But since I needed a dress and absolutely loved that Serena dress in the show, I decided to risk it. Ive ordered from them 3 times.
The first time my biggest issue is how cheap they are on fabric. The dress came out, short, the fabric was completely different than the photo and the adjustment I asked for was all wrong. I had to pay another $100 CAD in alterations
In desperation I tried again and ordered another dress that seemed simple to make. I sent them a PDF detailing what I want made, how i want it made and reference photos of what NOT to do. I even lied about how tall i was so they don't cheap out on fabric and detailed i wanted Multiple layers of fabric and not a cheap skirt underneat a thin layer of fabric that gives a 'full skirt' look
. The got it 90% right this time I had to still do an alteration because they added a slit, an NONE of the photos i sent had slits. so That was stupid.
This Last time i tried again. I chose a custom velvet dress. I chose velvet because its one of the easiest fabrics to work with.
I requested a velvet BALL gown. they sent an A line gown
I requested that it has alot of volume in the skirt as shown in the reference image, it had NO volume, in fact it kept clinging to my legs.
I requested sleeves that pass my wrists, i even lied about my arm length so they dont cheap out on fabric. Still, the sleeves were 2 inches above my wrist.
The model had diamonds glued to her chest like a necklace (Nothing to do with the dress)
They Added a WHITE fabric with sequins attached around the neckline. it looked ridiculous.
I would have been willing to pay more had they just done what i asked. They just said 'Okay' to all my requests and followed nothing but the color. "

"Ordered my wedding dress around 2 weeks ago . Arrived today , I love it , the material is light and comfy I'm a 14/16 but ordered size 18 went from the measurements on website. It is a little to big in one area so I will have it taken in slightly but that's ok . I'm getting married abroad so the material is perfect not heavy and doesn't crease easy .
