Just installed the system this weekend after watching all their youtube videos. Everything is top quality, sounds amazing. Never expected my truck to sound this good. "i bought a system for my 2017 tundra i got the best one they offered at the time and i tell you what it does kick ****. i was a little skeptical at first sending money to texas from seattle but as i got to know these guys i became real comfortable dealing with them.

"Been tinkering in car audio for many years I am not a pro, but installed plenty of JL, Focal and Diamond products in my own trucks. In my line of work all I own are trucks and driving many hours is so finding a good sound system is difficult sometimes. I leased this Tundra through business and needed quick and easy way to fix the **** stock system. Found these guys and thought what a **** joke. Who names their products after tacos? Then I kept researching and found their installs all over the internet. Forums and Facebook. Went back and checked out the plug and play and thought to myself this has to be cheap **** gear. Went to local Tundra meet heard a guys truck and he said it was tacotunes. OK, so gave them a shot to earn all my business. Started with speakers in the front doors. My 2015 Tundra doors are wired all **** up by Toyota. The guys at tacotunes showed me how to fix this problem with their plug and play amps. The amp rack bolts into factory location is a very nice touch. Everything is easy to setup and am have a hard time the power these amps produce. Technology just keeps on moving on. Dollar ratio is crazy better than my last stereo I did in my RAM. Other than some confusion with amp version I would say this was a near perfect experience. Some Cons: Shipping took longer than thought 3 days to get my order out the door? I like paper instructions everything they do is on video. So many options on the site easy to get lost. "

"About a year ago, I ordered a complete Image Dynamics system and Javelin amp from them for my 2012 Tundra. The speakers I ordered were out of stock, and would not arrive in time for my planned install. They were upgraded by Tacotunes so they would arrive on time. Kudos!
The package arrived with every required connection, and more wire than was necessary. The install took two of us all weekend, plus another couple of hours the following evening. There are many videos online which help a lot, but be careful -- there are many which do not apply to every product. You have to be very careful that what you watch is applicable to your setup.
The sound from the Image Dynamics components and the Javelin amp is incredible. It took some tweaking to get the sound right. Tacotunes will tell you to leave the Recurve settings flat, and to do only minor tweaking of the sound on the head unit. I tried that, but couldn't get the sound I knew I wanted. Changing the sound with the Recurve in combination with the head unit tone controls, I was able to dial it in perfectly. I now have great mid-bass, crisp highs, and a strong sub with awesome bass.
There is one thing that Tacotunes does not tell you that I discovered. Hopefully this will help someone. The head unit bluetooth for phone calls uses the two corner dash speakers in my Tundra. These must be left in place and left connected as-is. What I found is that the bluetooth phone call audio is not affected by the front-to-rear fader. Therefore, you can turn the fader on the head unit fully to the rear. This essentially disables the corner dash speakers for music (they sound awful), and they still work for phone calls.
I deducted one star for their service. It is almost impossible to get someone on the phone to ask questions. They have a service ticket system that somewhat works (response is very irregular), and lots of videos (see warning above). If they had more support staff to answer phone calls, that would get them a 5-star rating. Still, the products are great, the complete system has all required parts, and their instructions are fairly complete. I would do business with them again if the need arises."

"Ok, first off I know a lot about 12 v products for vehicles as I am an installation tech by trade. I can install lights, switches, amps and subs in almost anything that has a battery! I grew up as a major bass head, thinking that bump in the trunk(subs) was the really the only thing a stock stereo needed to sound good. I was Wrong! after chatting with the guys over at tacotunes.com about component speakers with tweeters and crossovers my spider sense started tingling. I wanted to know how much better this would effect the sound im used to with only a sub upgrade. So i started doing research to see what options were out there for my Toyota. While researching i stumbled across a site think it was called oem or something like that, seemed to have a package for my Tacoma in my price range. However after comparing the components speakers, subs, and sub box, the choice was clear, I was gonna get a lot more power and watts by going with the tacotunes.com setup for around the same dollar amount. "Couple of weeks ago I was in search for a better sound system for my tundra. I was looking at youtube videos and came across tacotunes. I went on their website and was browsing and the chat poped up with a guy named Daniel who helped me with picking my order and walking me through thr steps.
