"This is the worst experience i ever had. This site and their customer service just horrible. Place order which clearly indicate in stock and ship in 1 day. but after a whole week pass nothing shipped, called so many times, everytime is a different story, finally they said, they are out of stock which they could have told me the first time i called and cancel order, but they choice to lie and drag about it . "

"Takeherb keeps your credit card info on file without your consent. There is also no option to remove this information out of the account. my order took 13 days to arrive instead of the 3-5 day that is described for ground shipping. The herbs I ordered were very good though, and the prices were very low. More bothered by their keeping my credit card info, more than i am bothered by the slow shipping. Their website is down often, and you can't finish placing an order, there's no confirm button sometimes. Very frustrating. Their customer service is not much help. Would I order again? Probably, because I can't find the herbs that cheap anywhere else. If I ever had any problems with them not shipping my order, and i could not get them to refund me, I would settle the problem through my credit card company. "

"This company is AWFUL!!!! Half of the items I ordered were out of stock, and I wasn't notifed of that for over a week. Even worse, my order was held up for days until they finally got around to emailing me to see if I wanted to substitute another item!! I placed my order on 8/1, its is now 8/11 and it has not ARRIVED yet, despite my calling and being promised it was being shipped out on 8/6. It was not shipped until 8/9, three days later, despite telling the rep I needed the items for a sick animal ASAP. HEARTLESS liars!!! Who knows if they actually have shipped it at all!!! I wish I had seem these reviews before I placed this order, I never would have!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!! They claim to do whatever it takes to get customer satisfaction...yet when I called today to complain, the attitude was "tough....have a nice day...click" Rude, incompetent and just a horrible buying experience. They do not stock the items they claim to have. I can't say it strongly enough...DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! HORRIBLE. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

"Made an order with TakeHerb.com on 7/17/10, the product I was ordering stated it was in stock and shipped in 1 day. About a week later, I still hadn't received the product, when other items I ordered the same day had rolled in earlier in the week. I checked on my order online, and it still showed "Processed". I called and asked about the order, they said that they "meant to send an e-mail out that day" informing buyers that their current stock was close to expiration, and that they were getting a new shipment in on Monday, and they upgraded my shipping to Priority. So it's now Wednesday 7/28/10, and my order still showed, "Processed". Called to see what the deal was. The customer service rep on the phone put me on hold for a couple minutes, and then got back on to inform me that they were now not expecting to get stock in until 8/2/10. I ended up requesting he refund my money, as during the period of me being put on hold, I found out that this site had a number of poor reviews, and I found another website with LOTS of positive reviews, selling the same item for nearly the same price, with stock in - so upon hanging up, I just ordered the product from them instead. Guess this is just another lesson in researching vendors before you give them your money. We'll see if I get my refund soon or not."

"I recently placed an order with takeherb.com. It was my first time ordering with them (and last). I was attracted to the company based on their low prices. After comparison shopping they were the lowest, collectively, for all the items I wanted. Saving money is a good thing, right? So I placed my order and waited. And waited. After almost a week of not hearing anything or getting a shipment confirmation I sent them an email. They didn't respond to it. I waited another week and finally called. After waiting 10 minutes on hold the call was answered. The guy that answered the phone had terrible customer service skills. He told me that 3 of my items were on backorder. When I mentioned interest in canceling my order he tried to convince me that my items were supposed to be in that day and also ship out that day and I could call back in the next day to verify this (why would I have to call in to verify it if they were supposed to ship that day?). I said no thanks and had them cancel my order. I was a little worried about getting my money back based on others' reviews, but the money showed up in my account 2 days later. But then, after I had waited all this time and already canceled my order...someone FINALLY answered my original email!! Overall I would say buy at your own risk. Maybe if you buy all in-stock items (which you will never know because most of mine said they would ship out within 1 day, one item said 3 days) you will get your purchase in a timely manner. Who knows. All I know is that I won't be wasting my time with this company again. Saving a few bucks isn't worth the gamble. "

"This company is awful! Half my order was shipped with a note that the rest of my order was on backorder. Shortly after that I got an e-mail that said my items were discontinued. I asked for a refund and although they agreed (have the e-mails to prove it), they never came through. They stole my money, in my book, they are thieves. I would not order from them, not when there are more reputable places to order from."

"HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. It is now March 30th and after repeated contact and several ignored emails, I finally got an email today stating my order had finally been shipped. If you don't mind making a DEPOSIT on a product that you won't get for a month, this is the website to go to. Otherwise, I'd suggest paying twice as much from a more reputable company that responds to emails and keeps verbal promises of refunding your credit card when your order is taking an extremely excessive amount of time to be processed."

"Very slow service. Did eventually receive my order, which was shipped via ground service, specified as 3-5 business days. However, the order did not arrive until 3.5wks after ordering, by which point I was preparing to contact my credit card company to have the charge canceled for non-receipt. I have ordered vitamins from numerous other companies and have always received my products very promptly. The extremely slow service with TakeHerb.com does not build confidence, and I would not recommend ordering from them."

"EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I placed an order with this company on November 27, which was marked "Processed" on that date. I didn't hear anything after that. I got no response to emails. I called on December 11 and was told the product had been out of stock since early November.
