"The worst on-line ordering experience I have ever had. They were very quick on line to process the payment but I received no tracking information or shipment notification. Finally called 9 days later, sat on hold for 40 minutes, then was told someone would call me back after talking to the distribution center. Never received a call back. Called again two days later and was told it would be dealt with right away and later that day I received a tracking number. Took 5 days for package to arrive and when it did it contained only one of the two things I ordered! Called again, sat on hold, was told the other item would be sent as soon as she could talk to the distribution center. Received a tracking number in an email and have waited another six days for the package which is supposed to arrive today. All in all it has taken nearly a month (June 9 - July 5) since I ordered the two cartridges for each of them to arrive. These people run a terrible organization in every way except billing people quickly for whatever it is they ordered but should not expect to receive without a huge hassle and huge amount of wasted time. The worst!"

"Do not order from this pool company. If you call to place an order or talk to a customer rep., you will always get a recording. They are falsely advertising their customer service staff. I would not be surprised if the company consists of 2 or 3 people.
I ordered a new pool pump online. The next business day I called numerous times and emailed numerous times. When I did get a call back I told the owner on the phone of the urgency to have it by the weekend and that it should not be sent if they could not meet this deadline. The owner convinced me NOT to overnight due to high cost and because FedEx would have it to me by Thursday or Friday. It never arrived until the following week and was not sent by Fed Ex, but by UPS. I sent it back to Swim and Save and they now are demanding a restock fee of 20%. This is not good business. They need to stand behind what they advertise and what they say over the phone to thier customers.

"Shipping time is unacceptable. Payment came out of my account the day I placed the order and 7 days later it still hasn't shipped. I ordered from Swim N Save due to their website saying most orders arrive in 1 day if ordered by 1 PM, which I did, and I only live about 1 1/2 hours from them so I assumed shipping time would be quick. I called in person to order and questioned the shipping time and the lady I spoke to assured me she would have them rush the order. I paid more than other sites so I would receive it in a timely manner. I never received any kind of email with an order # or anything (luckily she had given me my order # when I placed the order. Over the next few days I kept checking the site and it just said order received. Finally on Tuesday (6 days later) it said processing. I called to see if it would ship and she said their computers had been down and the orders would be shipping out that day. I contacted them the following day and it still hasn't shipped. She has promised to call me back as soon as the warehouse returns her call. Reading other reviews I'm feeling like I'll be lucky if I ever receive this order. Luckily I paid through Paypal so I will dispute it through them if I need to. Checked Better Business Bureau and Swim N Save has been revoked and has a grade of D-. Even if there are issues getting an order shipped out, the company, at the very least, should communicate with their customers via email or some form of communication so customers know the status of their order. As far as I am being told, my order is not on backorder or out of stock, it just hasn't been shipped. I so wish I would have checked this company out before placing the order. I would not order from this company again. I too will be placing a complaint with BBB and Paypal if this is not resolved soon.

6/21 Spoke to Joe yesterday. He said he had shipped my order out. I didn't ever receive an email with the tracking # that I requested, but my order did arrive today as promised, so my issue has been resolved.

7/6 I received an email today stating that my shipping costs were refunded to my account. It was unexpected but very much appreciated. Swim N Save (Joe) did make everything right in the end and I did want to leave a positive note to end the review :)

"Buyer beware! Every single review that states communication and customer service is poor is true. Here is our experience. We needed to order a new pool valve. Customer service reps attempted to help us order the right part. It DID arrive in a timely manner. Thankyou swim n save for that. However the part that arrived was not the right part for our sand filter. So after a minimum of three attempts to reach a live person to figure out what to do next, i ended up using another company to figure out what part i needed. I decided that exchanging this valve with the same company would fare better than purchasing from another company. Here's where swim n save fails in my opinion. Their policy states that you can 't return items without an rma # but that you do need to return within 30 days. After five days of attempts to reach someone for a rma(return #) i reached someone who" changed the status of my request" to a "return request" but offered no further instructions. I believe that swim n save deliberately withheld a shipping address so that we would be beyond our 30 day window for returns. After three weeks of waiting for a return address i sent my valve back to the address that i found on the internet with enclosed copies of my internet reciepts and email responses. ( if you read other reviews you will find that this busines is in fact run out of Joe 's residence, though he makes it sound like there is some sort of gigantic warehouse teeming with people that have no direct connection to where he is located) In later phone calls Joe admits to me that the address i used is their "warehouse". We waited three more weeks for varificationthat our product was recieved but was unable to reach a person or have email returned regarding this issue. Only after threatening BBB and contacting Visa did Joe pipe up with snide and unprofessional comments. While it is true that the policy states you cannot return an item without an address provided by Joe, they fail to offer responses that are necessary to complete a return. As stated earlier i do feel that swim n save is PURPOSELY doing this so that returns CANNOT be completed in a timely manner and will therefore be void. I will happily repost a follow up response when Joe has resolved this issue and issues us a refund. After all , prices were good, shipping was timely and i had one good experience with a helpful CS rep."

"Where to start, 6 voice-mails on 5 separate days about my order unanswered. 2 emails, 1 to support and the other to sales unanswered. It wasn't until I filled a complaint to paypal that 3 days later little bits of my order started showing up over the coarse of 3 days. To date I still have not had anyone from swimnsave return any of my communications. Customer service is not a word that is understood by them. I will never purchase anything from them again even if the product was free and I only had to pay for shipping."

"They offer good prices but I had a disappointing experience. Their overall communication is REALLY bad.

- I didn't get a notification when my first item shipped.
- The web site product page did not notify me that the second item I was ordering was a special order item through Hayward. This added weeks to the delivery and I should have been notified before I ordered.
- My first email to find out about the status of my item was sent 10 days after the order, but was not answered. I had to call a couple of days later to get the status clarified.
- The second item, which did not arrive until 3 weeks after ordering, did not include all of my parts. I called and made them aware of the problem and they researched it with Hayward. They blamed Hayward for not providing the right information.
- It's now been one month since this issue surfaced and I still do not have the parts I ordered. In fact, Swim N Save hasn't answered my last couple of emails inquiring about the issue.

The missing parts are not super expensive so I am less than furious over these problems. I nonetheless feel slightly ripped off and really disappointed by the lack of communication. Additionally, I have been purchasing other parts for my pool renovation from more reliable stores.

"My post was deleted so I will try again. The site doesnt allow links. I wanted to post e-mails and other documents online where you can see what transpired. When you read the reviews there is always a reason, story, or excuse by Joe as to why people had a bad experience. Before my post was deleted his response was filled with fabricated lies. That is why I wanted a link to show that his statements have no basis in reality. When I did that my post was deleted. Here's my original post. Remember, the real reality is that with 4.5 stars out of 10 there is a reason so many are dissatisfied.

If you order from Swim N Save USA after reading these negative reviews don't complain if you have a problem. I wish I had found this site before ordering. I too was attracted to the low price. I would have gladly paid more to avoid my problems.

I should have let me initial wariness be my guide. I attempted 4 calls before buying because I had a question. I never could get hold of a live person and when I left messages they were never returned.

I placed my order on Nov 26th and chose the 1 day ship option available to customers in FL via Fed Ex Ground. When my package did not arrive I tried to track it on their website under order status. I could not get information there. E-mails and phone calls were not returned. It ended up shipping via UPS and arrived Dec 4th. So much for 1 day shipping. Their "order status" still shows to this day shipping by Fed Ex yet it has a UPS #.

I ended up needing to return the product and requested an RMA. I sent repeated e-mails and made repeated calls. I finally got a hold of someone on the phone and they told me only "Joe" can issue RMA's. He said he would leave a message for Joe. No response again. I finally received an E-mail from Joe after I sent an e-mail threatening to go to the FL State Atty General's office as well as to the BBB and posting negative reviews on the web. I also said I would ask for a chargeback from my credit card company.

Joe's response was a diatribe telling me he did not care what I did. He told me I had the product and I would get further ahead if I apologized to him. (unfortunately this site does not allow me to post his e-mail to me as it violates their policy)

I had the product because they would not facilitate me returning it! I had to APOLOGIZE to HIM in an e-mail and finally received an RMA on Dec 31st. I returned the product and tracked it. It arrived on Jan 3rd. I contacted Joe via e-mail and he told me I would be credited in 24-48hrs. After repeated phone calls (no one live ever answers) and e-mails I gave up and disputed this with my credit card company. I finally receive my credit on Jan 28th through the credit card company, not Joe.

ASK YOURSELF BEFORE ORDERING? Is it worth going through what I did to save a few $'s? Do your homework. Check the BBB. Their rating is horrid. Google map their business sites and look at their place of "business" with the satellite view. 422 Still Meadows Cir E, Palm Harbor, FL 34683. Here's the returns warehouse address: Swim & Save Returns Branch 183 1207 ENTERPRISE DRIVE PORT CHARLOTTE, FL. 33953. They try to make themselves look on the website like a large professional company. Believe me they are anything but that. The owner likes to say they are different "branches". Well the HQ of his "operations" is his house.

If he spent as much time on customer service as he did fabricating lies then maybe he would not get so many poor reviews.

UPDATE 3-12-03 - Contrary to Joe's response I only threatened to go the BBB and authorities. I had to APOLOGIZE to get my RMA. I never threatened anyone. He likes to lie to cloud the issue so in his mind he can justify poor to non-existent service. Joe also went on our companies FB page and posted personally defamatory statements about me. I took screen captures and sent to my lawyers in case they are needed in the future. Lastly, he claims I never sent the product back. Here is the tracking # from Fed Ex. 986429515009031 Anyone can take this # and put it right in the Google search bar, hit enter and see the tracked shipment that shows the weight, the RMA # and that it was signed for upon delivery. I also DID receive a credit card company that they NEVER returned to him. They ruled in my favor. Game, set, match Joe. Proof to the world that you are not only a liar but a poor business man with no sense of customer service.

Update 3/13/13 Unfortunately, I did not hit the lottery with your company. The "response I am contrary too" is the response you initially gave under "read user comments" on this website. Why do you continue to insist that we used an "attempted" chargeback and did not return the product. We received the RMA on 12/31 (finally!) Product came back to you on 1/3/13. See the Fed Ex tracking # from my earlier post. You told me on 1/3 via e-mail that it would take 24-48 hrs to process the credit. I called and e-mailed weekly asking where my credit was. Well after 2 1/2 weeks of no response and no credit only then did I go to my credit card company for relief. They gave me my money back. You received a chargeback. In regards to my "stability", I own a SUCCESSFUL business,and I am a college graduate. By reviewing your posts I see you have trouble mastering English and the nuances of writing. I have never seen such poor grammar and writing skills. That combined with your poor customer service and far fetched excuses makes you look foolish every time you respond to the NUMEROUS negative reviews.
