Total fraud, scam operation, beware, do not give them info.

"This operation is a total fraud. They do not really sell, ship or have anything other than scam artists. They take your credit card info and sell it for fraudulent use, and have no intention of shipping anything on their site. They do not respond to emails and do answer their phone number. Again, TOTAL SCAM SITE!"

"Same story here, too. Just change the dates. And guess what, my Credit Card info was stolen and used just days after I placed my first order. I have a credit with them that I am trying to use so I placed a small order, but so far I've been waiting a week and still no confirmation of shipment. I have to say, though, that they have not charged my account yet and there have been no unauthorized charges to it.

Well, here it is, a week later and they charged my CC account FOR THE WRONG AMOUNT, and have not shipped the order yet. I'm checking with them tomorrow and if they have not credited my account, I'm going to contest it with my CC company.

"I so wish I had read these reviews before I placed my order. Please read the other reviews, since my story is virtually the same only the dates and products are different. My initial order was placed 11/18/11 and after many phone calls (9) and assurances that the right products had been shipped this time, today I received a refund. Even though I was assured last week that the product had shipped, today they said they can't get it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!"

"I ordered 4 manuka honey from them on 12/28/11 and it did not arrived until 3 weeks later. What's even worst was that i just found out from my credit card company is that someone had use it to make severals purchased over $ 400-500 within minutes that my ordered of the honey and my american express know my spending habit so the send me an email and a letter confirming those charged. I was shock after i read the email and call my AX and told them that besides using it to ordered the manuka honey from takeherb.com i have nerver use it anywhere else recently. Today i put two and two together i have no doubt that this company has something to do with my credit card infor. Was stolen! Today i went directly to the BBB and check them out. After many tried the BBB could not find takeherb.com register. Well, there... Judge for yourself whether you want to do business with a company that has no reputation to protect and had so much bad reviews. Unfortunately, i did not read these review before i ordered from this company. I was taken in by the dirt cheap price compared to drugstore.com but now i had to changed all of my credit card info as a result. It's a big hassle. Luckily, my credit card company stop those fraud charges on time and did not hold me liable for it. Even those the honey i ordered from takeherb.com did finally arrived and seems to be in it's original condition but i am still very scared to ever do business with them ever again! I would not trust this company or it staffs because i did also call the customer service to ask why did the advertise the honey was blend when the bottle said nothing about blend but instead it said it a 100 % pure honey, the customer service guy said he does not know and that he will have his manager call me or email me to explain but i never got any call or email from takeherb.com. As i had mention before, this company is very bad in term of customer service and the staff was not knowledgable and has privacy issues. To make a long story short, i would not risk doing business with takeherb.com or recommend anyone else doing business with them. If you're tempted by their cheap price ask youself is it is worthy it to have your financial information compromised!

"The prices are good but that is THE ONLY GOOD part of dealing with this company. I ordered on 9/28/2011 and they didn't ship until 10/6/2011 so you can forget about timely shipping.
The real zinger, though, is that my credit card info was stolen as a result of this transaction. I didn't put the two together until I spoke with my brother-in-law who also ordered AND HAD HIS CREDIT CARD INFO STOLEN.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS THE "JUICE ISN'T WORTH THE SQUEEZE".

"Horrible...$8.25 for shipping and 2.5 weeks later no item. They do not respond to customer service requests. Six contacts and no responses. They do not do what they say they are going to do. Got a notice from my bank account today that someone is trying to log into my account; seems like they've started with me."

"The conversation pasted below took well over half an hour (I wish they had a time stamp). No one has attempted to contact me to "make it right", but after finding this Reseller Ratings site... I'm glad I took my business elsewhere!
(After waiting more than 10 minutes for their "Chat by internet" feature):
TakeHerb: Hello, how can I help you?
Me: I had 2 items in my shopping bag for $3.84 a piece and all of a sudden, the price jumped up to $4.30 a piece - what gives?
TakeHerb: I'm sorry for the delay. I'll be right with you.
TakeHerb: I will be right with you.
TakeHerb: What is the item#?
Me: 29716 and 29713
TakeHerb: Thank you for waiting. I'll be with you in just a moment.
TakeHerb: It looks like the recent cost of the product has gone up slightly.
Me: while I was in the middle of shopping?
TakeHerb: No, the cost product had gone up 2 weeks ago.
Me: Why did it change while I was shopping today then?
TakeHerb: If you click on the product, then the correct pricing should come up. However I can give you a discount on the order and provide you as the same pricing as before.
Me: Thank you
Me: I do have a print out of the price from earlier today if you want to see it
TakeHerb: You can choose to place the order and provide me with the order# once you are done, I can make the necessary adjustments.
TakeHerb: Otherwise, I can place the order for you.
Me: Can you just give me a coupon code I can apply to the order?

Me: I appreciate your help, but this chat has taken a long time to complete... is there anything else you can do for me - after all of this aggravation, I will only be getting back .92 cents which was the price on my computer and in my shopping bag an hour ago, before I had to deal with all of this confusion.

Thanks anyway - I know it is not your fault, but to have prices change in the middle of my shopping, to then tell you about it and for you to tell me it happened 2 weeks ago (like I am a liar?), and then to tell me all you can do is honor the original price and give me a free gift I am not interested in - I'm sorry, but I guess stumbling upon Take Herb was not the blessing I thought it was earlier

Me: But it didn't show up when I clicked on the actual item and it was in my shopping bag at $3.84 - I can e-mail you the print out if you want to see it. Then while I was shopping, I already had several items in my bag, the site seemed to have a problem and wasn't letting me go where I wanted to go, so I clicked back a few times, then it worked, but when the next item went in my shopping bag, the price on 2 of my items had gone up?

Me: Anyone will honor an original price, or even price match, but I have a million things to do today and to spend all of the time this has taken to just get the original price feels like a rip off.

"I had a horrible experience with takeherb.com. I'm livid. I ordered a product from them. Twelve days later it did not arrive. I call and told them that my product had not yet arrived. The "customer service" rep then told me that I had received an email stating that the product was discontinued and that I was refunded. I have received no such refund or any email to that effect. She then said she would resend the cancellation. The cancellation stated that they regret that I cancelled the order. What? They cancelled the order. I called them back and the "customer service" rep had the audacity to hang up on me. Do not order from this sham of a storefront! *UPDATE* - Takeherb did refund my money, but I would not recommend this company, way to much risk in my opinion just to get low-cost vitamins."

"Well, I read the reviews of TakeHerb after I was waiting for some time for a package to arrive and could not get any information/response from the company. I was worried to see that there are so many claims of credit card information being stolen, but I assumed all was well since I have never encountered a problem--ever--with my banking information being stolen.

Yesterday, my bank called with a list of fraudulent charges and, today, while speaking with them on the phone, I recalled the complaints here and realized this is the only "new" company I've ordered from, and the first and only time I've had my account info stolen. I gave TakeHerb's name to my bank and they are starting an investigation of their own.

Bottom line: believe these reviews. I've never had cc info stolen until an order with this company. There is something very suspect about their lack of communication on this matter and in general. Please use paypal or something that protects your true information if you feel you must order from TakeHerb; otherwise, be prepared to have to change all of your banking info: not fun!

"I was shocked to read that another customer believes TAKEHERB.COM stole their credit card info.

I placed an order on 4/11/11 for nearly $200 with them because they offered a facial product I use frequently at a drastically reduced price. Plus I ordered four other items. A few days after I placed my order, they refunded an item that was offered (to all customers) at a reduced price of $1.22.

Two weeks later, someone went online and purchased $800 of products from Newegg.com and Walmart.com with my credit card info. I still had not received any of my items. I called the company to complain and told them I suspected someone had stolen my credit card info.

Takeherb.com was the only online company I used during that time that I had not used for many years. I had also not used my card anywhere where someone could have copied my info. 5 days later I received a notice that they had shipped my items. Three days after that (5/6/11) I received a notice that I was getting a refund because they didn't have the facial products. At the very least, this company this company is screwed up, if not dishonest.

Every good company lets you know if your entire order is delayed when they have already taken your money- the best don't charge until they ship. I am reporting to the BBB. STAY AWAY!

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. We have been dealing with this for 4 months trying to get an order completed. After 2 emails, and 4 phone calls we have given up. They advertise a product and then send you a smaller amount of the product and charge you the same price. They will not respond to our emails and over the phone they promise to make it right and never follow through. Advertising products at a low price just to get to order. I am reporting them to the BBB."

"I placed 2 orders with this company in the past
received orders promptly with no problem...
BUT
I placed an order with this company on March 13, which was marked "Processed" on that date. I didn't hear anything after that. I got no response to emails. I have called, several times, ***-***-**** and held on the line for HOURS on speakerphone, then getting dumped into a voicemail. Finally today, March 24, finally got someone to answer my call - whom told me the items "just arrived" and will be sent "2 day priority". We will see if it really happens...

"Terrible company to do business with. I placed an order from TakeHerb.com over 3 months ago. It did eventually arrive, but half the order was incorrect. Despite several email attempts to contact them, they never responded. I finally called them and spoke to someone about the error. He seemed concerned, and assured me that he would send a postage paid label so I could return the incorrect items. This never arrived. Since I needed the items I had ordered, I decided to keep the product they had sent and used it even though it was not what I wanted. Now, months later, I get a prepaid return label in the mail from Dynamic Bridge (not the name of the company I ordered from)--no explanation of what it is for or whom they represented. After Googling the name Dynamic Bridge, I finally figured out that they represented TakeHerb.com (took a bit of sleuthing to do this). Totally unsatisfactory experience with this company. I certainly will never do business with them again."
