"For the most part things are amazing. However, sometimes with behavior issues I feel that the focus is on changing the behavior instead of getting to the root cause of the behavior. Focus on the behavior is very traditional and has been standard educational practice for a long time, but I find, as a parent and teacher myself, that bad behavior has a reason. That reason is rarely a desire to misbehave and is almost always triggered by something we likely don’t even see. It is my hope that there can be a shift to looking at the why of the behaviors to address the real trigger rather than trying to elicit compliance to good behavior. This is obviously more difficult the younger they are, but still doable."

"We have really enjoyed Tutor Time! Because our son is young and there are so many people involved in his care, I am usually confused about who, exactly, are his teachers. It is also sometimes difficult to get accurate information about his day since it is typical to find that the teacher I am asking was not present at the time of day I am asking about.I wish there were more formal introductions made between parents and teachers. I know he is looked after very well, so we are not concerned, but I am never quite sure who to ask about things. Our son is doing very well and the leaps in his understanding, abilities, and skills are so noticeable. He's also extremely socializing thanks to daycare. Overall we really like our choice of school but there are some areas for improvement in terms of staff relationships with the parents."
