Damaged Item Received

"The ordered a "Pivot Desk" from The Classy Home that required assembly. This desk is more of a multi-media table that has 4 horizontal shelves. Three of the 4 shelf panels arrived damaged. The assembly directions had drawn assembly parts that did not match the panels themselves and it was extremely difficult to interpret which shelf was to be attached to the other. (It certainly would have been easier if each panel had a corresponding letter on the bottom side of the panel.) And since The Classy Home is only open during business hours (EST) 4 days a week and a half day on Fridays, they are very hard to contact. I noticed that the poor review on the Pivot Desk I provided is NOT being reflected on the "Be The First To Review This Pivot Desk." As there are no other reviews, I have to wonder how many other poor reviews did not make it to their order page! Do not order this desk and I strongly recommend not purchasing anything from The Classy Home!"

'The Classy Home' are professionals.

"The prices at 'The Classy Home' would be very difficult to beat, even with the cost of shipping. We had a chaise delivered to us at almost 3000 miles from the shipping point and it arrived in good time but suffered some minor damage. Without asking for compensation 'The Classy Home' offered a generous refund of the price of the chaise to make reparation for the shipping damage. We thought that this was a professional expression of their willingness to give the customer a fair deal. 'The Classy Home' is well worth your consideration."

Overall a good experience

"I ordered a king sized platform bed with drawers. It came when expected. There was a problem with not getting the drawers. But after contacting Classy home they did everything to find out what happened and discovered the the shipping company didn't unload them off the truck. But we have the whole bed now and couldn't be happier. I will be buying from them again"

Great Customer Service and FAST shipping

"We ordered 3 bar stools and they initially said it would take 3 weeks for them to ship. I sent an email an got an immediate response saying they would cancel my order if I would like. We kept the order in place and received the stools the next week. We could not be happier with the service and the stools. Great company, would order again from them without a second thought."

Good product, slow service

"Product arrived as described, however it took over 1 month from when we ordered for it to arrive. Twice it was delayed due to being backordered, then finally shipped after 3 1/2 weeks. Once in transit, it took another week and a half to arrive. Meanwhile, they had charged our credit card from the onset, even though they knew the item was delayed, instead of waiting til the item shipped to run the charge through"

Got a great deal, but the shipping company has a very limited schedule

"The ordering process was easy and I got a great deal on my furniture. The shipping was timely, but the shipping company The Classy Home uses does not work weekends and has a very limited delivery schedule. When I called them I was told they cannot guarantee a specific delivery window (morning or afternoon) and they only delivered specific weekdays to my area. I was very disappointed to have to take time off work just to wait for a furniture delivery, and as such I will probably not use this company again."

Underwhelmed

"Very poor communication from the company. They said the item would ship during a certain window. When it did not, I waited a week then contacted the Classy Home asking about me order. Two days later I received an e-mail saying it shipped that day (a week and a half after originally stated). Then the shipping company took two weeks to get it to me. They gave me an arrival date and delayed it three time. Finally the shipping company would only leave it at the bottom of my driveway. They would not even put it on the front porch. I will not be using this company again and I do not recommend it to anyone else. "
