"This was my second purchase from Sybercom. I ordered two Celeron 1.7Gh motherboard combos, 512Mb memory stick, and a couple of floppy drives. I put two new computers together and upgraded a third one with the parts I ordered and They work perfectly. No problems what so ever from first boot. I don't have a lot of experience ordering online for computer stuff, but I'll be hard pressed to order from another company. The ordering process was quick, the items were cheap, and no hassles with shipping which were well packaged and undamaged when arrived. I love it when a plan comes together! I also have to thank Reseller Ratings for turning me on to these people at Sybercom. Could'nt be happier."

"Everything was fine at first, they shipped the video card, it came in on schedule, but it was defective. I emailed for the RMA number, they emailed the number and I shipped the item back. They shipped the replacement, but never notified me about receiving the RMA or shipping the new one. I had to write them an email and wait two days for a reply so I could find out what happened to the exchange. Again, the new item they shipped me was also defective, I requested a new RMA number, but they did not email me one, after 3 days, I had to call them and ask for the RMA number. This time I decided I wanted a refund because I did not want to risk getting stuck with another defective item. They insisted the item was not defective and would charge me a 15% fee. I am a computer engineer and have worked with hardware for over 10 years, I sincerely believe that either they are trying to dump defective hardware on unsuspecting customers or their techs are not very knowledgable, because I tried out the video cards on two different systems, with different OSs and drivers, and saw the same type of issues."
"An excellent price on a Chaintech motherboard---good selection of motherboards, too. I needed one that would fit a VERY SMALL Compaq case, and Sybercom was the only one that had a board that would fit. Part of the deal, too, is being able to get a lot of info about a part from the website. Often I had to overlook resellers because they didn't give enough information about their boards. Sybercom had everything on line that I needed to select a board.
They were extremely fast in shipping, and the product was exactly what I ordered, and obviously brand new. It works beautifully.

"I bought an expensive GF3 Ti500 videocard from sybercom because they were one of the only places that had them in stock at that time and stupid me i didn't want to wait. Well it turned out they contacted me by email 2 days later saying it wasn't in stock. So i still stuck it through with them and waited. Finally got it several weeks later, alot later after several other online stores had already restocked them. Well several months later it has died on me. I have spent 5 phone calls on them today, each time it was with a different person, all oriental which was very hard for me to understand but that was not the problem. The problem was they did not want to help me or honor the warranty, they just said to contact manufacturer. The manufacturer said it would take several weeks downtown for my comp since i had to send in card first. Well i contacted sybercom again and they had the video card on their website but outta stock. I asked if i could exchange for an equal price card or pay any differences since money was not the problem it's the downtime. I even asked if i could order another card and send this one back and they can give me an in store credit to use at a later date. No matter what, they did not want to mess with me regardless. Even after asking to speak to a manager she just said same thing, go to manufacturer. She told me that they will only credit me or exchange within 30 days and that anything else i need to go to manufacturer. Basically they blew me off. Well i spoke to the manufacturer and they were very nice and gave me no problems returning the card for another other than downtime. I should have just waited and stuck with a good company like Mwave.com, i've bought thousands of dollars from them and always had good tech support and they always sent me returns before i send them the defected item. I'm writing this to warn everyone about sybercom, not just that they shafted me, but that they do not support their customers, they are also inexperienced about computers, their hard to communicate with unless you are oriental, and really only care about the sell. I'm chalking it up as a bad expirence and a lesson well learned. Avoid at all cost, buy at a reputable place such as multiwave. All who positive reviewed sybercom are prolly people who have not needed any support from them what so ever, i guess they are lucky."
"Ordered a motherboard/cpu combo at a great price. Knowing Iwould have to have it sent to my workplace [due to a required signature], I filled in that address as the Shipto, forgetting that my home address would be needed. About 2 hours after placing the order I received an email from Sybercom telling me about the error and included a toll free number and a sales rep's name. I was surprised that when I was called I only was on hold for two rings and the csr was extremely polite. She quickly made the changes and another 2 hours later I got another email telling me that my order had shipped. The order also had the UPS tracking number. The package arrived at my workplace at noon on the day it was supposed to, and was packed very well. The order contained exactly what I had asked for with one exception. I originally ordered a Celeron 800mhz but I can only guess they were out because I received a 900mhz. The one and only complaint I have is that their website is rather slow loading, but I am currently preparing to place another order. I highly recommend Sybercom."

"Nice experience. Good prices and good shipping costs. I have no experience with their customer service, so I cant tell you how they are if things go wrong and I hope I'll never be able to. My only suggestion is that if you're on the east coast, pay a couple more bucks for the 3day delivery. I ordered on a saturday and recived my order 8 days later (monday). This is due to my area being in the 6 day ups ground shipping distance and is not sybercoms fault. Just a heads up. "
