases. "All I can say is "Wow!" These guys are incredible. I had never ordered before from them and wanted to dig up some information. I figured I'd just call them up and see if they were legit -- why not? I talked to a woman who was just the sweetest, most helpful customer service person I have ever dealt with. She had all the answers I needed. She said all the info was available on their website, but she didn't mind talking to me; in fact, she said she loved talking to customers! Most customer service people don't care about you at all, they feel like they're just collecting a paycheck. The people at IAmShaman really care and that makes all the difference to me!

And oh yeah... my package shipped out THAT DAY, literally an hour after I placed my order. Uh... yeah, that's customer service. Thanks guys!

"i sent them an order for salvia and got an email conformation dec 23 '07-another on jan 4 saying it would be shipped that day-i emailed them jan 30 to ask the order status-they said they no longer sell it and my money order was returned jan 4-on march 23 ,after the required 60 days i paid $5 to do a ps form 6401 money order track and found out that the money order was deposited in the iamshaman bank of america account on jan 7-i told them and they said they would send a refund ASAP-5 weeks later i still hadn't got it and asked them what "ASAP" means to them- finally on may7 i got my $41.69 refund but not the $5 i asked for the search i did-these people are either ripoffs or just plain incompetent "

“Customer complaints, on the rare occasions they happen, trouble us deeply, partly because one of the original missions of this shop was to do whatever it takes to ensure that every one of our 350,00 customers (and counting) are pleased with their interaction and their orders with us. IAmShaman takes great pride in all we do, especially in regards to our customer service and we do everything in our power to fix any customer issue in as fair and timely a fashion as possible. Customer loyalty is far more important than a single botched order, and this instance is no exception.

In short, we apologize for the bad experience you had with our shop. If I were you, I’d be upset as well, and I know there’s really no excuse for poor customer service, but I offer at least this: As the day of Salvia becoming illegal in Illinois loomed closer, we were inundated with waves of orders that far exceeded anything we’ve handled before. We did everything we could think to do; we hired more staff, we started extracting Salvia around the clock, and we made every effort to get customers their shipments promptly and well in advance of the (unreasonable and unfair) law going into effect on January 1, 2008.

We actually made the difficult decision to stop shipping Salvia several days prior to December 31, 2007, to help ensure that we and our treasured customers didn’t inadvertently break the law by handling Salvia after it became illegal. But, due to the overwhelming number of orders and the increasingly limited timeframe, we weren’t able to ship out all orders we received during that unique and unbelievably busy time. While shipping out an extraordinary large number of orders, we then had a secondary task of making every possible effort to quickly return customers’ payments for orders we couldn’t fulfill. We did our best, we sent out apologies, but as seen in this issue, we failed to perform to the level we would have liked.

The bottom line is this: We never forget that without our loyal customer base, we wouldn’t exist. We are truly thankful and appreciative of every one of our customers, and if there’s ever an issue, we simply ask customers for the opportunity to make it right. Even if it seems we’re difficult to reach at times, we’re here to answer every issue and every question, 6 days a week, without fail.

"I've paid extra for express shipping on my order. My order was placed on the 24th of August, it is now September 1st and I still do not my have items. iamshaman refuses to reply to any messages regarding this situation. Originally my address was written down wrong by Iamshaman's staff, my items are still not here and I have not received a reply regarding my refund for shipping. Considering the mistake was made by Iamshaman staff, the shipping payment should be refunded. This does not happen, they fail to answer the telephone and emails with questions. I will NEVER order from this online store again."
